I cannot say enough about this positive experience with Hratch and his team. From the initial meeting with Hratch to view the job, thru the work process, to the final walkthru, everyone was very professional, courteous, personable, and tuned in to detail. Hratch was very responsive and understanding of my needs and requirements. His original estimate was right on and lower or equal to other estimates that I had received. The painters were on time, worked contiuously and very efficiently, moved all the furniture and replaced it, and cleaned up every day. The final result is beyond expectation. Everything looks bright and clean and neat. GREAT JOB!! I would definitely recommend them to others and use use them again myself.

We hire Hratch and IMG painting to do this large exterior painting project because they had done such fantastic work painting the interior of our house when we first moved in. As we had expected, they did an absolutely fantastic job. Hratch has a fanatical attention to detail--he isn't satisfied until everything is perfect. And in fact, he goes above and beyond by not just doing exactly what we've asked, but by making suggestions on how to do things even better. His crew is punctual and professional and left the property in great shape once they were done.

I thought he was great. He had a great team and he's a great guy. He did a fantastic job. The work was really well done and he paid a lot of attention to detail. He really took care to make sure that the walls were beautiful and smooth. He had a really good team who was very respectful of my space. They were very careful not to drag dirt through the house. They really respected my wishes for no shoes and whatnot. He was really great; a really nice guy. His punctuality was on point. He was there early and he keeps the time. The job was done on time too. He was very professional, including his staff. I would use him again, in fact he is probably going to do some more work for me.

We cannot say enough good things about the experience of working with Hratch. He was extremely professional and accommodating from day one. When he came to do the quote it became clear that he was very knowledgeable and honest. For example, he pointed out the type of paint that we had and the reason why it had failed. He mentioned that if we wanted some parts of the wall to look truly perfect it would cost us more money. He also talked about how long the job would take and about the options we had. We wanted someone to paint the front and back stairs of a three story house. We obtained 4 quotes from highly-rated Angie's list painters. Hratch and another company gave us similar quotes, and the two other companies gave us a higher quote and a lower quote. We chose Hratch because: 1. he has one team that does all of the work and Hratch is personally involved in each project 2. his quote was the most detailed 3. he seemed reliable and understanding and had experience in the area. After seeing the results of his work we would absolutely recommend Hratch for several reasons: 1. he did an amazing job 2. he completed the work in the timeframe they gave us 3. he left everything spotless 4. he fixed a hole we had on the wall at no additional cost 5. he was extremely accommodating (we had a newborn in the building and his team was quiet and arranged the work to make sure that there was always one 'clear' entrance to the house)

We had a great experience with Hratch and his crew! The communication was thorough, and Hratch took the extra time to make sure we were happy with our colors and with the way the project was going. His crew members were very hard working and respectful of our living space. We were working under a time crunch, and Hratch took our time constraints seriously. At one point, Hratch even drove out (from Newton) to Cambridge and back to help us get the particular brand of paint we wanted within the hectic few days before our move. Since the house is very large and brand-new, there were a few loose ends after Hratch and his crew finished. Hratch made sure to schedule a return time for touch-ups, and he always offered me the chance to look over his crew's work to see if anything further was needed. I really enjoyed meeting Hratch and the other painters, and I have a whole lot of respect for how he does business. Plus, he is a wonderful guy!

Just adding to the list of very satisfied reviews. We had a great experience. Hratch was very punctual, polite and professional. His crew was great as well. Easy going during price negotiations too. IMG's estimate was a bit higher then another well reviewed AL provider, but we felt very confident with Hratch's attitude and attention to detail. Him and his crew did not let us down. The only minor hickup was a few days prior to starting the job, we had not received any communication from him regarding logistic/timing details ( ie. start time and estimated lenght of project). He cordially apologized for the lack of communication and after that everything went on smoothly. He even painted some additional walls at no charge and fixed one of our window sills that was damaged due to poor construction. Each day of the job he would go over exactly what was going to be done that day and woud come back before his crew was done to check on the work.

Hratch is incredibly detail-oriented, and a perfectionist. He and his crew are personally invested in the quality of their work. We asked him to do a very large job on a very tight timeline and he got everything in the original estimate plus come additional work done on time. Even better, he had the lowest price of the three painters we spoke with. And to top it off, he's a super nice guy too. I can't recommend Hratch and IMG Painting highly enough.

Hratch arrived with his team for this job - Rick and Henry. After carefully moving the necessary furniture and placing their drop cloths, Rick and Henry commenced the surface prep. These guys are extremely careful about surface prep; they spent the entire first day sanding and patching. With very powerful lighting, they examined every surface very carefully. On the second day, they commenced painting, and needless to say the results were spectacular. Not only was their craftsmanship excellent, they were very pleasant people to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Hratch and his team did a fantastic job. The house is totally transformed. Hratch was the only painter to quote the job who pointed out that our living room actually had wallpaper in it that had been painted over - no other quotation noticed that. We made sure Hratch understood that we were very concerned about smoothness of the walls, and Hratch and his team delivered. There must have been two weeks of nothing but prep work prior to the actual painting. A crew of 3 people for about two weeks, 8-hr shifts. And the team was working hard. Tons of wallpaper removal, plaster touch-ups, priming with 75% coloring added, shining a light on the primer to find imperfections, more sanding, more priming, more light shining, etc. These guys had tremendous attention to detail. Hratch also recommended a flooring company that he frequently works with (Elite Floorcraft) and his recommendation was great - they did a fantastic job. Hratch coordinated with the flooring company (almost like a General Contractor) so Hratch and his team did not paint the baseboards until the flooring was complete, then they came back to finish the baseboards. We've had a bunch of people over and everyone agrees that the place has been utterly transformed. Some folks were kicking themselves that they didn't buy the house, given what could have been made of it. We have Hratch and his team to thank for that! Overall, IMG Painting is not the cheapest option, but I firmly believe that they were a tremendous value. (The addition to the house was painted a month previously by another company, and the difference is really quite evident. A good paint job really is in the prep work, and Hratch and his team did a fantastic prep and a fantastic job overall)

I had a fantastic experience with them. He is fantastic. He is so meticulous, and he pays attention to every detail. Even if you look up close, you can't find any imperfections.

I cannot speak highly enough about .Hratch and IMG. Hratch is a perfectionist and he is truly not happy until you are happy. His crew reflects his excellent leadership. They are punctual, extremely clean and very good painters. I will use them again and recommend them without reservation. In addition, I felt that the price was very fair and competitive.

Hratch and his crew were wonderful to work with! We had three painters come and access the job. While Hratch's bid was the highest of the three, he was by far the most professional and explained in detail how his crew was going to do the work. We new there was going to be a ton of prep work involved in this job and wanted someone who would take there time and do it correctly. We also have a young child and wanted to make sure the clean up at the end of each day was done well. The crew spent over a week doing prep work, literally scrapping almost every inch of the exterior. They did a great job and were very pleasant to have around our home. They also did a great job laying down tarps and plastic to protect our yard from paint chips. At the end of the day they vacuum up anything that the tarps had missed. Hratch kept in touch with us throughout the process and stopped by on a daily basis to see how the crew was doing. Hratch was very personable and his crew did a quality job. I would highly recommend IMG Painting for any of your painting needs. I know we will be using them in the future.

Overall they did a great job and the house looks great. There were a few places where there was some paint spilled or an area got missed, but Hratch and his team were very responsive and addressed everything.

I had gotten an estimate from IMG last fall, but it was too late in the season to actually do the work. The proposal was still good this spring, so I asked them to proceed with the work. I explained that I was in no hurry, as long as the work was completed sometime this summer. This summer was a terrible time to do quality exterior painting because of all of the rain. They scheduled the work a number of times but had to postpone it because of the rain. I was more than happy to have them wait until the weather would permit a quality job. The weather finally did cooperate in mid August. I was present during the work they performed, and I was very impressed with the diligence and attention to detail that they gave the job. During the preparation, they discovered a number of boards in both the railing and deck that were rotten. They replaced the rotten railings at no extra charge, but some of the deck boards required carpentry work that they do not do. For that, they recommended an excellent carpenter who was able to do the necessary repairs in a timely way, so that the painting could proceed on schedule. I am very pleased with the final result, and with the professionalism and care they brought to the job. I suspect I could have found a company that would have quoted a lower price but I'm certain that the work would have been much poorer. As they proceeded with the job, I could see the many ways in which a low-priced company could have cut corners. IMG is simply committed to doing quality work at a fair price, which is exactly what I was looking for. I'm convinced that this approach really saves money in the long run, and I am delighted to give them my highest recommendation.

Hratch Iskenderian and his crew from IMG Painting were phenomenal! I got three painting estimates to paint 3 bedrooms, a hallway, stairwell, kitchen, living room, and dining room in the house I had just purchased. The trim did not need painting. Hratch's estimate was the highest by a lot , but I wanted to hire him as he seemed very experienced and attentive to detail. His prep included caulking, repairing cracks, removing kitchen wallpaper, and priming. He also works very closely with his crew to make sure the job is done right. Hratch was willing to work with me to bring the estimate down by eliminating some of the very detailed prep work he had originally intended to do. It was still $400 higher than the next lower estimate, but I was about to move into the house and he promised to have it done in time even if his crew had to come at night or on the weekend. To be fair, the other painters seemed pretty good, but one of them worked solo and it would have taken too long. The other one was from a larger outfit, so I thought I might not get the same individual attention as with IMG. Hratch also pointed out cracks and imperfections and explained details about keeping the molding neat that the others hadn't really mentioned. Even though his crew was very busy on other, probably bigger, jobs, Hratch made me feel like mine was the most important. His painters are extremely skilled at their craft. Stripping the wallpaper in the kitchen revealed a badly damaged section of wall that needed to be replaced before it could be painted. They went the distance and made it smooth and seamless. This unforseen extra work did not increase my cost. When I wanted to use Ben Moore's Natura zero VOC instead of the EcoSpec line, Hratch made sure to get it for me without increasing my cost. He was very patient while I decided on colors, which had to be done very quickly because of how soon I had to move in. Everything was done very efficiently, from estimate to completed job in less than two weeks! They also painted the ceilings in every room with 2 coats of flat white. Hratch and his crew members were all very polite, hardworking, and professional. They did come in at night and on the weekend and got the whole job done in about 2 days. Everything still looks beautiful. I would definitely hire IMG again, and recommend them without hesitation.

The job had to be done on very short notice. Within only a few days from the initial visit the job was done! Hratch was easy to negotiate with, he didn't mind explaining things, and his rate was acceptable. The job was done up to our expectations, and because we are a non-profit organization, and Hratch had some personal connection to what we do, he donated the whole job! We are very grateful for this gesture and will definitely call him when we need painting done in the future.

It could not have gone better. Getting work done in your house can be really distressing and Hratch made sure things went as smoothly as possible. He was really great to work with and easily accomodated any changes I needed to make during the course of the job. He providced a fair and detailed estimate and did not exceed the estimated costs. He really puts in 150% effort and his team of guys couldn't be nicer. They left everything super clean each day and at the end of the job they even mopped the floors including the foyer! If he had any doublt at all about any of the work he would make sure he called and clarifyed things with me before he proceeded. The care and attention he took to detail was greatly appreciated. The kitchen looks fantastic! I would (and have already) gladly recommend Hratch to others and would definately hire him again which I'm sure I will be doing as there is a lot more painting to be done both inside and out.

Hratch was very responsive to my initial call and managed to swing by my home within hours to look over the potential job and provide me with an estimate. We scheduled the job for a couple of weeks later and his team arrived right on time along with Hratch to review the rooms, etc. His team was fantastic and painted the living room/dinning room, kitchen and entrway within a day and a half. We're very happy with the work that was done by the team. I intend to hire Hratch and his team again in the future.

I called Hratch to give estimate on a interior painting project. He was on time for the appointment. He asked many questions and give me a detailed estimate within a few days. I found him knowledgable, polite and respect his client. Although he is very busy, he returned my call within a few hours to answer questions. I wanted to hire him, but his estimate is higher (not significantly) than another contractor. I finally decided to go with the other company. I do think if I hire him, he will do a good job.

Hratch, the owner, was very responsive and willing to work with my tight timeframe. He and his team did everything that I asked and did a good job. The only complaint I have is that one of his workers had to step on a railing to paint a wall and left boot marks on the white railing that I later had to clean up. They also forgot to replace one of the light switch plates that they had removed for painting. I understand that they had worked hard that day, but I felt that they rushed out of my house before doing a thorough check to make sure that everything was put back in its place.

Hratch was very responsive and gave me a competitive quote for exactly what I asked for. As the project progressed a few more items came up and he did some of them for free and charged me a fair prices for others. His team worked quickly to accommodate my very tight time line. I am pleased with the results and will be contacting them for future work.
