Do not use this company, you get people to paint a house who have no idea what they are doing. A little down the road you see the evidence of the money you saved and you end up having to spend more in order to fix the mistakes that were dormant at first.
Description of Work: The entire house was painted by college pro. They did not use primer, all of the paint peeled off and the new woodwork all over the house was ruined. They also did a poor scaping job and the paint is clumpy. This was, in effect, a waste of money as everything has to be repainted. Not only does it have to be repainted but EVERYTHING has to be scraped off because the paint is not adhering to the wood and would just ruin future paint jobs, making everything subsequent more expensive.

They painted the entire house. They are energetic young people that were prompt and worked long hours until they were finished. They cleaned up well and we were satisfied with the good work they done.
Description of Work: We had College Pro Painters come out and the complete exterior of the house.

Spencer B., franchisee rep. gave me the estimate, and I signed the contract. He said he would absolutely call before Fri. to set up appt. Didn't call, I had to call to set it up for next Fri. 2 hours after appt. time, he called and said he couldn't make it because of another job; scheduled it for the next Sun. I questioned the date because it would be Father's day, but he said he would be here in the afternoon. I was out of town, so my dad waited for him. He didn't show up, or call, so my dad wasted a whole afternoon on Father's Day. waiting. Mon. morning my dad called, he promised to be there that week. Work was finally done. Quality not so great: missed areas between slats, edges of some boards, and didn't push the soil away from bottom boards to wash and stain-even though I asked if I should move the soil and he said no, they would take care of all that. My dad signed the satisfaction report for me because I was still out of town. I wouldn't have signed it, and would not recommend.
Description of Work: Washed and stained upper and lower porch, also swing on porch.

A bad paint job. In 2005 they were late coming and did not call. Had to postpone vacation 2 days. For the warranty, one representative said they never should have said they would paint the house. Another said they would have to do it all over. Originally worked with Nicholas Baudhuin, WI., very nice. This summer with Rachael Farrell, 262-389-4685, also very nice. Rachael has not returned my calls. Also called the National Service Center, 800-327-2468. They said someone would call. No one has. The house looks worse than before it was painted. Have to see to understand. There would definitely be a reduction in the selling price if I were to sell, because it will have to be done over. The type of paint they chose could also be part of the problem. Ben Bahnson just called, July 6, 07, manager over Rachael. Made an appointment to look at the house July 12, 07
Description of Work: Had house, including garage, painted lst full week of July, 2005. Many problems. Warranty was for 2 years. 2BR, 1 bath. Called for warranty work - parts not painted at all, nails not pounded in, blisters, bad scrape and sanding job, lots of paint drips on house, peeling, bad caulking or none, some ventilation and windows painted shut - May, 2006, Painters came out for 1 day. House still looks bad. Cloud effects all over the house. Called again this summer, 2007. Pretty much same compaints. They did fix some of the problems, but house still looks bad.
