+ -1 morePhenomenal: Very productive. Went from a room that was not fun to walk through--piles of clutter, boxes, etc.--to a "sanctuary". Not only will she help you do the hands-on work of organizing, but she will give you many great ideas along the way. In fact, we spoke to her in advance so that we could buy certain kinds of bins before the appointment. We do have a bit more work left to do (~10%) on our own because the 3 hours went by so fast! Definitely already planning to hire her again for "Project 2" (organizing a different room) and "Project 3" (organizing the basement).
Description of Work: Organize master bedroom.

+ -1 moreMaureen is absolutely AMAZING! She gets things done so quickly! Most recently, The Organizing Diva helped me sort through three years' worth of papers and tax documents. Everything got sorted, labeled and organized in record time. Previously, Maureen helped me sort through old boxes in my basement that I hadn't opened for 10 years. Some of them were in really awful condition, but she dove right in and worked cheerfully and tirelessly until the task was accomplished. She then hauled things off to Goodwill for me, and sent me the receipt for my taxes. I really can't think of enough good things to say about her work ethic -- and about the results!
Description of Work: Maureen helped me organize three years' worth of papers and tax documents. I have also used The Organizing Diva (Maureen) to help me clean out old boxes full of "who knows what?" in my basement.

+ -1 moreMaureen (the Organizing Diva) is absolutely terrific! Her price is inexpensive, particularly considering what a good job she does. She is very responsive to e-mails, showed up right on time, and was polite, cheerful and pleasant the entire time. I hired her for three hours to help me open up old, mildew-y, musty boxes that had been undisturbed in my basement for years. Maureen was kind, non-judgemental, and an absolute work horse! We got so much done! I really appreciated her attitude, considering I was a bit sheepish about not having cleaned up these old boxes before. No judgement; just kindness. She helped me organize, decide what to throw and what to keep, helped me carry boxes upstairs, threw away the trash, and hauled many boxes and bags to Goodwill. I'm going to have her come back next month to help me again. I cannot too highly recommend her services.

+ -1 moreEverything went great. Maureen emailed to confirm and was on time . She worked the entire time she was at my home. I gave her the freedom to check all drawers, closets, cabinets etc. She had practical, reasonable and concrete suggestions throughout the house to help organize the flow of my new and downsized home. Maureen is very hands on. She climbed step ladder, hung pictures and helped move furniture. She reviewed everything we did before leaving and left me with ideas and suggestions to do independently. Maureen will take away unwanted/not needed items for donation. Even my husband had a positive reaction to the suggestions. I feel she went above and beyond. She was a great help to me.
Description of Work: Maureen came to my new home on 2 separate occasions ($150 per visit) She provided 3 hours of service. consulting organizing, decluttering, room design.

+ -1 moreMaureen provided tips and suggestions of tools to help me organize my closet. We went through all the off-season clothes and she helped me better store them. She made me feel comfortable as she asked me questions about my lifestyle—to better understand how to organize my closet to make getting dressed easier each day. We labeled all stored clothes into categories which will be very helpful when I need to find the right clothes (Larger summer vs. skinny summer etc.)
Description of Work: I was totally overwhelmed with the mess in my closet and Maureen helped me organize all of my clothes. She took out all the past season’s clothes and helped me store them away. She also helped sort and purge all my clothes. She was kind but firm and helped me make realistic decisions. She then helped me re-hang all my “keepers” in a categorized, organized fashion (and by color which made my closet look even prettier!).
