Description of Work: I first met Abe Schickel in 2010 through Angie’s List when I was looking for a company to do some interior painting. I ended up choosing Abe because he impressed me with his knowledge and suggestions when he came to look at the job, and because of his subsequent low bid. He ended up painting 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, the kitchen and a hallway. His crew did an excellent job. It was exactly what I wanted with minimal disruption of the household. Total cost: $5,975 On the basis of his previous performance I called on him again in 2016 to paint the living room, dining room, front entry, master bath and another hallway. This job was complicated by the necessity of removing 90 year old wall paper then preparing the plaster surface under underneath that was laced with cracks due the settling of the structure. There was also the question of the colors for the various walls. Abe gave me some sound advice and suggestions, then sent me for a second opinion to someone he knew to be an acknowledged color expert at a local paint outlet. Again, with this bigger and more disruptive job, the result was excellent, an opinion shared by my two sons and their families when they next came to visit. Total Cost: $10,945 As a result of these experiences I recommend Able Schickel & Company for interior painting to anyone without reservation.

THE PAINTERS CAME IN PATCHED ALL OF THE HOLES AND PAINTED THE ROOM. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT PATCHING AND PAINTING JOB. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
