+ -1 moreFantastic experience with ABS. I’m embarrassed to say when they told me Colleen would be out to measure, I thought , a girl ??!! Total projection since I can’t even measure a rug. She really knows her stuff ! Had great ideas and was completely understanding of keeping my little terror dog from having any slack to start to dig. As you can see my land is hilly and they got this right to the ground. Perfect ! I was also concerned about keeping the view. Colleen explained a 4 foot fence would take care of this. She also encouraged me to sit on the deck with someone holding a measuring stick to be sure it wouldn’t impact the view. I love the way she thinks and communicates! Every-time I had a question she had the answer. She explained things in a way that wasn’t condescending or showed annoyance. I think I was annoying lol. I would’ve wanted to tell me to shut up. The guys who showed up worked nonstop. It was pouring rain and they didn’t care. I told them they could come on a better day but they kept plugging away. I am so impressed with this entire crew , including the excellent communication of the office staff ! Customer service is alive and well on the Cape. Just call ABS fence. You’re welcome !

+ -1 moreABS Fence was very responsive and professional from the first phone call. They removed the old fence that was damaged in the winter storms and installed the new fence in 1 day. The installation was done properly and looks great. I would recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreAs above, ABS Fence, Inc: They were awesome, polite, punctual and VERY NEAT!! There were delays from original date due to weather.....but showed up on their next available date as they had called several times to notify me and remind me when they were coming.
Description of Work: Purchased fencing from LOWES in West Wareham, MA, ABS Fencing was Lowe's installer. They were awesome, polite, punctual and VERY NEAT!!!

+ -1 moreABS Fence does not stand by their work. ABS installed my fence on August 2016. Three months later the door latch and fittings detached from the wood supports due to improper installation and the use of the wrong, too small screws which where not pilot drilled. All the wood around all the gate fittings cracked and the gate cant be secured now. After several calls to them, the owner would not speak to me directly, they advised that they would need to make an additional charge in order to fix THEIR faulty work.In addition, the finish work was poor, with several bent nail heads and permanent pencil guide lines on the outside of the fence. I do not recommend this company.

Description of Work: They installed 90' of fence. The whole job started going wrong with the man who came out to measure the project for the proposal. Apparently he was let go before they started my project, but he incorrectly measured my job. Buyer beware!!! The first installer that showed up was very knowledgeable but extremely rude. ABS was having personnel issues at the time (so I was told) and very busy because of the time of year. They showed up a week late from when they said they would start. That would have been fine because it was such a small job, but they didn't come back the next day to complete the job and left the unfinished fence looking terrible for July 4th weekend and the weekend after. This man installed a 24' section of fence in the middle of a 30' area leaving a pronounced gap at one end. I believed that when he came back to finish, he would install a smaller section to fill the gap. Apparently not. The owner ended up coming to look at my project and agreed to take down the 8' section and install a 10' section to fill the gap. That came out very nice! They finally showed up to complete this small job on July 13. The owner ended up not charging me for some fence removal to appease us ($200). I believe the owner to be very nice and conscientious and the second team he sent was very good and respectful. I hate to give a small business a bad review, but the problems they were having shouldn't have been my problem. I'm sure that many people are satisfied with their work, but this was my experience.

+ -1 moreWhile working on an adjacent property A.B.S. Fence installers illegally discarded pieces of rolled galvanized steel fence posts 30'-45' onto my property endangering my horses and my wife. One or both of our horses could have stepped on one, broken a leg, which may have thrown my wife off of the horse. Disturbing behavior that could have resulted in serious injury or death. Repeated attempts to get an apology from the company went unheeded. Stay away or they might harm you or your neighbors! Police were called and responded to the scene and took photos. In response to the reply by A.B.S. Answer me this "?None of the issues were caused by or had anything to do with ABS Fence.? - so I guess you just leave pipe laying around for others to discard?

Description of Work: Installed new aluminum patio enclosure with one gate and driveway gate. | |Staff was knowledgeable, careful to make sure dogs did not escape- and made a small modification that improved the overall installation. Supervisor came at about the mid-point and ensured that all things were done properly. They were polite, cleaned the area before departing and now after several months I couldn't be happier. When it is time to convert the fenced area to all aluminuim I will not hesitate to call ABS again.

+ -1 moreIt went marvelously. They set up an appointment when we signed the contract, and there were no issues with them keeping the appointment. The salesperson's expertise was helpful, as the post we had bought originally was too short and he recommended not using concrete to anchor it as it might rot. The guys who put in the fence were professional, dug most of it by hand (because of underground propane pipe, invisible dog fence, and sprinklers) and were careful not to damage any of the underground items. The fence is square and sturdy, and the gate opens easily and is level, and closes by itself nicely. All work was done in one day. It was a pleasant experience and the fence is lovely. I would definitely hire them again for future fencing needs.
Description of Work: We recently had generator put in and wanted a fence around it. It is a tall (6' foot) synthetic fence with a gate, They also put in a post at the end of our driveway for an address sign. I don't recall the exact price, so I estimated it above. I felt that it was definitely a fair price for the job.

+ -1 moreGreat experience with ABS, they were prompt and great communications on the estimate date and time . The company rep. described all our options available based on the site visit. Weighed all our options / estimates, ABS was the best value for money. We were able to schedule the installation per our needs and they follwed up prior to the date to verify we were all set to go. The crew arrived on time , on the promised date and were fantastic. Completed a majority of the job by the end if the day as planned , they left the site clean and reviewed with us the schedule for completion the next day. Day two was just as planned, completing the job and reviewing the install with us prior to final departure. Really nice job and we are very happy with the results .. And so are the neighbors !

Description of Work: I contacted this company to install a fence on our property. The called back immediately to setup an appointment. The estimator came at the appointed time and was extremely professional. Their bid was very competitive and I would have used them had I decided to move forward with this fence installation. If I decide to install the fence, I will definitely use them.
