They came out the very next day. They were right on time. Very professional. I would have no problem referring them or using them again.

This job went very well. I was happy with outcome and the service. At my initial contact, I spoke with Scott and the very next day he arrived at my home during the window of time he specified. He went right to work on the front door and was confident that the new handset could be installed even though there were a couple of minor problems. He methodically moved around to each door and installed the locksets and dead bolts as asked. Scott was friendly and professional. He included a free regular lock install and 3 free duplicate keys. He swept up the debris and left the old locksets intact for future use. There was a problem with one lock not working with the correct key and Scott stuck with the glitch until it was fixed. I would use this company again and recommend to all.

The representative was very pleasant and hard working. She was very detailed and explained to me how each lock was going to work. She also provided suggestions, etc. I was very pleased with the work. I feel safe with my new locks and new keys.

Everything was good. He was a little late to the appointment (traffic) but he called ahead to alert me to this problem. I have no complaints whatsoever.

The women who came out was extremely nice, very punctual, and did a wonderful job. I am very happy with the work that was done. I did speak with Scott he was very nice and scheduled everything.

We were told our locksmith would arrive between 10 and noon, and at noon she called and said she'd received an emergency call and was on her way, albeit an hour drive from us. It wasn't a problem, though, and she arrived in about 45 minutes. She was done with the install in about 45 minutes and vacuumed up after herself. She was pleasant to work with and we'd definitely have Scott's Locks back out again.

Scott did what appears to be a great job on my deadbolt installation. He rearranged his schedule and was able to come out the same day which was very much appreciated. He was friendly and pretty fast-- the entire job took about 30 minutes from start to finish. His price was on the higher end ($175 plus tax) but he also had to drive 30 minutes to get to me. I would definitely use him again.

Following the purchase of a house, i arranged for Scott's to re-key the locks on two house doors. The locks were from different makers; one door had just a deadbolt and one door had both a deadbolt and doorknob lock. Heather arrived within a couple of minutes of the appointed time, discussed the process with me, offered me options on working the 3 locks, and quickly accomplished the task at hand. She explained the "smartkey" technology to me, and pleasantlyanswered a question or two from my children. She was a pleasure to work with, and very kindly even picked up some errant nails or screws she noticed in the driveway (which we hadn't noticed), likely saving us from some unhappy car tires!

The latch mechanism on the door stopped working. The replacement latch and handle I purchased required installation equipment that I did not have. Scott Locks came to my home and installed the replacement handle, latch and deadlock hardware. They also took the time to explain the workings of the "Smartkey/eplacement key" technology, that accompanied the hardware. I found Heather and her father, professional, courteous and personable. Overall, a great experience!

This contractor has no business being on Angie's List. The moment he walked in the office, he was criticizing the hard wood flooring job! (Hello, are you a locksmith or a flooring specialist?). Quoted outrageous charges, just kept nodding his head and knocked down everything he saw and was overall NEGATIVE in his attitude. He did not even show up in a professional vehicle.

I bought a new house and at the recommendation of my Realtor scheduled Scott's Locks to come and change several different different locks to the same, new key. They were able to come on my first available date and do the work. I had seven different keys (front, rear, basement, three different screen doors, and garage doors), but Heather reminded me that with garage door openers I wouldn't need the use of a lock, and that screen door locks are barely worth using because the doors are so flimsy anyway. So she changed the cylinder on the front door to one that not only fit my antique hardware on the unusually thick door, but also matched as close as possible. Then she replaced the failing rear doorknob with a new one that matched the style and rekeyed it to match, and rekeyed the basement door. Heather provided options for parts (new or refurbished, different styles and finishes, etc) and answered all my numerous questions. She also provided professional opinions about locks and home security that are very valuable for a new homeowner.

We recently purchased a house and arranged to have the locks re-keyed and deadbolts installed. Scott's Locks agreed to be there the afternoon following our closing. They didn't show. After two phone calls, it was discovered that they had the wrong date (next day). They arrived the following day and re-keyed the locks. Unfortunately, they were not prepared to install the deadbolts. They came back the day after that to install the deadbolts. They got two deadbolts in, but did not have the parts to complete the third. On day four, they came to our house and finished the job. In the end, Scott' s Lock's completed the project and provided a discount for the inconvenience. They were very pleasant to work with, but the project should have been completed in an afternoon.

Last week our main entry doorknob stopped working. Over the weekend, I bought a new doorknob, got the old knob off, but could not move the latch mechanism, and so still could not open the door. I called Scott on Monday morning. He and his apprentice were at my home by early afternoon, removed the old latch, installed the new knob, which took quite a bit of work, as the new knob was larger than the old. Scott and his apprentice were very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves.

WE LOST OUR HOUSE KEYS, SO WE HAD TO HAVE THIS COMPANY COME OUT AND REKEY THE LOCKS ON THE DOORS. I AM HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES THAT THEY DO BECAUSE I HAVE HIRED THEM SEVERAL TIMES. I THINK THAT THEY DO A GREAT JOB.
