S & W Tile

We hired S&W Tile to remodel the shower in our master bathroom. Wes and his team did a great job, were highly professional, and completed the work thoroughly and efficiently. In particular, they left the bathroom neat and clean at the end of each day of work. We are so impressed with the finished product and cannot thank Wes and team enough. We highly recommend them and will hire them again in a heartbeat.

I would highly recommend Wes and crew for any tile job you need to have done. We had a leaky tiled shower that as pretty bad. Wes told me what was wrong and turned out to be worse than expected. Wes replaced flooring and rotted boards before installing the new tile. He was very receptive to my questions, and concerns. His price is reasonable. He always called back promptly. He and his crew showed up exactly on time. They worked hard and cleaned up after themselves everyday. He even mopped my floors! My new shower is beautiful! I would definitely hire them again in a heartbeat. They were a pleasure to work with.

I had Wes at S&W Tile under contract to replace stand up showers right before the COVID-19 pandemic started. We put the work on hold for a while, but once things started to open up we went ahead and did the work. Wes is great to work with and does a great job. He also did a good job handling our safety requests related to COVID-19 and we were able to get the work done with almost no direct contact.

I had a stand up shower that was leaking. Wes at S&W Tile was super prompt getting me an estimate to replace it and then was able to get the job scheduled and completed quickly as well. I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Wes. He is responsive, thorough, has attention to detail, clean, fast, high quality work. I've already scheduled Wes to come do more work!

I had a shower wall that was leaking. The tile was old and needed to be redone. The work Wes does it "A plus". Wes is extremely detailed and is fantastic with questions. What I have is a beautiful new shower that looks amazing. Wes returns calls and emails lightning fast. I would hire and recommend again. I would educate yourself on some of terms and process in tile construction. I went into this re-model with limited tile vocabulary. I would recommend to anyone read up on tile construction and some of terms that are used in the industry. It will help when you speak with Wes on a project. I have a kitchen backsplash that needs some TLC and I would bring Wes back in heartbeat. Thanks Wes!

Wes is extremely responsive and punctual. He redid our master shower bathroom and was able to handle all of the issues that he uncovered with the demo. The finished product looks great and we are really happy!

Clean demo, good water proofing, straigt tiles - Wes takes pride in his work. Strickly a tile guy - does not do anything beyond tile. Helpful to go over all possible scenarios of what you might run into before signing contract. You may need additional contractors or be handy yourself. He's upfront about it.

Could not have been more impressed with the prompt response and follow thru from Wes. He returned my initial call the same day as well as coming to look at the proposed work to be done. We ultimately made the decision to go with a more extensive remodel but cannot say enough about how impressed I was with Wes.

Wes was highly responsive right from the start, when unlike pretty much everyone else I called, he answered his phone. He was very up-front during the planning process about what would work best in our space and what we needed to do for prep. And he and his assistant showed up on time, did beautiful work, finished ahead of schedule and cleaned everything up. He also made certain to consult with us when there were choices to be made about particular details of the job. We will not hesitate to hire him again for any future tiling jobs.

Wes was great to work with for our shower project. The old shower was sloped incorrectly and draining onto the bathroom floor. He not only solved that problem, but was also able to deal with "surprises" that inevitably come when dealing with a home built in 1839. He is professional, knowledgeable, a hard worker, and priced the work fairly. He worked with us along the way to make choices that best suited our usage of the space as well as our tastes. Would absolutely hire Wes again for any future tile projects. We purchased the tile ourselves with his input on amount and types.

Wes O'Connor of S and W Tile came to our house to look at a botched bathroom tiling job. Wes assured us that once the demo and prep were done, he could create a bathroom we would love. He was entirely honest and up-front with us, and patiently worked with us to get everything planned out. He had a number of great suggestions and solutions, each of which added beauty and functionality. The end result is a gorgeous bathroom space that we're very proud to show off; we are happy to pass along Wes' name, with an enthusiastic endorsement of his work. Wes really did a phenomenal job!! We were willing to pay a bit more for someone we could really trust to execute the job properly, and he delivered! We have an older, slightly askew, house with an old, poorly installed shower with a lot of rot behind it. Wes (and Dave, who did the demolition) were able to clear away the mess, repair the gaps, and install a stunning modern shower. The transition between the old and new tile looks seamless, which I frankly did not expect given how technically difficult the job was. Wes is an excellent communicator, and was very reliable, transparent, and upfront throughout the process.

Everything went great, we had issues with the flooring in our bathroom, grout coming up and Wes made everything right. Replaced the subfloor and put down new tile, also made our shower waterproof, and it was not before. Perfect job, looks beautiful. We have a brand new bathroom. Could not be happier....Thanks

Given the problems encountered, which included replacing the sub floor and the thickness of the tile for the new floor, the project was still completed on time - 3 days. Wes also recommended a demolition man to take up the old tile . Mr. Frost, the demolition man, also did an excellent job, completed the job on time, and was very neat.

All aspects of the job went very well. Wes was very clear and efficient from the initial visit and proposal to the final clean-up and everything in between. The tiles, waterproof walls and shower pan were expertly installed and the final product exceeds our expectations. We kept us informed before and after all phases of the project, informing us of potential areas of concern and finding ways to efficiently address them. He patiently walked us through the pros and cons of different materials and executed the installation with care and precision. He also arrived everyday as scheduled, cleaned the work area very well, and was consistent and punctual in all communications. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend.

Wes was professional, easy to work with, punctual, and definitely knows his craft. Our shower was leaking from multiple locations - a hairline crack in the wall, failed grout in a corner, and an improperly pitched curb under a frameless shower door. Solution was to retile and waterproof. Wes was able to bid the job while also warning of possible complications and their cost before he opened up the wall. Turned out we had multiple types of walls under the tile that had to be removed, reinforced and waterproofed before tiling could begin. He was able to come up with solutions to ensure a stable base for the tile so we would not have new cracks or leaks. Wes was able to recommend friendly and capable contractors to remove the glass door and to remove the debris from the job. Every step of the way, Wes kept us informed as to what was being done and why. And was able to recommend solutions at various price points. Love our new shower will definitely call Wes again for any tiling work!

Wes was incredibly personable and professional and walked us through our first remodeling project from start to finish. We felt absolutely supported and educated and never doubted the work that would be done for us. Wes was on time and worked diligently to finish the project to perfection and we couldn't be happier with the finished project. The job went great! Wes was very easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. He was punctual on the day of the job and incredibly professional. Throughout the job he would let me know if there were any critical decisions that need to be made (due to the unique layout of my kitchen floor plan). Wes always let me know all of the options that I could choose from, along with his professional advice based on his years of experience. I appreciated being informed of what my choices were and I appreciated his honesty. As an example, Wes helped me decide how to accommodate the backsplash to a ventilation hood that I planned to install in the future. He left room for the hood, being careful to check where the exhaust hole would need to be cut. Wes recommenced an approach that would ensure the hood would fit in the space and stay level with the wall. His guidance made me feel confidant that I hired a skilled craftsman with many years of experience. Wes' professionalism extended to the end of the job. He was even courteous enough to clean up after he was finished, even mopping the kitchen floor before he left. I am very happy with the results and have already recommended him to my neighbor. I am happy that I gave him my business, and if I need tiling work done in the future he will be my first choice to go to.
