Buyer Beware! We have used Rudy Juarez at RM Affordable Landscaping in Waltham for a few years and had been satisfied. This Spring one of his employees mistakenly caused irreparable damage to one of the air conditioning units outside requiring us to purchase a new replacement. Rudy recognized his responsibility and was communicative until we reached out to him to work out an equitable solution for us to get paid back for our out of pocket costs (over $2,000). We offered different options to minimize his financial impact-including having him work off the value of what we paid. Despite our outreach, several times over 6 weeks, Rudy went dark without any response to our various texts and calls. We reached out to him again on my wife's phone which he promptly picked up as he did not recognize the number. We scheduled a day for him to come by and discuss and, while he texted us before he came, he did not get out of his car and left after 5 minutes( leaving within the timeframe he said he would be arriving). We asked him to please come back which was about 3 minutes later and he would not. Rudy continues not to respond to any of our outreach. We think that consumers should be aware of this lack of response/accountability and consider whether to hire his company given the risk of not getting reimbursed for any possible damage done to their property.

Rudy is fantastic! I needed to have retaining walls and a garden bed built, and also some trees removed. He was quick to come over to take a look at it and give me an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable. Once I decided to move forward, he was able to start doing the work within days. He and his crew worked hard and I'm very happy with the results.

They were excellent. They arrived promptly on time when they said they would. I had reviewed with the owner what needed to be done the day before and the crew was pleasant and efficient, hard working, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves. I could not be more pleased.

Quick efficient service. I thought that the price was a little high but I wanted to get the job done quickly.

They did a terrible work. They did a lousy job on the sidewalk and driveway. They did not do the front sidewalk. I called them last night and he told me that he needs to run. The first bid they told me it would cost $800 but I paid $900. I was happy. They did not cleaned up the stairs. They supposed to push the snow to the end of the shed but they did not do that they just push it to the beginning of the shed. My tenant has no parking space. They came in the middle of the job. I haven't received the bid for this job.

Rudy and his crew did an excellent job. Very polite, reasonable cost and cleaned up nicely. I would definitely recommend them for tree removal and I would use them again if I had a future need

Excellent service! Responded quickly, very reasonably priced, and meticulous work. They removed huge tree branches off electrical wires with the precision of experts. Very hardworking crew and cleaned up after themselves so well you can’t even tell they were there. No disturbance to our neighbors or the wires on our street. I highly recommend them!

Very good job - worked thoroughly to get rid of undergrowth and dead branches. Also trimmed bushes and trees, including adding mulch base. Very reasonable prices, punctual services, and professionally done.

These guys were amazing. They responded to my request immediately, came to my house to offer a quote (which was incredibly reasonable), and performed the services same day - can't say enough good things about the experience. Will be using them on a monthly basis going forward.

Excellent service! The owner, Rudy, provided a quote the day I called, and was able to adjust his schedule on short notice to start work the next day. A storm had already brought down two large limbs, and another threatening one was coming the next day. I had gotten several other estimates, and was told that a crane was need for the removal, and that it would take over a month to get it done. With Rudy's tree climbing expertise, the job was done within two days and at less than half the cost other larger companies quoted.. The team that showed up did a great job. Very efficient and worked quickly. They did a great job with what was asked and a great job cleaning up.

The crew was very professional during these COVID times. They were prompt in replying to my request to quote and were done in two days. It was lot of manual labor and they made sure everything was done to our requirement. There were a few dry leaves in our driveway, they actually cleared that too as they moved out. I am very pleased and will definitely hire again. Thank you!!

price was right but they did not do a thorough job and left lots of sticks and twigs throughout the yard. I notified Rudi and he said he would come back but he never did

I hired RM Affordable to remove two large trees from my property. They were very responsive and helpful through the planning process, and did an excellent and clean job with the tree removal. From the time I requested the quote to the job being expertly completed was only about 1 week, they were great. I would definitely hire them again.

Moved into house with poor lawncare. Decided to get lawn reseeded via hydra seed. RM was the best quote I received. They also were available to get the job done very quickly. Lawn looks great!

I had a tree go through my house during the recent storms. It caused a great deal of damage to my home. I needed a quote to remove the tree and also to trim another tree away from the house and power lines. I can’t have the work done to my home until the tree is removed. With bad weather coming, it’s critical this is done as soon as possible. I called Rudy, left a message and he called later that day. He said he’d be at my house the next morning at 9:00. At 9:30, I called him and he told me he was in Brookline. He just never showed up nor did he call to tell me he wasn’t coming. He apologized and we agreed he’d come at 11:00 the following morning after I asked him several times if he was absolutely sure he’d make it. 11:00 came and went and he never showed up and never called. Completely unreliable and inconsiderate.

Rudy (the owner) was punctual and friendly. Crew worked diligently for 2 days straight. Added extra high grade materials and did some changes as we requested. I would definitely hire RM again. Very professional.

The owner called me within an hour of receiving my request for service. An appointment was made and the crew showed up on time. After evaluating the situation, the owner called and said the part of the tree that was standing also needed to come down. I then asked if another tree could be taken down at the same time. We agreed to a fair price - $950. Upon inspection of the completed work, I found the crew did an excellent job of removing all stray limbs and bark. Although I had new grass beginning to take in my yard, the crew was careful not to rip the dirt away when removing the large branches.

Made appointment. Rudy did not show. Did not call to say he was not coming and did respond later when I let him know he did not show.
