Peter and his team did a panel upgrade for us when we bought our house in 2021. They completed tidy and well-labeled work on a tight deadline, exactly as planned, on one of the hottest days of the year. I was really impressed at the time with the clear communication about when they'd do different phases of work, what we needed to arrange with the town electric company, etc. More recently, one piece of conduit came unglued and they came by to fix it almost immediately, free of charge. I'm really impressed with this crew's standards.

We hired DiMasi to install TV antennas in our attic and run RG6 cables from the antennas to TVs on the first and second floors of our house. Peter DiMasi made a visit to our house and came up with the best route for both cable runs. His workers came a few days later and did the work. They were pleasant and worked steadily and quietly. Their work was very neat. No repairs needed in the house. They were good about cleaning up after the job. Reception is now excellent on both TVs.

I contacted PW DiMasi by email about installing an LED strip light in my master bath. He answered promptly and we agreed on a date for the work to be done. The electrician came on time, did the work quickly and cleaned up the area after finishing the job. The price was reasonable.

They were able to come out the next day after I reached out to them. Two people came. They were polite and efficient. I was provided with an estimate in advance and they came in a bit under.

This is the company to hire. They do great work at a competitive price. We are always pleased with their customer service too. They always clean up the work site afterwards. They have done residential work for us at different locations, and we would recommend them to anyone.

I hired Peter to replace an electrical panel in my aunt's condo. He responded immediately, was professional, knowledgeable and very accommodating with his schedule so I could get the job done while my aunt was hospitalized. His team of two young men were extremely polite and neat and cleaned up so well that you would never have known they worked there. I would highly recommend and hire PW DiMasi Electrical again. They went above and beyond my expectations.

We're grateful to Peter DiMasi and his team for their quick response and professional, courteous service! We had an issue getting a new oven hooked up and were having a hard time finding someone reputable to do the work. We contacted Peter based on his reviews and he responded quickly. They extended the wiring to reach the existing junction box so that we finally had a working oven. The cost was reasonable and all our dealings with them were great.

It went well. I have hired this company before and they did a good job last time so I turned to them again. I originally hired a handyman to uninstall a broken ceiling fan and install a new one . Both units had lights. The lights on the broken fan worked but the fan did not. When the handyman completed his work the new fan worked but the lights did not. He tried to fix it but couldn't. He said the wiring in my ceiling was the problem and I needed and electrician. I hired P.W.DiMasi who sent 2 electricians out to investigate the problem. They found there was nothing wrong with the wiring in my house but rather that the fan was NOT wired correctly by the handyman. Also the fan was NOT installed correctly using the correct rated electrical box to support the weight of the fan. They removed the fan, installed the correct rated fan box, reinstalled the fan and wired it correctly. Then they checked all the screws on the fan to be sure they were correctly tightened, balanced and tested everything. When they were done everything worked perfectly. The electricians were professional, polite and respectful and easy to work with. They even vacuumed the floor when they were done. I will definitely use this company in the future when I need electrical work done.

I could not be more pleased with DiMasi Electric. We were having an issue with some outlets in our kitchen. The DiMasi team was super responsive from our initial inquiry through completion of the job. As soon as I explained the issue, they knew how to solve it, and when they arrived exactly on time a few days later, had it fixed in an hour. They were also very upfront about pricing and came in well below the estimate they provided us. DiMasi will be our first call the next time we need electrical help!

Peter is a professional! I got a few quotes and while Peter's wasn't the lowest, I could tell he takes pride in his work and would make sure the job was done correctly. On the scheduled date, he and two workers showed up on time and got to work. The work we had done included installing a fan brace, medallion, and chandelier in our living room, installing a medallion over a chandelier in our guest bedroom, and installing a medallion on a chandelier 20+ feet up (that required two ladders and a plank straddling a staircase). The guys worked fast and once the hard stuff was done, Peter left it to his guys to clean and wrap it up (which is good because Peter's hourly rate is higher than his workers). Overall, was very satisfied with their work and will be hiring them again for my electrical needs.

Very pleasant folks and they were neat. However they only finished a portion of the job and have repeatedly put us off and have never finished the work.

I was looking to have some work done on my condo and was hoping to use people from the Waltham area as I wanted to support local businesses and came across PW DiMasi Electric here. Peter and his team were excellent. He was very responsive and scheduled an appointment to give the estimate pretty quickly. When he came to give me the estimate for my living room he mentioned that I should probably also have my dining room light rewired as the building my condo is in is very old so more than likely the wiring was old and not in good shape. At first I thought he might be trying to drum up some extra business (because of bad past experiences with contractors) because my job was so small (it's worth mentioning that Peter was one of the few electricians that I could actually get to come to look at the job in person to give me an estimate, the others I called said the job was too small and not worth their time) but once he took the dining room light down it turns out he was absolutely right about the wiring. I am so glad he was so insistent about replacing it. His guys came right after the plasterer took the ceiling down so it would cost me less to have the work done but unfortunately because of the insulation that was in my attic they couldn't drill holes in the lath for the wiring and boxes so his guys had to go up into the attic which at the time (it was July) was boiling hot . They were always very polite and respectful of my home and did a great job cleaning up after themselves every day. They also always came when they said they would. Peter checked in every few days to be sure I was happy with the work being done. I would not hesitate to recommend using DiMasi electrical and should the need arise in the future, I would use them again.

This company was a class act. Peter was very responsive, communicated clearly throughout all of the process, and cleared time off his team's schedule to replace our box and badly worn cables because he thought it was a serious safety hazard. It went very well. They discovered some problems with existing wiring and fixed them.

The person did the work did a great job. The new panel is larger than the old ones I was concerned that they would leave holes in the wall that would need to be patched and painted, but the person that did the work did a great job. No holes, no scratches and he cleaned up afterwards. Would definitely hire again

The workers came the next day right at the exact time they said they would. They were professional and polite, and fixed my problem within a half-hour. They found it was a bad, outdated outlet and replaced it quickly. Then they called the next day to make sure everything was working fine. I will definitely use them again!

Peter DiMasi and I stayed in touch by phone to insure the work was done to my satisfaction since I was not on the property. I trusted his technicians by leaving a key on the property, and it was returned to its original location, Peter knows his craft and I have used him/his crew on other occasions. He is usually quite responsive to initial contact by e-mail or phone.

Peter DiMasi and his team accomplished all the work in one day. They were neat and did a wonderful job of minimizing openings in the walls for the wiring. They did a wonderful job of opening the walls within closets which also minimized the impact of the work on the house. They did a great job! I highly recommend Peter DiMasi.

Peter was responsible for all of the electrical work in our house for a major renovation several years ago. His advice and work has stood the test of time so when we needed an electrician to install our new boiler and add lights in the basement, we called PW Dimasi. Peter and his team showed up promptly, worked efficiently, and communicated with us throughout to provide options and understand our priorities. They were also flexible enough to take a look at a problem I was having with internet range (which was not part of the original scope of work) and quickly provide a solution.

These guys always do a great job. Pete, the owner, stays on top of everything, and he has a knack for hiring people who do good work. There are also always professional, friendly and easy to work with. On more than one occasion, they have gone above and beyond to help me out and make sure things are right. In one case, the general contractor for a project we were working on disappeared and Pete was instrumental in helping me clear some of the city inspections (like the smoke detectors) that the GC left hanging. I know that sometimes people have trouble reaching Pete, and I know why. I have personally never had that happen, so I gave them an A on responsiveness based on my own experience, but if you do have trouble getting ahold of them and you can afford to wait a week or two and try again, your patience will be rewarded. The prices charged are reasonable: fair, but not low. If you're determined to find the cheapest electricians in the area, I'm sure Angie's List can help with that but you're on the wrong page at the moment. Since bad wiring can burn down my house with me inside, I'd rather skip the cheapest and get the best guys I can find. These are them.
