The provider was very flexible about setting up an appointment with short notice. The provider arrived on-time and did an inspection of the home. They took extra time to explain the issues and the treatment, and will be coming back for a follow-up visit (included in the deal) in a few weeks.

It didn't go. I would never recommend them. Ever.

It went very well, they came and installed the stations without any issues. The tech (Paul) did a great job explaining what he was doing and how it works. He answered all questions we had and seemed to truly care about what he was doing and the quality of work. It went so well we have hired them to do regularly scheduled pest control services and they've been great. As far as pricing, the sentricon system was significantly less than what other companies would charge (due to the Angies List Deal) and their regular scheduled pest services is on the lower end of what we were quoted by other companies. We are extremely happy with them and would recommend them for sure.

They returned my call. If you call, they just put in a couple of traps in the yard. It worked.

Perfect. Tenant in a rental unit called and had concerns about possible bed bug. Called NW Pest and they sent someone out the next day. Found no bugs. Put 2 traps to attract if any and came back in about a week. Nothing. Brad accomodated my work schedule both times. He even came out on the Holiday for 2nd visit. Outcome great and service was great. We signed up for the annual plan, as a preventive measure to avoid pest invasion during the winter. The technician arrived on time, was very nice and did a good job. It took less then an hour overall.

I purchased the deal on 09/02/2015. Dave came out to assess whether a taller ladder was necessary; it was not. He said that I did not need to stay home for them to get the job done. In the morning of 09/11/2015 the ladder and traps were still in place but by the afternoon the area was clear. The traps were gone and the soffit was completely covered with mesh so no more squirrels or other creatures could chew into the space. The service was seamless and professional, and there was no inconvenience to me or anyone else in this three-family house. I recommend this company unconditionally.

Update on 8.28.2015 I spoke with the owner about the issue, and he said that it was a misunderstanding by the receptionist. The intent was always to continue to provide service for the 3 month period for which I paid the $90. It made sense, he called the same day to explain the situation and he made it right. Issues always come up, but it's the response to those issues that separate companies that focus on the customer. Review on Aug 28, 2015 I had contracted with NW Pest Control for an annual service which renews in the first week of September. I canceled my service on August 27th, but when I called on Aug 28th, I was informed that I owed $90. I paid with a credit card, but when I inquired as to reason for the charge, I was informed that I owed for the 1st quarter of the contract renewal (from Sep - Nov). I asked if I would still be provided with pest control service during that time, and was told "No". Basically, either they should charge for the upcoming 3 months and provide the service, or they should refund the $90 and not provide the service. But, they can't charge $90 and still not provide the service. The owner of NW Pest Control is supposed to call back, and I'll provide an update to the review if the situation is resolved.

We had a serious ant problem in my house. The service provider came to the house when he said he would. We walked the property, and he showed me where the ants were, and what I could do to minimize their impact once the service had been performed (we had some piles of sand/dirt that he recommended we smooth out). He was incredibly prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. A couple of weeks after the service was performed, the ants started coming back, as he said they would. He came back a few weeks ago, and we haven't had any ants since. For the same yearly price, they'll come back to take care of our mouse problem in the fall, and will return any time we have a recurring ant issue. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. HIGHLY recommend this company.

We submitted a photo for online identification on NW Pest's website of a possible carpenter ant infestation in our home. NW Pest contacted us within the day as we had submitted the info over the weekend. They confirmed that it was carpenter ants over the phone but still scheduled a representative to come for a free onsite assessment to quote. As a comparison, other pest control companies we contacted simply stated a base price for carpenter ants and didn't bother sending anyone onsite to do an initial assessment. We weren't comfortable without getting a written quote and were happy NW Pest did this as part of their initial customer engagement. The representative sent for the assessment was Dave Martin who I believe is also one of their supervisors handling animal control. Our appointment window was for the early morning and he was prompt, showing up about right in the middle of the window after servicing an earlier case. We showed him all the problem areas we had seen the ants and he gave us a very detailed explanation of the chemicals (including Termidor for the exterior) and application method that he proposed using. As we had an infestation that was very likely from a nest inside one of our walls, he was upfront about the possible need to drill some holes into the wall from the inside and out in order to get better application points. We understood this and indicated that he should do what was necessary to get an effective application. We scheduled the appointment for the following weekend and requested that Dave be the representative to execute the application if possible since we had gone over all the details with him. He was available and the whole application took about 45 minutes to an hour. He did have to drill into the wall as expected and gave us a frank assessment that we likely had some water infiltration by a window which had lead to the environment that the ants preferred. While applying the exterior chemicals, he also found a wasp nest in our porch crawlspace and promptly dealt with that as well. We waited the 4-6 weeks to determine the efficacy of the application before writing this review and are happy to say that we haven't seen a single ant in the house since. The service cost $285 but we applied a $35 off coupon from their website. We did decide to purchase their quarterly maintenance plan for the upcoming year at $85 as we believe the infestation had not been dealt with adequately by the previous owner of our home and we wanted the option to have additional treatments just in case for the near term. Overall we were very satisfied with the service of the NW Pest representatives and the results of the service.

The NW Pest Control team was great! They responded to my Angie's List request within a few hours. They guys who showed up to do the work were very professional, informative, and answered all of my wife's questions. They took care of the wasp nests in no time, explained next steps, and even fixed the window so that bees/wasps could not get in again. I would definitely recommend them to other clients!

House sprayed 7/11 for silverfish. Thought resolved until one appeared 7/30. Called 7/31 to request a return visit They explained they were short staffed and could not come on the weekend of 8/1. I understand this, yet it would have been helpful if they could have accommodated a weekend visit, seeing as I immediately purchased a one year plan right from the start (give and take/customer service). Mostly, however I am so not happy to see re-appearance of the bugs in less than one month since the initial spray - - which makes me think that either a) the spraying was not thorough enough, b) not powerful enough or c) not the right approach. Another pest company recently I called yesterday for input indicated that they use spray, gel and dust. I plan to discuss this with NW (why they did not do this the first time), when they return on 8/7 to re-treat. My home is immaculate and has never had bugs up until recently (I am the first and only owner of nearly 6 years with no prior record of bugs, until within the last 5 months) - therefore I'd assume this should be resolvable by a professional company. No leaks, and a dry home with constant AC and dry air. If I see repeat bugs after the second spray, I will be seeking a different exterminator, as I'd expect resolution. I selected NW as they appeared to have many very positive reviews on Angie's list, however my confidence is somewhat shaken at this point - - less than effective result and no ability to accommodate a faster weekend return visit (the spraying only took 5-10 minutes the first time on the interior). Hoping this can work on the second time as I hate bugs and am totally disturbed by this. I hope NW can resolve the situation fully as they appear to have done for may customers, assuming the Angie updates are true.

I needed a second treatment for the beetle bugs and spiders. Have not had any problems since thattreatment was applied. They did explain to me at the first visit that it may require a repeat treatment. They were punctual and courteous. Overall very happy with the service and since I purchased an ongoing contract I feel good that treatments will be ongoing and that I can call when I have a problem.

He baited our house with traps and then sprayed the outside for ants. We'll see what happens with the mice, but he was confident our issue would be taking care of and by signing up for the quartly treatment, our traps will be continuously rebaited to keep the mice away.

Andrew was on-time and reasonably priced. After a 20 minute inspection, could not find any fleas.

Representative who arrived at home was timely and professional. I purchased the annual plan (4 quarterly treatments). It is early to tell if this works, yet am hopeful.

The technician that performed the service arrived within the service window and called to let me know he would arrive approximately 30 minutes from the time of the call. He was able to answer all my questions and thoroughly explained the process. The entire service only took about 30 minutes or less from start to finish. The technician was friendly and courteous. My 3 young children and dog were home during the service and I was reassured that the product that would be used was made from organic materials and was safe. I would definitely recommend the company. As to how effective the treatment was I'm not quite sure as I was instructed it may take up to 5 weeks for the treatment to be fully effective.
