Excellent. Superb. I wish ALL contractors were as professional, clean and true to their word as Mike was on this job for me. Mike was hired to remove two existing toilets and replace with new, water efficient toilets. I had an idea about what I wanted, but also sought info from Mike on his experience and opinion. He was very professional and didn't try to sway me - gave me just the facts and info on his experience. He arrived on time as arranged, wrapped the old toilets in special bags so they could sit in my home until someone could pick them up. (Mike would have done this for a fee, but I found someone else to take them away for less money.) Both bathrooms and the pathways leading to them were left spotless.

Renovations are always more complex and time-consuming than one hopes. Unlike the General Contractor, Mike was very careful about managing expectations and estimating his time. In retrospect, I should have based our calendar on Mike's estimates instead of the GC's. I had a number of problems with plumbing supplies and having fixtures delivered. Mike did his best to adjust his schedule to install items as they arrived, while also dodging the rest of the renovation work. Although it required active negotiation on my part, Mike was never the cause of a delay. MIke's final bill was slightly higher than the estimate due to us expanding the number of fixtures.

Mike has to be my dream contractor. I say this because along every step of the way, Mike kept in constant contact both via email and by phone. He's probably the most punctual person I've ever met. I called Mike and left an initial message and he called me back about two days later to schedule a time to come give me an estimate. He kept calling me on his way to the house (which was on a Tuesday) to give me updates on his location. I so appreciated this. Anyway, he looked at the problem area and told me that he'd get back to me at the end of the week or the beginning of the next week with an estimate. I love the "under promise/over deliver" stuff because he actually got me an estimate by the next morning, via email, with my Angieslist discount clear and accounted for (which, by the way, I didn't even mention). Yes, I told him I found him through Angieslist but he provided the discount on my estimate. Anyway, he, too, had an opening quickly and came to the house on the following Wednesday, August 19, to complete the work. Though I haven't yet seen it, my husband says it's gorgeous and now makes the rest of the bathroom look bad (yea!). I would definitely use Mike again...and again...and again.

When I called Mike, he got back to me the next day. I explained the work I needed done and he scheduled it within a few days. He arrived when promised and did a great job. I would definetly use his services again.

I gave Mike a call since our normal plumber does not check messages on the weekend. He got back to me within a few hours and was out shortly thereafter. Mike was able to fix the boiler with supplies in his truck. While there, he found a small gas leak. He took the time to show it to me, as well as to describe what he had fixed in the first place. He called the next day, as promised, to set up a time to come fix the leak the next week. Mike was very friendly and prompt, and I would definitely recommend him.

Mike Richard did a great job replacing the old sink with the new sink and faucet. He spent the whole afternoon working on it. At the end he cleaned up everything so well that you could not tell he was there! I was very pleased with the results. It looks great! He possessed very good workmanship, had a very nice personality, cleaned up after himself very well and also provided me with a phone number for a general contractor he works with for future work in my house.

I reached out to Mike after we started having problems with our shower drain. He responded to my e-mail fairly quickly with a potential date that he had available which was approximately 2 weeks out. When I told Mike that our problem was getting worse (by the hour it seemed!!) he agreed to come by that week. He showed up promptly, we discussed the things I wanted him to look at and he immediately went to work. He fixed the drain issue and then proceeded to our basement to have a look at our heating system as I'd been looking for someone to help me come up with ideas for childproofing the baseboard heaters. While he was in our basement, he not only checked out the heaters but he also looked at a potential water leak (which he determined was old). This was the second time that we had used Mike's services and we were very pleased. He is very professional and prompt which I appreciate as my husband and I both have incredibly busy schedules. After Mike finished both jobs that we hired him for, he sent e-mails which contained a receipt for the work performed as well as ideas on other things we discussed (childproofing baseboard heaters, etc.). I would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a plumber. He's great.

Scheduled appointment. Plumber showed up during appointment window and performed work as requested. Work is high-quality and neat.

He did a very good job. He was very easy to talk too and he knew what he was doing. I felt like I could trust him and he wasn't going to do anything that wasn't necessary. I felt like he knew what he was talking about. he made sure to keep very neat and clean up after himself.

We couldn't be more pleased with the work Mike did, and his willingness to help us out with some additional problems in the house. He is a delight to work with, arrived promptly every day, and was great with our dog! I would definitely hire him again.

He was very professional. He was on time and was very efficient. When I came contacted him, he returned my phone calls and he came out as quick as he could.

Mike was very courteous and pleasant to deal with. He called before he came, to let us know he was on his way. After investigation done by walking around the house and looking at what was vented through the roof, he determined the vent pipe in question was for the toilet in our second floor bathroom which had been renovated many years earlier. To determine whether it was active or dead meant opening up walls - first in the attic stairwell and possibly also in the stairwell between the first and second floors. He clearly communicated the possibilities and work that would need to be done in each case. Fortunately, it was a dead vent pipe and he was able to determine that with a rather small hole in the attic stairwell. He removed the vent pipe, cleaned up after himself, and very neatly covered the hole with wide tape until we could do a permanent repair to the wall. The repairs to the faucet and toilet were done efficiently, and he cleaned up after himself. We have recommended him to our son and daughter-in-law who have just recently become homeowners in the area.

The price was right and their service was great. They explained what they were doing the whole way through and they were easy to work with. They made a replacement with a quality material that is dependable. They also helped us out with another problem and were thorough and knowledgeable.

I left a message for Mike regarding a plumbing job. I wanted to remove a sewer waste pipe that was protruding from the foundation. Mike returned my call the next day and left a message explaining his company does not do that kind of work. I appreciated the call back.

I engaged Mike because I recently had shoulder surgery and could not do it myself. Mike estimated the job for us, bought the replacement part and came back to install it a few days later. I was impressed by his thorough and careful work, and his flexibility in working around some schedule glitches on my side. He treated my home as he would his. Since I dislike plumbing to begin with, I am certain we will have him back again.

Mike did a great job! He emailed a quote a couple days after checking out the job and his pricing was very reasonable. He was very responsive and flexible throughout the project, and obviously takes pride in his work. He was always accommodating to our various rescheduling requests, such as the vanity top arrived later than expected, causing him to have to juggle his schedule for the sink hook up.

We had previously tried to adjust the flapper and were unsuccessful another plumbing house wanted to sell us a new toilet. Mike made several tries at adjusting the mechanism and was willing to try even more when I asked about replacing the valves. He gave me a price and did the job with parts from his truck. He was meticulous regarding cleaning up and taking care of our bathroom while he was working. (he put down a pad, brought in paper towels etc.) He carefully checked for any possible leak after completing the job and did replace a seal that he had installed when it leaked a small bit.

Mike responded to my email promptly, scheduled a time, and arrived when he said he would. This sink repair was done in less than 30 minutes, and the bathroom too longer due to difficulty finding a part. Some demo of tile was necessary to fix the bathtub. Mike was a surgeon at removing the tile, and temporarily replaced it in a way that isn't awful. He is not a tile guy, only a plumber - so I was impressed. He cleaned up very well. Would use him again.

The estimate and job went very well. Mike responded to my initial call, arranged to come out for an estimate, e-mailed me a detailed invoice, and did the job. He did all these things without prompting or fuss. Well done.
