It went fairly smoothly as we were able to completely move out. Conor was very helpful in suggesting colors for the walls when I was at a loss of what colors to use to do the bedroom and kitchen. When the kitchen was completed I did not like the color at first because it was a color I would not have chosen. I was going to have it repainted but once I had the place cleaned up, I really liked the color. There were some items that were not painted that I wanted painted but when I contacted Conor he saw to it that it was done fairly soon after. Conor is the kind of person that I felt I had known for a long time. He is very trusting. He was also very responsive and would not leave us hanging, always on top of the situation at hand. The job was a tedious process due to all the detail work involved and in the end we were very very pleased.

Simply great experience, no hassle. 1. Conor responded quickly to my estimate request and accommodated my time as much as he could 2. The quote was put together fast and detailed. He communicates very closely with me and we had the quote settled fast. 3. Job is done in two days, as promised. The color matching is Perfect! 4. After the walk-through, I spotted a few tiny issues and he offered free fix on the same day. Conclusion: I'm gonna contract him again for sure for the exterior.

I couldn't have been happier with my experience. Conor is a pleasure to work with. He says his customers' satisfaction is his primary concern, and it shows. He responded promptly to all email and phone communications. In-person communication was equally good: "this is what we're going to do today;" "this is what we're doing now," "this is what we did" -- and always "does that look OK to you?" The quality of the paint job was excellent. The two crew members who joined Conor on the job were also a pleasure to work with, and they were very efficient. Clean-up at the end of each day and at the end of the job was all one could ask for. The crew adjusted their work hours slightly to accommodate my schedule. And the price was very competitive. I will definitely use Conor for any painting jobs in the future, and am happy to give him my highest recommendation.

Conor arrived promptly at 6 PM on a weeknight to perform a walkthru for a painting quote. He took his time and provided valuable feedback. The job entailed trim, walls and ceilings for 3 bdrms, dining, family and living room, 1 full bath, hallways and stairway plus 3 closets. Conor followed up with calls and was available if I had any questions. Even though Conor's quote was a little higher than some of the contract bids, I knew we would get what we paid for........and then some. I would not hesitate at all to call Conor in the future.

Conor is an outstanding painter. His work was absolutely meticulous. He performed the job while I was away on a business trip and I returned home to a house that looked better than I had left it. I know that drywall repairs generate a lot of dust...but Conor's left absolutely no evidence. Not only was my ceiling repaired to perfection, but the wall painting was absolutely perfect. He corrected all of the flaws left by the previous painter as well as repairing the caulking around the baseboards/moulding. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

It was spectacular. He is on time, explains each the plan for each day and communicates how they did at the end of each day. He and his crew are very neat and clean up entirely each day. Really one of the best service providers we have had in the 11 years living in this home. I would recommend him unconditionally!

Conner is amazing. Professional, punctual, funny and amazing what he and his team do. The best painter and painting company i've ever worked with. I recommend him to anyone who wants an interior paint job done. His expertise in the area guided us thru the process of a large and challenging "total makeover" of a traditional tudor with beams to whitewashed look and feel. This is the third time that I've used McKeever's services and the third uniquely different application. My wife and I used McKeever the first time to repaint a small condominium that we were preparing for sale. Then we used them again to paint several rooms in the new home that we bought. My wife did write a prior review of that experience under this account. This job was in yet a third location. I leased new offices in a historical 100+ year-old building. The building was painted on the interior from top to bottom in a sickly pale yellow color - trim and walls both. Conor's team painted the entire office, both walls and trim. They did prep work on the walls and window sills and heavy prep work on rusted baseboard heating units. Conor made some good on-the-fly decisions about how to handle some tricky painting of historic crown moulding. The end result is stunning and my offices are the envy of other tenants in the building. I literally notice what this paint job did to improve the space at least once a week, if not daily. On top of the quality, Conor is responsive and communicative. He went out of the way to ensure this job was done to his exacting specifications prior to departure for a vacation that he had planned around the same time. My wife and I both highly recommend McKeever Painting & Contracting.

Conor was very professional and reliable. His work was excellent, and his price was fair. We didn't worry for an instant that he wouldn't take good care of our furniture which had to be moved. He paid close attention to the small details, which made the rooms look great once he had finished. We have previously used average painters and the difference between Conor and his competition is remarkable. We would highly recommend him.

We hired Conor primarily for an interior painting job at our 3 bedroom condo in Cambridge. Conor also helped connect us to an electrician at the last minute because the electrician we had originally hired didn't work out. Both Conor and the electrician were friendly, tidy, straightforward, and completed the job as agreed upon. My wife and I just bought this condo and a couple of unexpected things came up during the job that Conor helped us take care of. For example, one bedroom needed a door and he cut one to size, painted it, and installed it as part of the job. Conor updated us on progress routinely as the job progressed and he was very responsive to phone calls. We would definitely hire him again. The price was reasonable and he also helped steer us in the right direction for picking paint colors.

The entire process exceeded my expectations. Conor and his team were very professional and the final product was excellent. The project included skim coating multiple walls due to previous poor in-filling of a doorway and the effects of horse-hair plaster. Conor even consulted on color selections.The final product came out beautifully with smooth walls and beautiful color.

Conor was definitely upfront about the amount of work this job entailed and gave a competitive quote. I got a good feeling when I met with him that he was someone who cared about his work and would stand by it. He was flexible with my schedule and quickly addressed the two rooms that had to be done first (the MBR and Hallway) as we were displaced until they were finished. The other work was done the following week and the crew cleaned up well. After the work was completed my wife and I did a walkthrough and found a number of items that were missed (such as a piece of trim that was not painted) or not done to our satisfaction. Conor agreed with our assessment and was quick to fix all the items. I was very satisfied with Conor and would hire him again.

Never got a callback, no work done..

Conor called back within a day or two of my first call to him and came to provide an estimate quickly. He provided three references also quickly. He provided his price on the spot when he came to my house and followed up soon after via email with a written price and terms. He was helpful and decisive about the best type of paint to use for each part of the job. When I called sign him up, I mentioned the Angies List coupon that would reduce the price by $100, or the senior discount that would reduce it by $50. Conor said he thought the $100 coupon had expired, ignored the senior discount and said he'd take $30 off his quote. So I accepted that. Later, I checked and saw that the Angies List coupon was still valid for another 9 months. But his price seemed fair to me, his references were very enthusiastic, and I decided not to make an issue of it. I do, however, believe that companies with Angies List coupons or stated discounts should honor them, or no one will take them seriously. I had to coordinate the painting work with electrical work and installation of a new carpet. I wanted the 3 types of work done back-to-back because of the disruption caused by having my clothes and other things removed from the bedroom, as well as having to sleep in a different place. Conor scheduled his work to accommodate my need. He and his assistant were very efficient and completed their job on schedule as promised. The work itself was pretty good, but somewhat uneven. The bedroom was done very well, without drips or flaws on the woodwork. The prep work was excellent and the cleanup was mostly thorough. But all the vertical surfaces in the closet were left with the fine white dust from sanding or plastering still on them, and I had to get a step ladder and clean it all up myself before I could put my clothes back. The same happened in the bathroom. About 4 inches of the window sill were rough from being painted over while some dusty particle material was still on it. I sanded, cleaned and repainted it myself. I also had to clean fingermarks of white paint off one bathroom light fixture, a doorknob, a sink faucet and about five drops of white paint off the tiled floor. I had asked that the two bathroom lightswitch plates be painted with semi-gloss (easier to keep clean over time), with the screws not painted on. But one wasn't painted at all and the other had two partial brush strokes of paint on part of it. In sum, the bathroom and the closet were not inspected or cleaned up as thoroughly as was the bedroom. A few minutes of careful final inspection by Conor would have eliminated these things that marred the overall job.

They were very punctual and polite when they gave me a call back for an initial inquiry. I was very impressed with their professionalism. We decided not to do the work now though.

Conor did a great job. He is not the least expensive painter, but his work is high quality.

The whole process was smooth and easy. Conor's estimate was lower than others I received. He provided an organized/professional quote, communicated well during the process, did excellent work and left the place spotless.

I HAD CONNOR AND HIS TEAM PAINT THE UNIT WHILE MY WIFE AND I WERE OUT OF STATE ON VACATION. WHEN WE RETURNED, THE UNIT WAS BEAUTIFULLY PAINTED. THERE WAS SOME TRIM THAT HAD NOT PAINTED THAT WAS NOT VISIBLE DURING THE INITIAL WALK-THROUGH AND QUOTE. I ASKED COONOR TO COME AND FINISH THE TRIM. WE AGREED ON $100 FOR THE EXTRA WORK, BUT HE DID NOT CHARGE ME AFTER ALL, STATING THAT HE HAD EXTRA PAINNT LEFT OVER FROM ANOTHER JOB. I HAVE ONLY ONE SMALL ISSUE. THE TWO SHOWER CURTAINS, PART OF THE CURTAIN ROD AND 2 PARTICLE BOARD SHELVES WERE PUT IN THE TUB AND LEFT THERE. BECAUSE THE FAUCET DRIPS, THE SHELVES AND CURTAINS WERE RUINED AND TUB WAS STAINED.

My older house has a lot of dark woodwork. I hadn't lived in this house for 14 years. Conor spent a lot of time talking to me about different options for the woodwork. I changed my mind several times and Conor was diplomatic about my vacillations. I needed to get the work done quickly....Conor and his crew got the job done in record time and did great work. I was very impressed with the work they did and how efficient they were. Also, the price was very competitive!

Conor was very flexible and finished the job on time, despite some setbacks on our end. He also surprised us by painting our master bath free of charge! A wonderful painter, very professional, kept us up to date and helped with color selection. Highly recommend!

Conor came in on time and on budget. I found him to be very friendly and honest in his dealings. His team of painters was very polite, unobtrusive, cleaned up after themselves and performed good work in only a few days. Everything was as agreed and when I called for a couple of touch ups they were done within the day. Very highly recommend!

Conor and his crew were very professional. Conor kept me informed about how the job was going throughout the day and explained different things about the paint, number of coats of paint required, cracks in the walls, etc. The painters fix the cracks, moved furniture away from the walls and put them back when done, removed and reinstalled the fixtures, and made sure to clean up everything. I greatly appreciated this. I would definitely use his company again.

Conor was very professional and easy to work with. He showed up on time, both for the estimate and the actual work; kept in touch with us regularly, and was amazingly quick in turning around the project from the time we contacted him. The painting work was well done. Out of all the contractors we spoke with, Conor was the only one that pointed out the smoke stains on our ceiling and how they could be remedied. His crew even painted the baseboards of the heating unit. The apartment looks fantastic. It was a pleasure dealing with Conor. We would definitely use his company again.

Conor was flexible, punctual and very much involved in supervision as well as painting himself. The crew cleaned up after themselves and were very careful of all furniture and fixtures in the area.

Conor was responsive, pleasant, and capable. The work was done quickly and well. One time, the crew left plaster pieces in the powder room sink; Conor was unaware that this had happened, but he took responsibility and discounted the final price to compensate us.
