JACK LEONARD

As I stated above, Jack did a great job and did a number of small repairs around the house. He was at my home for a few hours.

Jack is extremely competent, thoroughly dependable, totally professional, and reasonably priced. He's a pleasure to work with. We recently had our kitchen faucet fall off (!). In two hours, Jack was there and repaired the problem. Another time, we called for some help with another problem. Jack listened politely and suggested that a different -- and less expensive -- approach would work better. That was 4 years ago. His repair is still working perfectly.

He is a hard worker. He offers high quality work at a reasonable rate.

Mr. Leonard came promptly to take a look. He said there was no need to replace the rail, that he would clean out the rot, patch it with outdoor quality wood filler. I told him to go ahead; and he said he would go to a home improvement store to get a price on the material, and report back to me. I never heard from him again. I called him twice after that, left a message on his answering machine, and never got a call back. I understand that he would want to be reimbursed for his travel time, since it was a small job, and I would have agreed to that. Not even calling back to decline the job was bad manners.

He was understanding and helped us get it fixed quickly. He came over promptly and repaired it with plenty of time to spare.

Jack worked creatively and economically. His suggestions for the kitchen improved it. He was pleasant and tidy. He charges by the hour but his ballpark estimates were always in the ballpark.
