For a flat delivery fee, we received 2 shipments, one for the mulch, and another for the stone. Price and selection is fantastic. Generally calling 12-24 hours ahead is sufficient for getting exactly what you want. Our proximity to their location made delivery extremely quick. Note, do your research on their website before calling - the office seems like a very busy environment, so if you're expecting to have a conversation regarding ideal color and other landscape aesthetics, probably not the best use of your time or their time. For getting a great product fast and inexpensively, I could not be happier.

The company delivered gravel and stone dust. I called around to several places, including an aggregate manufacturing facility for estimates. Obviously the aggregate manufacturing facility had the best prices, but they did not have the resources to make small customer deliveries. Of all the other landscaping suppliers in and around Belmont, Waltham, Arlington, Jand J had the best price. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone knew his lanscaping stuff and took time to help me understand my options. Also, Jand J provided excellent customer service especially when it counts, which I think is key to picking a landscape supplier because if you don't like what you get, it's not like you can load your car up and return the stuff. I was initially disappointed with the gravel to stone-dust ratio that was delivered (hence the B grade on quality). They immediately (within the next 30 minutes) delivered additional gravel to make me a satsified and returning customer. I would give the resulting mix an A grade on quality but Angieslist doesn't have that option. Delivery times was also excellent. I was given a 7-10 AM window and I asked them to try and delivery towards the beginning of the time slot if they could. They arrived at 7:05 AM. Nice! So, overall, it's an A experience and I'm satisfied and looking forward to making more landscape purchases to finalize my driveway, walkways, and garden.
