The repair went really well. I was looking at replacing two air conditioner units. Instead, I was able to get them both repaired in a day. The employee's are very professional, and easy deal with. The company is also well run. This is not a fly by night operation. I will be a long term customer.

Genove Oil & Air recently installed central air conditioning in our home. This was a full install including duct work, the air handler and condenser unit. The men were reliable, proficient, meticulous and polite. We interviewed 5 companies, including 3 Carrier and 2 Lennox Dealers. Genove’s quote was not only extremely competitive, but Armando’s eye for detail and his sense of aesthetics were superior to the other companies. I highly recommend Genove Oil & Air without hesitation.

Excellent; ran out of oil in newly-purchased house, as we were unfamiliar with reading the oil tank gauge and did not know we were low. Genove stopped by same day to fill enough oil to last through the night and save us from freezing, then came back and filled the tank the next day.

Work went fine. Had some problems with the first appointment. They needed a 10 foot ladder and didn't have one with them (this despite the fact they've performed the same service before). Another appointment had to be made a month later. It wasn't urgent so this was ok, but still a hassle. Otherwise, service was good.

The noticed the condenser was not working. Cleaned it, replaced a part, replaced some freon. All good.
Description of Work: I called Genove during a heat wave with an AC that would not work. The coil was freezing up. My existing HVAC company would not give me an appt within a week and my kids and I were wilting in the near 90 heat and could not use the kitchen. I had house guests coming and dinner to cook and was in a very bad situatiion. Genove was SO nice & compassionate, and put me on their emergency schedule. They got someone out there in a few days and fixed the problem so I did not have to cancel my dinner and have a house guest sleeping in a 85 degree room. They kept their promises, and fixed the problem, and gave me advice on some non-urgent longer term issues they noticed. SO glad I found them. A reliable, prof'l, family owned company that cares about it's customers.

It has gone well for over fifteen years. I have rarely had to call them. When I have needed to call, they have been responsive. In 2000 I joined the Boston Oil Consumers Alliance (BOCA), (now called Mass Energy) to save money on heating oil. BOCA said the dealer would be Genove. Since then, Genove has consistently filled the oil tank before it ran out, and charged me the price negotiated by Mass Energy. Genove has also done annual service on the oil burner. During a big home renovation, they inspected the oil tank and convinced us that it was in good shape and need not be replaced. When a new porch covered the oil fill point, they installed piping to relocate it.
Description of Work: Genove has supplied heating oil, done annual service on the oil burner, and installed some piping to move the oil tank fill point.

I was happy with the introductory offer they had for new customers. The price was competitive. The yearly servicing I had on the boiler itself also went well. The technician took the time to explain how my system works and gave me tips on things I could do to maintain it. Very friendly overall.

They are always prompt and professional. My father-in-law has oil through another company and I follow oil prices every couple of years. Their prices always are competitive and usually lower than others in the area. We've never had a problem if there is an urgent issue with getting it addressed the same day. We have a service contract and that has worked very well for two decades. We have been very satisfied with them on all aspects of our relationship with them.
Description of Work: We have had Genove for oil and burner service for 25 years. We had a new heating system installed by them 14 years ago; it continues to work well. We have yearly service for them. We've had them deal with several emergencies (mainly valve and circulator issues).

They've been my oil service for at least 10 years and also maintain my burner. I have them out once a year for maintenance. This year about midway between maintenances it was making a weird noise, but when they came out, of course it would not make the noise. So I waited until the noise came back, took a video and put it on my private YouTube channel. They seemed amused by my video and they were able to immediately identify the problem and come back and fix the issue. I like them b/c I have never run out of oil with them and they respond promptly on the rare occasion that there is a problem.

It's a boiler system that is very complicated. They came out and checked everything. They suggested some parts be replaced in a short amount of time. One of which they replaced in the air compressor. They topped it off with coolant. We then went on a contract with them.
