He provided a reasonable estimate. They had a lot of people in front of us, so it took them awhile to get to us. They did let us know that we would have to wait. Once they did get to us, they took care of everything. They did a good job!

Both companies responded promptly and came to give us an estimate promptly.

It couldn't have gone better. Doug was very responsive to our initial call, quickly scheduling a time to meet. He had an advantage in that we'd used his company 15 years ago on another house. He gave us a thorough review and estimate. We had begun with a plan to reshingle the roof, but he was able to create a combined project of roof and new siding, etc that was very reasonable. In trying to determine colors, his office was always quick to respond via email. They gave us locations of homes in the area where they had used the siding colors we were considering. All of the details of the work were clearly articulated and delivered, from the date when the trash container would arrive to the date it would be pulled; to describing the steps and what we needed to do to prepare ourselves. The crew amazed the neighborhood with their speed and professionalism. Within 10 ten days the entire project was done to our satisfaction. We called about the inevitable small details and they quickly corrected them. The place looks great! and the cleanup was perfect.

They are very good, they are excellent. They did a great job, one of the best companies I have ever worked with. They are a great company, extremely reliable, and they came when they said they would come. I don’t feel that they overcharged us, they gave us a few options in the sense of what we should get done, but they made sure that what we have done will definitely take care of what the issue was, that was going on in the building. They were fast, they came in, did the work, and they left, then somebody came back and checked to make sure that it was done. They were very fair, they only asked a certain percentage up front, and the balance due after they had finished the work. They were very professional. I have been in the day care business for twenty years and I’ve always had problems with the people that I work with. They overcharge me, or they don’t do what they say they are going to do, but with this company, I was really happy. My husband had asked me to check Angie’s List to try and find somebody honest and reliable, so that was a great resource, now I whenever I look for someone, I look down Angie’s List. It’s so hard to find people that are reliable now. I would definitely use them again if needed.

I received three quotes from roofers listed on Angie's List. EM Snow (Doug) came over and evaluated the job. I selected EM Snow based on the price and the promise that they would finish the job before Thanksgiving. If I had any questions, they had a customer service representative that was very knowledgeable and helpful ( Lauren) . Most of our communication was e-mail, some phone. She kept me updated on everything pertaining to my job, and she actually suggested the color of my roof and I am very happy with it. The work was quality and the clean up was good, and completed before Thanksgiving. My neighbors say it looks great!

I don’t recall how much he charged us for his service but I felt that it was reasonable at the time. It wasn’t on the high side. The only thing that I remember was that, the guy was pretty interesting. He was brash but he actually did a pretty good job. The roof is not leaking anymore and it’s holding up well. I didn’t get other estimates and so I couldn’t compare his prices. I think it was just reasonable and he did good quality work. He was a good man working for that. I had no problems with his punctuality. He knows his trade. We had a hurricane out there and I had to get him, but he was really busy. So he couldn’t respond and I had to get somebody else. He sent his crew without him as soon as he could because there was a lot of rain damage and roof damage. So I don’t really know and I can’t blame him I guess. We will use his services again in the future.

They are fast and professional and they do a good job. They clean up after themselves. The windows have been holding up good so far. We had some framing issues and so they had to reschedule and came out promptly and took care a window that was actually ordered incorrectly. They took care of all that for us and we had no problems with them. We had used them before and will definitely be using them in the future.

We have Used EM Snow twice in the last year. Initially, we used them through a "Mass Save" program, where they were more helpful than the plan administrators. On the second installation, they were efficicient, helpful, and professional and timely. They even gave a rebate for a portion of the work that didnt need to be done. On the First instance - last fall , Doug came out and discussed the types of windows, the features, and what energy ratings were needed for the MA rebates. He was professional, timely and easy to reach (or the office admin Lauren) so we went ahead with 15 windows. After discussing the installation timing they were willing to put in additional time to get hte job done within one day, instead of the proposed 1.5 days. During the installation, Jerry one of the installers, noticed that one of my sills needed replacing, and just went ahead and replaced it. Later on the other installer, noticed a few chipped tiles in the bathroom around the window and offered to refrain the new window with Azek (some plastic-type planking). He made a clean frame that was sealed and caulked, looking good. We liked the workmanship and installation so much that we contracted for another install this summer. Second Instance - I emailed Lauren and she responded immediately, we scheduled a consultation visit that was late in the day to avoid taking off from work. Doug was professional and even brought the older contract so we could match windows, and additional work. He was thorough in the estimate and gave good advice on weatherization for one of the windows we had thought of replacing, which he stated didn't need it as it was a heavily muttoned window. We contracted for the installation of 10 windows a few new sills, and another bathroom framing of Azek. I received an email from Lauren, and we scheduled the new windows for that Friday. On Friday, Arty and another gentleman showed up at 8:00 promptly and discussed the job, then bagen to perform the install. They were very professional, consciencous of our interior, clean, and rebuilt two of the window frames that they stated were not "going to last 20 years." Additionally, I was asked if I wanted the Azek, because thy could replace the window more cleanly without the need for the reframing. The team finished all 10 windows in 5 hours, with 4 new sills, and two new exterior frames. When I called to pay, I thanked them for the installation quickness and quality mentioning how great it was to have the Azek option, and was told that hey will look into reducing the proce, since the install didnt use it. Ended up getting money taken off the contract. I will use them again.

They did a great job on the roof and left the site completely cleaned up. The work was part of a P&S agreement, so we needed a quick estimate and then quick execution when the time was right. EM Snow provided both.

They seemed fine. They didn't do anything wrong, but they didn't do anything above or beyond the call of duty.

Fantastic experience! Much better than any other contractor I've worked with. They were punctual, completed the work in a timely fashion, and conscientious. Any issue I raised with the office manager, was addressed immediately. The price estimated was the price I paid at the end.

They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. They did what they had to do. They were affordable.

They were punctual for the estimate, and did not try to oversell the job by replacing the sheathing. Once we confirmed they put us on their schedule and told us they would give us a two day warning for when the work would start. This turned into a one day warning, but was not a big deal. The work was done very quickly - they estimated one day, and it was done in one day. The yard and driveway were clean (no shingle scraps or roofing nails).

Doug Snow was very fast to come out and estimate the job and provide a price on the spot with a follow letter the next day. He gave me an estimate of how long the windows would take to be made and when installation would occur. The windows came in earlier than expected and installation was performed earlier than anticipated. Installation was completed in less than a day as said. I was a bit disappointed in the mess the installer left, some finishing nails and various pieces of insulation. This was particularly concerning due to the fact that two of the rooms receiving the new windows were my childrens' rooms and he knew that. Also, some of the existing trim/molding was damaged during the process but that is to be expected and perhaps I should have investigated what is done in those cases and if I could have requested additional finish work at an increased price or something. Overall I was satisfied with the work they performed, the price, and the end result. If I use them again, I will be up front about my issues with the lack of clean up from this job though.

It was a really solid job. They were effective and the place looks great. They were prompt, courteous, and pleasant. They took their time and did the job right.

I would have thought that they would have removed the gutters before they did the job. They did damage them, but was willing to come back out to repair them. I thought that they did a good job roofing and cleaning up.

Doug from EM Snow came out and gave me an estimate. He arrived exactly as scheduled to give me the estimate, which was by far the lowest I had received. The windows were ordered and came in sooner than expected. Jerry from EM Snow came out and replaced all the windows in one day and did clean up/removal of old windows. Was really a great experience.
