From start to finish, we were very pleased with this company. When the owner came out to give us an estimate, we found Doug to be very professional, helpful and pleasant. The work was done on schedule, and the workers were diligent and skilled. Also, the communication was great due to the office manager, Lauren, who was very responsive and professional. The house looks great and we would highly recommend this company to others and would use their services in the future.

The work was great. They had a great contractor that they sent us. The workers were very good as well. They left the area clean. I would tell a friend that I would hire them again.

They were amazing. Courteous, on time, and affordable. They corrected things that were wrong. They were very easy to work with, and of all of the bids, they were the best. The cleanup was amazing, they stuck with it, and it didn't inconvenience anyone. The neighbors were all complimenting them. My son is a home inspector and he said he'll use them next year because, as he said, "that's the way it should be done."

From my first outreach, working with EM Snow was an easy and enjoyable process. An appointment for an estimate was scheduled promptly. When Doug came by to do the estimate, it happened to the morning after one of those rare April snow showers, so he couldn't actually see the roof to determine its condition. I explained the appearance of it on the front versus the back of the house and he was extremely knowledgeable and didn't try to push any unnecessary services or upgrades on us. He left a samples booklet behind which was also appreciated. We continued to collect some additional quotes and, while EM Snow wasn't the cheapest, they were very competitively priced and my comfort level with Doug pushed them to the top of the list. I dropped off the deposit check and signed estimate in person and had the pleasure of meeting Lauren, who is a such a kind person on top of being great at her job. The work was scheduled within a few days and we realized the day before it was to be done that we wanted to have a bathroom vent cut in. EM Snow wasn't all thrown off by the last-minute change and incorporated it into the scope of work. The morning of, the workers arrived early and got started right away. We got home later that evening, around 7pm, and they were just wrapping up. The work was fantastic - the roof looks fabulous and their clean-up was superb. I've already verbally recommended EM Snow to friends and family and would gladly enlist their services for future projects.

I needed new windows in a condo and EM Snow was recommended by the management company. The price that I was quoted wasn?t the best price around for the type of windows I was getting but I still decided to proceed with the installation based on the referral only. The problems have started once I had to change the initial installation date. I was told by EM Snow, if I want to reschedule the next available date will be in 3 weeks from the initial date, since they have a big job to do. My windows installation is a relatively small job thus I had to wait. I did not want to postpone the installation and asked for my deposit back if the job could not be done within reasonable time frame. I couldn?t get my deposit back and was basically hold hostage. After going back and force arguing I finally got the windows installed. Would I recommend this company? No I would not. I?m sure one can find a window company in New England that treat their customers with respect.

I share my experience and you can decide. Brand new gutters were installed almost 2 years ago. Last fall we noticed there were so many cuts and holes in the drop edge and when they installed the gutters they didn't replace the drop edge or repair it. I should notice they replaced the roof as well.we contacted them and they said they will come to fix it but it never happened since was winter and after all, the gutters came off of the building during winter. Couple of times we called them and we asked them to visit and take a look to see why these gutters fell down. They said they don't have any emergency service and they don't do any job in winter. So be aware if you face any problem they are not available in winter. We found out all fascia boards were rotten and they never mentioned this and they didn't proposed it before installation of gutters . At the end they said it was act of God and we need to call our insurance. We had the worse experience with them.

It is beautiful The siding is in keeping with the shingles that were original to the house. We are very satisfied with the work done.

The installers did a great job. Energy efficient Harvey Basement windows I have provided the companies name to a few people at work for business.

They were one of 3 companies that I re-contacted when I decided to do the work. They were very professional when they gave me the estimate in 2011 and I liked them. Their price was a little higher than the company that I went with so I did not hire them to do the work.

Everything went very well from start to finish. Doug was on time for the initial meeting and estimate. His time line of when the job could be done was right on and working with his office manager Lauren was a pleasure keeping me informed of what I needed to do in my attic and the paperwork flow before work could begin was effortless. The day work started the dumpster was delivered on time and shortly after that the workers showed up on time and started. By mid afternoon the job and total clean up was done. Very good job on clean up it looked as it did before they started work. The dumpster was removed on time that same afternoon and my life was back to normal. Thank You E.M.Snow

Doug came to look over the house and give an estimate on new windows and siding. He was on-time and knowledgeable but a little brusque. He sent an estimate by email the next day. We decided to go with another company with a lower, but close, estimate.

The office manager, Lauren, is excellent and kept us informed on all visits, when the factory would build the windows,etc. The gentlemen who did the main installation were professional, neat, friendly. There were three windows that did not fit- one factory error, two measurement errors. EM Snow got these rushed at the factory and came and installed them the day the factory delivered the windows to them

although we went in a differant direction we were pleased with the maner and professionalism of mr.Snow

I emailed this contractor for an estimate, and received a response within 10 minutes. Doug Snow, the owner, came to my house and spec'd out the work. The price was reasonable, and better than the other estimate I had for the same job. They said the materials would take a month to get, but in two weeks they had them and said they could get started. They did the windows in one day, as promised. For the siding, they had one worker do the whole job, which took about 2.5 weeks. Marty, the siding guy, did a phenomenal job and was great with all the little details, corners, etc. The house looks perfect. Also kudos to Lauren in the office who was amazingly responsive and helpful. They did a great job of letting me know what would happen when, and they addressed every little thing I asked for to make sure I was happy when the job was done.

I called early in the year, they do not have staff to do these kinds of repairs so I did my best at tacking the aluminum wing down. Then when spring arrived, they promptly called back and scheduled the repair. The repair was completed quickly and reasonably. The only negative was that I asked for more work to be quoted which was not followed up by the office.. Something that I could have called on again.

Doug met with us to walk through our project. He promptly provided us a quote on the scope of work we requested. His quote was quite reasonable for fiber cement and since he work with 2 fiber cement lines he had the best range of shingles and clapboard styles and colors. When I had questions about the quote and how to stage the work he provided clear and informative answers. I would definitely consider EM Snow for future renovation projects.

Excellent. Super responsive. Professional and nice people who do a great job. VERY fast.

They showed up on time and got it done in 2 days. There was a lot of debris left over in yard and flower beds. A number of shrubs were mangled from the ladders and tarps. I'm still raking up shingle pieces. Over the next few months we experienced leaks that we thought shouldn't happen with a new roof. They came to do a quick fix on one area and told us the other leak had nothing to do with the new roof but was a carpentry issue. We later had a carpenter come who told us that is was a flashing issue and it should've been addressed when we had our roof replaced.

Work was completed on schedule, and with no additional costs. Very professional installers.

All of the work was poorly finished and appeared slightly sloppy. While the workers were pleasant and timely, and the work was done in an efficient manner, none of the work done appeared to be of excellent quality. For the money we had paid, I would have used a different company. We have more work that needs to be done in our home, and we will not be calling them again.

This company was not the cheapest, but it was the best. They were never late, were very polite and friendly ( even to my dog who decided they were the enemy), were neat and were total perfectionist. I was hesitant to go with siding, but decided it looked enough like wood that it would be ok. The attention to detail around the windows, doors and corners of the house made a huge difference and it looks exactly like new wood. Although Doug, the owner, told me the insulation that goes under to siding would not make a huge difference, it really does: no more cold walls or drafts around the windows. Our neighbors said that they could hardly sleep due to the wind during a recent blizzard but we could barley hear it. I would highly recommend this company. Even if it is a little more expensive than some, it will last forever and I want my house to look perfect ( at least on the outside!!).

It cost more than what I wanted to spend; it was expensive. But the price wasn’t necessarily their problem. The price of the window was expensive too. They were absolutely fantastic. They were very professional. They got the job done in a very well and very quick manner. They cleaned up after themselves.

The entire experience was excellent. I had 6 or 7 different contractors look at the job for quotes. Many never responded after the initial inspection. Others were much more expensive. Doug and his staff were responsive to all of my questions. He took the time to review material options and pricing for each. Once the work began, the workers were professional and courteous. They cleaned up the site and were patient with my comments and questions. The whole experience was about as good as it gets. Not only would I use them again, but I intend to. I have already had him out to provide a quote for additional work.

Work was completed in a timely manner and overall very satisfied.
