Eco Floor Sanding

We are thrilled with how well our floors turned out. Eco Floor Sanding had no easy task... we have a Victorian from circa 1900 with very worn heart pine floors and stairs. They carefully repaired radiator holes, patched a few places that were too worn to be restored, and also fixed a few locations with sub-floor issues found during the repair work. They also installed new heart pine in the kitchen and lined up the boards perfectly. The results are seamless and the finish is flawless! I would highly recommend choosing them for your own house. There was a minor miscommunication and they addressed it promptly and resolved it smoothly. We worked with Berj - impeccable customer service and great attention to detail. (Please excuse the walls... house is in progress!)

Berj and his team are amazing! This is the second project we have done with them. In 2016 they refinished all the hardwood floors in our 2700 sqft house. We were on a tight timeline and they got the job done, our floors look amazing. We invited them back in 2021 to replace the tile floor in our kitchen with new hardwood. Dimitry did an amazing job removing the old tile and installing new oak flooring - the craftsmanship was amazing. Then Berj and his team helped us pick the right color and the finishing looks great! EcoFloor addressed our concerns about containing the debris from construction - between their careful preparation work and dustless sanding (it really is), the slight amount of mess was contained to one room. Work areas between days were left clean and safe, and construction waste was neatly hauled away; at the end of the project everything was spotless. We highly recommend Eco Floor - we're repeat customers. I wish we had more floors for them to do. A real pleasure to work with.

I can't say enough good things about the owner, Berj. He is not only a true professional, he is also an artist. He takes great pride in bringing out the beauty in every floor. I paid extra for the dust free sanding and it was as advertised. I am not the easiest customer to work for as I am extremely picky about matching colors and Berj was very accommodating about trying a variety of test stains and finishes in different areas to make sure that I ended up with the look that I wanted. His crew was very pleasant and did an outstanding job. I only wish i had more floors for them to work on. As you may have guessed, I'd hire them again in a heart beat.

I could not be happier with the work done by Eco Floor Sanding and I would recommend them to anyone. I had damage to my bedroom floor from a faulty humidifier and it needed to be sanded down and refinished. Berj came out promptly and was frank and helpful in explaining our options. There was a (very slight) delay in providing an estimate that I did not even complain about, but Eco Flooring gave us a 10 percent discount for our troubles (off of an already-reasonable price). They were flexible with timing and worked around our vacation schedule to get the work done. The finished product itself is GORGEOUS. They left no dust behind and I felt like I was moving into a new house. Berj was professional and polite and very concerned about our satisfaction. We are beyond satisfied.

They did a great job. Their was essentially no dust. It was amazing. Everyone was very nice, and professional. Eco put down a special finish to accommodate the damage our 2 dogs can do to wood floors. It is holding up to their nails beautifully. Not a scratch. We highly recommend this company.

They did a wonderful job. Professional and careful. Berj made recommendations about what needed to get done and what kind of coating would suit my home and lifestyle. He even came back the next week to repair one board that was chipped (not by him).

Eco Floors was the highest priced of the three quotes we received but I'm glad we went with Eco, they did a fantastic job. I have high standards and Eco lived up to them. Birj, Mary and the entire crew were very professional in their conduct and workmanship. I've always been an "old school" person, "if it ain't broke don't fix it" but this time went the new route, water based urethane route rather than oil base as everyone said it would last much longer, hopefully until we sell the house. Whether or not that's the case remains to be seen but the look of the water base is fantastic, there's no yellow cast as with oil base, the floors look pure and pristine, very natural. We had two areas stained Golden Oak and the third (with stairs) a lightly tinted sealer coat that matched the stair risers perfectly negated the need to hand sand those risers. The water base also has no odor and dries fast enough to sometimes allow 2 coats in the same day, saves lots of time. Birj returned promptly to clear up a minor inconsistency on one stair tread (I said I have high standards) as well as asking how I heard of them - Angies List apparently gets you an extra 5% on top of our senior discount of 5%. So I didn"t have to ask for either, it was offered. That's integrity.

Went great! I had used Berj and his team at EcoFloor sanding about 10 years ago and they did a great job then. They are perfectionists and they know all there is to know about hardwood flooring. For this job, I eliminated some walls that separated living and dining room and also between the living room and sun room that left significant gaps in the hardwood where the walls were taken out. The repairs required them to remove boards and feather in the replacement boards. By the time the job was done, only someone who knew exactly where to look could pick out the patches... and even then it is hard to notice. The floors turned out beautiful and I couldn't be happier. The price for the work and materials was extremely fair for the quality of the job performed.

So I did the research for you !! This is the only company to hire. Of all the contractors who worked on our house this is the only company I would UNCONDITIONALLY recommend. They easily organized and moved our furniture from room to room. They leveled out some botched areas from a previous sanding job.and the floors were so smooth when they finished they felt like silk. Berj's recommendations for finishes were perfect. Our floors are gorgeous!!! This team is honest, fair, accommodating, knowledgeable, meticulous and perfectionistic. We will definitely use them again when we do our other floors and I tell others they should use them also.

Eco Floor Sanding did an INCREDIBLE job. I have done a ton of work on my house (installed central air, recessed lighting, replaced all the windows, tree removal, exterior painting, interior painting, etc.) and I have never worked with a better contractor. The owner (Berj) and his team were so hardworking, professional, and super responsive. They work quickly and with high quality. They are reliable and met every deadline they provided to me. My floors are GORGEOUS. Anyone would be lucky to have him do their floors.

Berj and the team at Eco Floor Sanding are the best. They repaired, sanded, and refinished my floors, which came out beautifully. They were professional from start to finish, and were careful not to nick or stain any of the freshly-painted walls or wood moldings in my home. I paid attention to that because in my previous home, the wood moldings around the floors had been stained by a less professional flooring company. Extremely well. Mary came out to estimate our job immediately after my call. When I had questions I arranged to Meet Berj, the owner who does and supervises all the work. He is a wonderful guy, thoughtful and professional. We went over problem areas and he offered very good advice on how to proceed. As arranged he carried out the work while we were away and carried out a number of tricky repairs replacing veneers and patching in for damaged boards. The work was carried out exactly on the schedule we agreed and the results were outstanding. He has my unconditional recommendation to take on any floor sanding project.

ECO floor sanding of Watertown did several floors at my daughters house recently. Berg and his very hard working crew went above and beyond with so much attention to detail. They removed all the old imperfections on the floors and matched the existing floors. Very reasonable prices for the satisfaction of knowing your floors were done correctly. The dustless floor sanding system they used was amazing. Such a great job!

Berj and his team are excellent. We couldn't be happier with the results. We initially called in and spoke with Mary, who handles the front office duties and usually comes out to meet with clients like us and take measurements to provide an estimate. She was very professional and I felt like she looked over the floor for any special problem areas that would need to be addressed. Once the actual work began, Berj has a team of about 4-5 guys that come in and set up the equipment, do the repairs, and sand down the floors. The overall project took 2 weeks on the calendar that spanned over 2 weekends and one was the 4th of July. The crew wasn't working every day and sometimes not a full day because of needing to wait on certain steps to be completed and other projects they have in the area. Berj did the final staining himself, and I think one night he was at the house working until after 8PM. He is very committed and has been in the business for over 20 years taking over for his father. I would highly recommend him and Eco Floor Sanding!

From the time I first requested someone contact me regarding the work I needed done to the the completion of the work I could not have been happier. Mary initially came to look at what needed to be done and I then received a competitive estimate from Eco Flooring. I wanted to make sure of some things before signing a contract so I requested Berg, the owner of the company to come and look at my damage and how he would take care of it. He came out and was very professional and honest as to what should be done and how he and his team would work. I decided to hire him due to his professionalism and the excellent review other customers had given him. The were all right in that he was professional, timely, courteous and the work they did was excellent. He actually put some molding around my cabinets even though it was not part of the estimate at no extra charge. While Berg was not on the job 100% of the time his forman and workers were careful to make sure the work they were doing was first class. I felt their attention to detail was unbelieveable. As they were sanding the floors with the dustless sander a worker was walking around dusting anything that a little dust could have gotten on. They not only moved all my furniture our, but when they moved it back in put felt pads on every piece to insure that the floor did not get scratched. I would highly recommend them for anyone who needs any repairing or refinishing done to their hardwood floor. They were EXCEPTIONAL.!!!!!

We contacted Echo Floor Sanding and they were able to come out and provide an estimate within 48 hours. They were professional and very competitive. Berj and his team were very knowledgeable and helped us pick the right stain to match the other rooms. They completed the job on-time and were perfectionists in delivering a quality final product. The floors and stairs look fantastic! And no dust!! I only wish I could have found them sooner. I highly recommend Echo Floor Sanding. I contacted Eco Floor Sanding to obtain an estimate based on reviews and recommendations. Mary scheduled an appointment and I took off work. She didn't show or call. I contacted her and she said she had the appointment on her calendar on a different date. We rescheduled for a Saturday morning and I waited and waited. No show and no call.

Scheduled an appointment for estimate over the phone following contact with company initiated through company website 'contact us' portal. Met company representative, Mary, during agreed upon appointment window. At end of appointment visit Mary promised a quote via email "within a couple of days." After several follow up phone calls there has been no response, no contact via emails, nor return calls whatsoever.

Eco Floor Sanding removed our old carpet and refinished the hardwood floors the previous owners covered up throughout the house. Berj and and his crew were professional and courteous throughout the entire process. He was flexible to add another room as well as change our original request to water based polyurethane. They got done on time and the floors look great. Have already recommended Eco to someone else.

This team is what you want every contractor to be. From the first meeting to the finish their professional approach , expertise , and ability to a answer all your questions is astounding. My friends did not believe that dustless could be true. Well there is no dust. We did not have to remove any pictures or take down any drapes . They accommodated all my requests and the floors look amazing. They leave everything spotless. I highly recommend Berj and his crew. And his pricing is reasonable . The work and finished product is high quality. Truly a pleasurable experience .
