He explained the things that he did like a lot of people who come to my house to do work. They don't explain things but he made it very clear. He explained everything that he was going to do. His price was reasonable because there was somebody else from Angi who it looked like they were charging me more than double the going rate.

We needed work done in a crunch due to an inspection and we live out of state but Tom took care of everything. He did everything in a day, took care of getting supplies and prices were really reasonable. He worked to coordinate with our tenant and moved his schedule to take care of us!!

After 20 months a manufacturing defect appeared in my door, I contacted Tom, who checked it out, obtained a warranty replacement door, painted and installed it. I just paid for the paint. Tom really stands behind his work. Again it was a pleasure to deal with Tom.

He did a good job. He came in and gave me an estimate, he and his members were efficient and courteous. It was neat and I was very satisfied with the work

Had to feather in some patches for the ceiling wall that has been damaged by water. They were also very courteous and friendly. They did not waste time, very efficient. I was very satisfied with their work

Very well. The house was built in 1880, and it was a challenge to make a new install look right.

We had water damage to our bathroom floor and sub-floor due to a leaky toilet. They came in and quickly removed all the damaged areas and rebuilt a new floor for as well as reinstalled the toilet. They were professional, polite, worked clean and were very accommodating. I highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future.

We moved in a new construction home but have experienced a number of water leaks recently - a water leak around our deck door, as well as leaks through various windows throughout the home. Tom Cromer and his crew were extremely professional and responsive, and did a great job identifying the source of our leaks and fixing them. We’ve had a number of contractors attempt to fix our door deck leak, ineffectively, to the point where water infiltrated the floor and stained the ceiling of the room below. Tom was honest and straightforward, and advised us to go with extensive caulking and a few other additions to our existing deck door, rather than installing a new one and / or a storm door which would have cost considerably more. We are finally dry, despite recent heavy rains.

The porch was the most challenging project. It required replacement of several rotted wood pieces around the porch window frame that had to be fabricated on site and fit into the framing of the porch in a way that maintained its aesthetic. Tom advised replacement of the wooden porch door with an aluminum one because the wood was too badly warped rather than trying to repair it. The tile floor installation was done in 2 days just ahead of the outdoor temperature turning colder. Great work all around. I would highly recommend Tom again and ee already discussed future jobs planned for next year.

Tom and his assistant did an excellent job. He was easy to get in touch with and he arrived when he said he would. He's personable and easygoing and his prices are reasonable. I would definitely hire him again.

Tom and his crew were extremely professional, courteous, and helpful in planning the task. They completed the tasks with attention to detail and were so easy to work with. The work is beautiful. Our stairwell/hallway looks AMAZING as do the curtain rods, and art that was hung. They were nice to my kids (and dog!) and very friendly and helpful. We plan to have them come back in spring to fix our porch. highly recommend!

We live in an old house and are very particular about keeping its old character. Cromer did an excellent job in preserving the old character and providing a sensible solution to our needs.

They did a good job with the plastering and painting. The price was high for the work done but it was covered by my insurance due to the damage from another condo's water leak.

Tom Cromer and his crew replaced a damaged wooden window with a new, vinyl window. They also performed some general carpentry, like planing a door that was scraping the floor, and they repaired some siding that had been displaced by an ice dam during the winter. They did an excellent job, were friendly, and cleaned up everything afterwards. They completed the job in a day and a half. This is the third time we've hired Cromer Remodeling, so you know we've been satisfied with their work.

We had a roof leak, which Tom figured out and dealt with quickly and efficiently. Then came repair of the water damage, which was again done quickly and efficiently.

We are incredibly happy with the finished product. The space is beautiful, and Tom was very helpful in suggesting options for working around tricky spots in the layout of our house and our plumbing. He explained everything to us in layman's terms, worked to solve each issue that came up along the way, and always made every effort to cause the least dust, damage and disruption to our lives that he could - under the circumstances. His crew are all courteous and hard working, and Tom was very good at ensuring that all the work done by his crew was up to his and our standards. Tom has done other work for us in the past. He completed a basement playroom reno for us, after a dishwasher leak destroyed our old playroom. That room is now 100 times better than it ever was before, and my kids absolutely love it. We have received several compliments on the new space, and I am grateful to Tom for suggesting that we paint a large portion of one wall as a chalk board wall. I'm also grateful to Octavio, who came back and painted the chalkboard wall extra times when the paint didn't seem to work so well after the first 3 coats, to Gary, who sanded yards of trim till his hands probably throbbed, and to Andreas, who always showed up early and worked so hard to make our kitchen backsplash a complete showstopper. ;)

Tom showed up with his hardwood flor subcontractor as well as electrician and plumber. Tom was very responsive to all of our questions and followed up closely to make sure we were on the same page. We liked that he brought in his electrician and plumber to be able to give us a more accurate estimate. The only reason we didn't go with Tom was because another contractor came in a little closer to our budget but Tom's estimate was very competitive.

Tom Cromer came out a day or two after I called him, gave us an estimate within a week or so, and started the work a couple of weeks after that. We were able to confirm the details of the work before he started, and then asked for some changes after the work began. Tom was very helpful, making suggestions while letting us decide what we wanted him to do. The work was done in three days. They did a great job on the entry door framing, exactly what we asked for. The vinyl and aluminum replacement work was fantastic - they replaced all of the broken, cut and discolored vinyl siding and vinyl and aluminum trim we discussed, and you cannot tell where they made replacements. They did an excellent job cleaning up - you would never know they were there. Tom was excellent to work with and we recommend him highly.

Don't bother wasting your time with this guy. He came to my home to supposedly write up a estimate but that never happened, After a week I contacted him and he said he would get it to me the next day. NEVER HAPPENED. This isn't the first time he has done this if you read some of his one star reviews.
