Description of Work: Tom Cromer, the owner of Cromer Remodeling is a top notch contractor. The job was for $20,000 for extensive exterior and interior work on my two story house. Work involved roof and soffit repair as well as rebuilding three rooms. |The work was flawless. Tom is an extremely competent professional. Call this guy, trust this guy, and HIRE this guy. Call others for estimates but you'll end up hiring Tom and his company Cromer Remodeling.

Description of Work: Reinforced joists and installed new attic sub-floor; installed new blue-board/plaster bedroom ceiling (sub-contractor); removed concrete front steps, repaired rotten portion of front porch sill, and installed a new landing and front steps; minor painting. Friendly and honest workers showed up every day and worked a full day; they cleaned up after themselves every day. The job took two weeks.

Description of Work: We invited Mr. Cromer to come to our home to give us an estimate on repairing water/ice dam damage from the winter snows. The work consisted of replacing two plastered walls and the full ceiling in a small bedroom. New insulation and painting were also to be included. We made an appointment for Saturday afternoon, but then he called and asked if he could come on Friday night since his children had activities on Saturday. We agreed. He arrived close to the time appointed, but then he continued chatting with us for almost two hours covering his background, where he grew up, etc. He was pleasant and seemed to be knowledgeable. When he left he told us he would have an estimate in a few days. That was on April 1, 2011. Today is October 12, 2011. We are still waiting for the estimate! Mr. Cromer happened into my husband's place of business several weeks later. When he saw my husband, he assured him his was still working on the estimate and would have it to us in a day or two. We've never seen it. You decide.

Description of Work: Installed shelves and removed an old built-in.

Description of Work: We requested a new bulkhead door due to safety concerns and because it sticked so much that we could not open it. Instead he recommended reframng the area around the door and keeping our door. He also took some inexpensive measures to greatly improve security.

Description of Work: They came to our house to give an estimate for a roughly $2000+ job that included replacement of two exterior doors, removing carpeting and installing a laminated wood floor. Though they promised an estimate within two days of the on-site visit, we have not heard anything back for 14 days now.

Description of Work: Tom did not respond quick enough. We got someone else to do the work. However, Tom is a very responsible contractor and I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: CALLED ABOUT HAVING SOME MINOR CARPENTRY WORK DONE ON OUR HOUSE. HIS SCHEDULE WAS TOO BUSY FOR HIM TO DO THE WORK FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. WHEN I EXPLAINED THAT MY HUSBAND WAS CONSIDERING DOING THE WORK HIMSELF, HE VERY NICELY OFFERED TO PROVIDE PHONE ADVICE ON HOW TO DO THE PROJECT.
