Great! They arrived quickly and were professional, friendly, and did a very thorough job.

The whole thing went very well. Matt was prompt (he may have even been a little early) and he got right to work. He gave a brief overview and then explained each step as he was doing it, just to make sure I was getting it.

After inspecting the entire building for squirrel holes, Matt placed several traps by the hole, and the squirrel was trapped in a day. Then the hole was sealed. Matt had fully explained what he was going to do, which was very helpful for me since I'm not very knowledgable about how to get rid of squirrels. The entire operation went very smoothly. Also, we hired Critter Control of Boston not only because of good reviews, but also because the office manager Christine, who took my initial phone inquiry, explained all procedures and costs very thoroughly. And then she emailed a document that broke down the costs. You can probably find less expensive solutions, but for great service and total professionalism, I recommend Critter Control.

Mike came to do our inspection. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He clearly explained everything that needed to be done. I feel very comfortable knowing what it would take to resolve our critter problem after speaking with him. I would recommend him highly.

Dan was very knowledgeable and informed me that they have a technician on call who would have come right away. Too bad the BPD didn't inform me of that! Only had a phone conversation, but will follow up if I need a site visit.

The first company I tried from Angie's List didn't do slate roofs. The second company didn't call back. Critter Control called right back and went out of their way to find a convenient time for me. Mike was incredibly prompt and professional. He came up with a clear estimate and made me feel comfortable and confident about the work Critter Control will do to keep bats out of our house. I wish I had called them the first time!

Very well. They cleaned out the vent and placed a garde over the vent as well as other vents. These were high up.

Very well! We had a squirrel issue a while back. Critter Control came out and solved that for us. Fast forward to today and we have a squirrel eating away at our siding trying to get in. Mike checked the area and let us know that the squirrel had not obtained access - and hopefully just gave up. He offered to fix the siding while he was there which was a huge help to us.

It turned out to be a starling, and Ben found it and removed it. He even seemed concerned about the animal itself when it didn't fly away on its own. He made a recommendation on dealing with how the bird got in, and I will follow up. He looked the place over to see if there were any signs of other intruders. Critter Control was very nice and professional. Hopefully, though, I won't need them again soon!

Everything went very well. It turned out that we had flying squirrels in our walls, and that they were getting in and out through a hole in rotten wood in a corner of the eaves. Critter Control set up a one way trap, and ultimately caught eight flying squirrels, plus one random grey squirrel. This is more flying squirrels than can usually be expected, so it ended up being a longer job for Critter Control than usual, but the price remained the same. We had a couple of snowstorms during the time the trapping went on, and Critter Control were undeterred by the snowbanks, continuing to set and check the traps until all was quiet again in our walls. They repaired the place the squirrels gained access, and furthermore reinforced the same place on the other three corners of the house to prevent future access from those points. Throughout the entire process Critter Control stayed in regular contact via email and phone. I felt very sad for the cute little squirrels, but once individuals are used to getting in your house and think of it as their home, there's no keeping them out. I will say Critter Control treated the trapped squirrels carefully, carrying the cages gently, so I felt reassured that the squirrels met a humane end. All of these things were well worth the price paid, especially with the security we now have that all four weak points in the house are reinforced against future incursions.

I highly recommend Critter Control. I arrived home early one afternoon to hear animals romping around in the front wall of my home!! I found Critter Control (on Angie's List) who reassured me that it was probably squirrels and I had surprised them by coming home outside of my usual schedule. Who knows how long they had been squatting in the walls of my house! Matt found the entry point. He set up a trap and the squirrel was humanely captured the very next day. During the following week, Matt monitored the entry point to ensure that no other animals were getting in. He repaired the original entry point and sealed gaps in the dormers and corners of the house to avoid a repeat invasion. He installed the best looking chimney caps I have seen. We live in a semi-detached house and Matt worked with our neighbor to provide the same service to her home. Critter Control gave us a very handsome discount for the 2-year Residential Animal Protection Program (RAPP) for both houses in addition to the Angie's List discount.

This winter we were woken up by some scratching and tapping coming from the ceiling. Thankfully, Critter Control helped us out identifying the problem and then removing 6 squirrels that decided to move in. Christine and Ben and the rest of the crew provided excellent service and answered all our questions about the process of removing the squirrels and preventing their return. Highly recommended!

Excellent. We had a bat fly into our house in August 2015 and had Critter Control come out to do an inspection to make sure there were no nests on the house. Informative, polite and prompt service.

Mike of Critter Control did a great job.. We were freaked out by a squirrel that had somehow gotten *inside* our home. Christine scheduled us within a day and the squirrels were gone within 4 days. All the while, Mike kept us informed of what was going on and what the next steps were. The proposed repair was reasonable and Angie's discount of $100 was great as well. In all, an outstanding experience. Would highly recommend.

I have used Critter Control repeatedly over the past 5 years and spent thousands of dollars on animal removal (commercial space). I usually spent 1 month per year having them remove raccoon's from large warehouse. This year when I called, the process was different. I Called on 1/22/16 and scheduled appointment on 1/27/16. I received a call on 1/27/16 mid afternoon cancelling appointment.. We rescheduled for the following day. I then received another call at end of that day, cancelling appointment again. I understand things happen and plans change, and I'm sure i would have written an A review had the 2nd appointment been upheld and the animals were removed. But, I spent 2 consecutive working days waiting for someone to show up for a scheduled appointment(s), only to have them cancel both times.

In May of last year, Critter Control sealed a squirrel hole in my attic. In January of this year, I called them when I heard squirrels again. They came promptly, removed the squirrels, and sealed up the new hole. They also resealed other past holes. Because they had been here just last year, they performed all this work for no charge. I wasn't expecting that. Critter Control stood behind their guaranty and behind their reputation, and performed the new work quickly, without complaint and without charge. I was impressed by the quality of their service in addition to their integrity, and would call them again.

Critter Control came out to investigate what I thought was a squirrel we had been hearing in the walls for about 4 days. Had trouble with scheduling other vendors, so by the time CC got out here, it had been a few days since we last heard the scratching in the wall. But they made a thorough inspection, found no evidence of squirrels, or bats, and given my description of when the activity was occurring, concluded it was much more likely to be a mouse/mice, and we've had an occasional mouse in the past, so that seemed plausible. That changed the service from a squirrel service to a mouse service, and they set a good number of traps in the basement, and came back later to make repairs to the foundation where mice could be getting in. They were very helpful and professional. Very happy with the work.

These guys were great. For their 'squirrel package', they do an assessment and set traps and check them every day. Once the traps are empty for a few days, they patch up the holes to prevent squirrels from returning. It only took about 3-4 days to trap all the squirrels and then another day to patch up. They even came back after it looked as though a different squirrel tried to get back in (but didn't) and they patched that spot up again too and no issues since. Given that all the visits, trapping and removal are included in the price, it's a very good deal (plus Angie's List discount). The patching of the holes were about $75 each I think on top of that (2 holes) so overall, a great deal and great work. Definitely would use them again if I had to (but hope not to).

It went very well! I actually called Critter Control before purchasing the deal to clarify a couple of questions, and the Office Manager was great and helped me get everything squared away. Within a couple of days of purchasing the deal, Ben visited my house and did a thorough interior/exterior look on the property and recommended additional work (permanent steel grates to go over my plastic/aluminum roof vents) to keep the squirrels at bay permanently. The first worker arrived the next day and installed five traps on my roof and seven roof grates, and then came once the next day to remove the squirrels (all traps were filled). He came once more the next day and, seeing that there weren't any squirrels left, called me to tell me that the work was basically done. They came the next day to remove the traps and leave behind the grates I had purchased. I'm all in at $915: $600 for the AngiesList deal, and $350 (less 10% AngiesList discount) for the permanently installed vent grates. The price seems high at first glance but it's right in line with competitors and, honestly, the service was top-notch. I'd say "would do this again!" but I'm hoping my neighborhood grey squirrels don't make their way into my attic again. (If they do, I'm assured that CC will come back at any point in the next two years for a service call, free of charge.)

Critter Control visited daily and gave me frequent updates until all of the squirrels were out of the attic. They were reliable, easy to work with and effective.

They were good. They called me right back. They sent the guy on that day and spent an hour and a half. It was a lousy area to get under. He went under there and did the job. With his professionalism, he didn't quit until he got the job done. I was satisfied with his work.
