+ -1 moreHe directed me to a wonderful company who helped me select which one to buy, based on what I was used to and what features I liked. Mike, the owner of Convenient Appliance, picked up the new dishwasher at the store, arranged a discount and delivered it to my house. Mike is the answer to life, when it comes to appliance repair. He answered all my calls speedily and came soon after I had contacted him. He is an expert with over 2 decades of experience in this area, and he is also the nicest guy. He truly cares about his work and his customers. As a bonus, he also charges about half what his competitors charge. Shortly after this, my washing machine stopped working. He was able to repair it , which saved me from having to get a new one, and he told me the one I have is an excellent one. Besides getting a new dishwasher, I now have a new appliance repair service that I can finally count on!
Description of Work: He diagnosed my old, worn out dishwasher as basically dead in the water, (no pun intended) and helped me find a new one which he installed.

+ -1 moreMichael Chaves charged $69 to assess the problem with our stove top. He said that when I received the correct part he would come back and charge $50 for the repair. He has now disappeared. He never responds to my telephone calls and I have made dozens of them. He is totally irresponsible and unprofessional. I will have to hire someone else now, thereby losing my initial payment of $69.
Description of Work: Provider,Michael Chaves, came to our house as per our appointment to check our gas stove top that needed repair. He analyzed the problem but said he did not know where to get the part it needed for the repair. I quickly found the part, paid for express service, and left a message with Mr. Chaves that I had the part and would he please come to make the repair. An appointment was made but cancelled, was "sick," another was made but was cancelled due to snow.

+ -1 moreHE CHARGES $50 FOR A SERVICE CALL. ONE TIME WE THOUGHT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH OUR REFRIGERATOR. HE LOOKED AT IT AND CONCLUDED NOTHING WAS WRONG, SO SINCE HE WAS HERE HE OFFERED HIS SERVICES FOR ANYTHING ELSE. IT WOULD ALSO COVER HIS $50 SERVICE CALL FEE. THAT WAS THOUGHTFUL OF HIM.
Description of Work: INSTALLED NEW DISHWASHER AND HAULED AWAY THE OLD ONE.
