Description of Work: BBC rebuilt our chimney and added a SS cap. They provided an estimate and when they did the work they charged us less than the estimate since they did not need staging to get the work done. I was very impressed that they did this as they really didn't have to. The work was very good quality. We selected them because they seemed the most knowledgable about what work was needed and they performed on the actual work.

Description of Work: We had never used our fireplace and flue and needed them inspected. |Matt did an inspection from inside the fireplace, but due to some cement buildup at a bend he had difficulties to inspect the flue with the tools at hand. At first, he therefore recommended scanning the flue, which would have cost $350. But he clearly wasn't comfortable with this result, so he went and got his colleague from the car, and together they went onto the roof (which wasn't trivial) and performed another inspection from there. As Matt had already suspected, in the end they were confident that the flue needed some extensive works, which would have cost us thousands. Bottom line, he really went the extra mile to make save us some money. Matt and his colleague were very professional, efficient and friendly. I'd definitely call them again.

Description of Work: I requested an estimate to waterproof my chimney. They came out, gave me an estimate and explained that the temperature had to be above 40+ degrees before they could complete the work. When the weather improved, they called to schedule the work, arrived on time and completed the work in a timely and professional manner. I would recommend Boston's Best Chimney and would not hestitate to use them again if needed.

Description of Work: They repointed my chimney. They put two liners in. They also put a door for the chimney in, put a flashing around the chimney, and also put a cap on.

Description of Work: I called 3 angie's list A-rated chimney sweep/repair contractors. Boston's best was the first to call back. They were very professional/responsive and talked me through the possible scenarios for sweeping and repair scenarios based on my description of the chimney issues. Ultimately, I went with the cheapest provider, but I was very satisfied with my experience with Boston's Best Chimney and did think that their pricing was very competitive and more than fair.

Description of Work: Dana inspected the chimney flue and the furnace flue. He explained that we did not need to clean the furnace flue now because we have gas heat and that stays quite clean. He also let us know that we need not worry about cleaning our chimney flue again for a very long time since there was not much build up there(and it had not been cleaned by us in the past 30 years!). We appreciated his honesty. He was very professional, neat and thorough and the price was much lower than the competition.

Description of Work: After a windstorm blew off our chimney flashing and chimney cap we asked Boston's Best Chimney to give us a bid and to repair it. They were unable to do the work in a single session due to the weather, but they came very promptly, did the work quickly and professionally. We would definitely use them again.
