Description of Work: This is a family run business that captures all of the benefits of being family owned. Great pride, enthusiasm and craftsmanship were brought to the job.

+ -1 moreHe sent me an email very shortly after we spoke complete with two options, both drawn out and fairly detailed. When I realized that some of the information in the estimate needed to be tweaked, I promptly sent him an email with whatever corrections would need to be made. I have heard nothing but crickets since. Worst of all? The estimate he provided is almost twice what two other vendors were willing to charge me. I feel as though I was being fleeced, perhaps because I am a woman who lives in a wealthy community? This I cannot say for sure, but I know I will not be pursuing this job with Banner Glass Shelmar.
Description of Work: I called Banner Glass Shelmar because I am in the market for a custom shower door. I specifically told Rob that someone would need to come out to take a look, as it is a very unique space in need of creativity. I mentioned a couple of times that I would like to have the space looked at, but he insisted that he could price the job based on the information I provided over the phone. He did not even ask me for precise measurements, rather a ballpark, and assumed he could price the job based on that. I am still perplexed at how a custom job could be approached this way.
