It went well, they repaired the bedframe. It was, however, a little expensive.

Pleasant experience

I brought in the steamer trunk in and he gave me an honest assessment of what could and could not be done. He fully restored the trunk top to bottom and it looks beautiful. He called me with updates and to make sure I was consulted about certain items. Since then, I have brought him additional items to restore and I bought a dinning room set from him. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

It was wonderful. They responded quickly, gave me a general estimate over the phone, and came to look at it when they said they would. When they arrived, they gave a more particular estimate (lower than others), outlining the various approaches I could choose, and analyzing the condition of the secretary. They gave such a reasonable price for ALSO oiling/refinishing the secretary that I authorized that too, as a present for my wife, whose heirloom it is. They carried it away, did the job beautifully and carefully, and returned it when they said they would. I would highly recommend their services.

Very well. The outcome was just what I hoped for.

Anthony's picked up the pieces at my apartment and held onto them until after I moved and delivered them to my new house (this was planned and agreed in advance). The dresser had good bones, but a broken leg and a finish that was showing bubbles. Now it looks like new, but cost less than something new. The bed kept breaking, but Anthony's added slats and reinforcements to combat some of the original poor construction and cleaned it up. The table was my Great Aunt's, and they took it apart completely and reglued it and cleaned it up. The mirror frame was broken and they replaced the back and fixed it. I'm very pleased with all of the pieces and glad I was able to keep them.

The original front door to my house is 80 years old. It s a beautiful 2- inch thick wood door that was hand carved. It was covered with some sort of black stuff that looked like it was the result of a fire from a long time ago. To buy a new door like it would have cost over $2000. They gave me an estimate to strip it down and refinish it. It came out great. Everyone compliments us on the door.

Bob was very nice, professional and careful. I'm glad to have the tables back to normal. He also gave me tips on the best products to use on the furniture, including touch-up finishes as well as waxes, polishes, etc. He also provided free estimates that I requested on other pieces of furniture that will require more extensive work in the future. He is very knowledgeable about furniture and I appreciated the expertise.

They did the work quickly and my first phone contact was pleasant. The owner was rude, when I picked up the chair, continuing to talk small talk on the telephone for quite a long time while my husband and I stood there waiting to pay. They did not clean up glue around the chair arm, leaving it untidy.
