Excellent workers very caring about my mother's apartment. Were amazingly clean and caring. Each night they cleaned up after themselves, put all tools away. They came when they said did what they said and were done when they said. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. They came highly recommended to us, and we would recommend them to others.

The location where ECWC wanted to pump the water out of our house would have put it in a place where it would not have drained suitably away from our house and our neighbor's house. ECWC was unwilling to place the outlet at a place that, in our judgment, was acceptable. We found another company to do the work that was willing to place the outlet at a suitable location, and also used superior techniques and materials. We found that the ECWC sales associate tended to become defensive and resistant when his proposed plan was questioned, both from a common sense and technical point of view. It was difficult to get clear answers from him. He tended to give incomplete answers, or answered a different question that he thought was the motivation behind the question asked, rather than taking the question asked at face value and dealing with it expeditiously. This created unneeded back and forth and frustration on both sides, and made the experience somewhat unpleasant. Our basement is a finished space (walls, ceilings, floors) and covers a large area (approximately 170ft of drain) and so we feel that as a result, ECWC had trouble coming up with a solution that was both practical from our point of view and conforming to their standards of practice. This we understand completely. A business' reputation is paramount and so it's sometimes not worth the risk in taking a job that requires "thinking outside the box" and deviating from the standard rules of thumb that have worked well in the past.
