It went very well. They scheduled a time, about two weeks out, but kept calling to let me know if they could get in early to do the work. In fact, they were able to get in early - which was fantastic. They asked me to have some prep work done before they got started, and I had most but not all of the work done. They didn't charge me to finish the prep work. The install went great, and was done in one day. They cleaned up, and everything was done to spec.

We were extremely pleased with our experience. John met with us right away when we initially called for an estimate. However, we didn't hire him right away and regretted it when our basement started to take it alot of water during a heavy rainstorm in February. We called John immediately and he responded to our "call for help" by rescheduling his existing jobs and performing our job within two days of our call. They performed the work in a timely, clean, professional manner and the cost was competitive. In addition to rescuing us from a very wet basement, the system has worked well so far -- with all the rain in the first week of March, we didn't get any in our basement. We're thrilled! John's follow-up has also been impressive...he's called us several times since installation to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction.

John is one of the good guys: a real professional who returns all calls (and shows up) promptly, and follows up politely and persistently. He scheduled a free estimate visit within days of our initial call, and based on our descrption of the water-in-the-basement problem and an inspection of the space, he explained what he believed was the source of the problem (an unstable bulkhead) and offered a couple of options (a half as costly but non-guaranteed fix that he said works 90% of the time, and the warranteed Perma-Dry system we chose). He answered my many questions on-site, and and then promtly - add patiently - returned each phone call inquiry answering questions, providing clarification and alleviatiing concern. When I phoned to ask how soon work could be scheduled since record rains were forecast, he scheduled the work asap - in the nick of time to beat the rain. His crew was hard working, polite, clean (and as promised, there was nearly imperceptible dust from breaking up the concrete floor!). Except for the surprise of having to locate an outlet and extension cord to power the pump, installation went smoothly. John followed up to be sure all went well and that we had no more questions or concerns, and I was happy to tell him that after three days of heavy rain - the basement is dry.

My fully finished basement took on water 2 weeks after we purchased the house. John was one of the first quotes I received. I interviewed 3 other waterproofers and chose John because he was the most straight forward and willing to explain every detail of the installation without my prompting. He also followed up on a regular basis. I had to postpone the work multiple times and John was very accommodating of our schedule. John's crew arrived precisely on time and performed the work in the window that was originally communicated to me. They did encounter some issues (ledge to hammer through) but kept the cost manageable and within budget. I was very happy with the finished work including the pouring of the concrete. The job did produce a slew of dust, but that is to be expected. It has now been over 2 months and numerous rainstorms/snow melts since the completion of the work and I have not seen a drop of unwanted moisture in my basement. All in all I have absolutely no complaints about the professionalism, cost, and quality of work that Drycrete provided and would recommend them anybody who has water issues in their basement.
