WAKEFIELD KITCHEN & BATH

I ordered the cabinets in November and received them last week. It hasn't been a good experience. The cabinets are okay; they are a little more inferior than I thought they were going to be. The fronts of the cabinets look good but the rest of the cabinets are made shoddy. It was shoddy workmanship putting the cabinets together. They are Kemper cabinets. The owner was very rude. It was supposed to be cash on delivery. He called me two weeks before delivery and wanted the money. I told him it was cash on delivery and it was stated that way on the invoice. He said that wasn't the way he runs his business and that he always gets his money before the cabinets are there. He called my wife and pursued her for the money. We went back and forth and I said I would pay when they were delivered. I told him he could come when they were delivered. He said no he wouldn't be there and he wanted a bank certified check. He said he would have his men take the cabinets back if it wasn't a bank certified check. I haven't talked to him since the cabinets were delivered. It wasn't a good experience and I wouldn't go back to him.

I moved into a smaller place that desparately needed new cabinets. Barry Kaye at Wakefield Kithchen & Bath was able to make a challenging situation much easier. He stuck to my budget and offered various options in comfortable environment. He was followed-up with my contractor to ensure everything went according to plan. Barry is very professional, honest and ensures his clients are satisfied.
