Description of Work: Open @ 1pm but was never there. I did leave my computer got estimate for repairs but hours were not convenient for me work 3 to 11pm. When computer died again called to ask if work and parts were under a warranty never called back.

+ -1 morereplaced video card when I hooked up puter at home was making strange noise I thought the fan was going - one week later computer problem again - took it to a service in Malden - they told my son it had a faulty video card replaced it for 150 (my son did not know I just had it replaced so he did not get the part back) Couldn't find receipt and did not have part so I ate it as how would I get my money back - by the way the computer works fine now

+ -1 moreMy internet explorer was giving me problems. When I tried to access forwarding sites, it would just go off into nothing. I tried using Micreosofts techs and then Sony's to to avail. Wakefield Computer set up google and bing. By accessing the explorer through them, it worked.
Description of Work: Fixed a problem I was having with Internet Explorer.

+ -1 moreThey did all the work in 24 hours and called promptly when the computer was done. Computer works fine now. I'm very happy with the service performed.
Description of Work: A conflict developed that caused my ms office to crash any time I tried to save a word document. They did troubleshooting for conflicts and eventually decided the best solution was to upgrade windows(which they did).

+ -1 moreThe price wasn't too bad because they fixed it. They fixed it but we weren't sure it was a new keyboard and not an old keyboard. We wouldn't use them again because we think they misrepresented that it was a new keyboard. We are pretty sure that they didn't do what they said they did. They did fix it for not that much money.
Description of Work: We used Wakefield Computer Hospital because we had a laptop that went blank. We took it in and they said that we needed a new keyboard. They said they replaced it.

+ -1 moreEric gave me priority because the computer is used to run a business,. This was GREATLY appreciated! He also gave great advice, did a little extra, and charged a VERY reasonable rate. I will most definitely call him again and recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Owner Eric Bertrand backed up my entire hard drive, wiped it out, and reinstalled the operating system and, by special request (but no extra charge!), installed my Quickbooks 2009 program that was not installing for me previously. He also advised me about the dependability of free virus programs, etc. And, he also gave additional advice via email at no extra charge. Overall, a very low-stress experience in contrast to previous times I have had to wipe out my hard drive!
