not sure how there are so many good reviews. the company does not stand behind their work and 100% satisfaction means nothing. After a bad installation, where coolant leaked multiple times, air in the gas line, defective pump, cracked condensation pipes , leaking rain in unsealed roof exhaust, gaps in newly installed ductwork. They told me to find someone else to service the system after I left a bad review.

They were on time. Neat and orderly. Ductless heat pump installation has been quality and service was quite on time. They were there when they said they would and got it done on time.

I had a pipe burst during the 2018 winter and called TTC for the emergency. The young lady Brianna sent someone out very quickly to my location even during a very busy time. They sent a plumber over the next few days until my baseboards and pipes were all replaced and the heat was back up and running. Very quality work in a very busy time of the year. Thank you TTC!

I would like to highly recommend the Total Temperature Control team. Back in November 2017, our tenants experienced a heating outage in one of our furnaces. After the TTC team visited, they found that this particular heating unit needed replacing. After being walked through the condition of both units in conjunction with the wisdom of John and his team, we decided to replace the existing units with the latest Carrier models. Throughout the process, John, Amele and Brianna Ambrosino, David Pereira, and Steve Matarazzo, along with the other team members who diligently worked on the systems provided comprehensive information, quick and efficient communication about the projects, and professionalism when we spoke with them via phone from overseas or our tenants did at the house. We appreciate that the project would take some time and that their main interest was in doing it correctly the first time. Since the initial timing was during the start of winter, the heating was addressed first and completed quickly. The air conditioning was done last and eventually activated just before the heat of summer began. Finally, when we checked on the property from overseas, John took the time to walk through the project to finalize. A big thank you to everyone at Total Temperature Control.

Everything went very well from the initial contact and scheduling to the actual work being performed. The service technician arrived right on time and was friendly and professional. I found Total Temperature Control's pricing to be a bit higher compared with several other companies that provided a quotation, but I tend to believe that you generally get what you pay for. I will continue to use this company in the future and would recommend them to others for central air service.

I did not hire them in the end. They were very informative and very precise in their explanations how to rectify the problems and the errors of the seriously flawed home heating system installation. I had 2 different estimates and project descriptions, over a 8 month period. Both evaluations were extensive and thoughtful. I wanted to commend their professionalism and willingness to understand the repercussions of the situation. I would without hesitation recommend this responsive, capable, very skilled technicians. Great company!

Total temperature came out, diagnosed the problem and went to get a new one (simple dial type which it was replacing) to fix the problem. I let them into the unit, opened up the basement bulkhead and asked how I should pay. On a prior visit they took a credit card for the charge. I also asked for a copy of the bill to be emailed to me. I left the job site after discussing payment options. This unit is rental property & I assumed they didn't need me around any longer. Over the next few days I looked for a bill and/or a charge to my account. Not seeing one, I thought perhaps this was because they had been there in July for a thermostat issue and that they did this one at no charge. Almost two and a half months later, I saw a charge to my business account from them. I still had not gotten a bill. After multiple phone calls to the company and then speaking at length to the owner, they decided to reverse the October charge. I would have been happy with splitting the bill on the 2nd visit, but they rescinded The entire 2nd bill. That was way more than I was asking for, they want their customers to be happy with the work and went way above and beyond what I had asked. That was really impressive. I will use them again.

When our Furnace went , they had given us an estimate earlier in the year in anticipation of replacing it. They honored the estimate, and did the work in one day ! Great team of people , and always provide top notch service so no worries develop!

If the tech was there 20 minute, that was a long time, plus he had to leave and go to Home Depot for an air filter. From the info I got from the tech, it was more visual then anything, and a check list on what was actually done would of been appropriate. Next time I will go on YouTube,then call a heating contractor if needed.

Exceptional work, highly professional and responsive

We used them since they're an authorized service provider for our AO Smith water heater. The heater is only months old, so we went with them even though they're located a bit far from us. The tech was great. He used the minimum billable time, 1 hour. He showed me the back pressure reading indicating that something was clogging the vent pipe (which is ~20 ft long). We went outside and he showed how rainwater was able to enter the vent, and fixed it so that would stop. He said that he could also try to clear the pipe of water, but he'd be doing it at the $175/hr rate with no guarantee of success, and explained how I could do it myself. I chose the latter, bought a wet vac for < $100 and it took me about an hour to clear it.

The technician arrived around December 10, 2015 as promised and was very professional. He seemed to be able to diagnose the problems with the water heaters. He noted several repairs that should be done, and also mentioned that a total replacement with a different system might work better in the long run. We told him that budgeting was an issue, so we asked him to provide us with a list of repairs hat had to be done and a list of repairs that ought to be done, pricing them separately. We also asked for a quote for a total replacement. He promised that he would email an estimate to the email address we provided. No emailed estimate arrived after more than a week, so we called on the morning of the 18th. We were told that we would get a call back in 10 minutes. No one returned the call. On the 21st we called in the morning and were told we would receive a return call in 10 minutes. After three hours went by we called back and were again told that we would get a call in 10 minutes. No one returned the call. We called again and were told that someone had just given them a folder and we would hear from them soon. We did not get a call. We called on the 24th and left a message with their answering service. We called three times on the 29th and were promised a quick return call, which we did not receive. We called again on the 30th and again asked for an estimate. The person who we spoke with first said that the company does not give estimates for repairs so that 's why we hadn't received one. When we told her that we also had asked for an estimate for a replacement, she agreed that we should have received an emailed estimate She added that she understood our frustration and that we were getting the "total runaround." She promised to page the technician and have him call us. She added that the company wouldn't provide estimates for repairs - that it was a "parts plus labor" cost. I told her I didn't understand why an estimate couldn't be provided since the technician knew what parts had to be replaced and also should know about how long it would take to do the repair. She said: "Well we can only give you a range." I told her that's what an estimate frequently means. We received no return call as of mid-day on the 31st. The reader might wonder why we were so persistent with a company that was so unresponsive. There are two reasons. First, we only hire authorized dealers, and Total Temperature Control is one of the closest to our home. Second, the technician who looked at the water heaters appeared very competent and, as noted, was able to quickly diagnose the problem. (This was not the case with a different company we had called earlier). We thought perhaps the problem was communication within the company and were willing to forgive this if we ultimately received good service. However, we're done waiting for a call that won't come.

I've used them before and they've been great, but after this tune-up we had lots of uneven heating in the house. They came back to try and balance the heat and it took a long time and then we were charged for extra time. Ultimately it was resolved but it was a long process. I'll use them again, but request the person we've had previously and not the technician who came out to us last year.

I called for a gas furnace maintenance and got an appointment in 1 day. They said that they will call me before the person came but did not call me. When they called me, the technician was already at my house and I was at work. He was kind enough to wait 30 min for me to drive home. The maintenance went well, and finished in around 30 min. It was concise and he did not try to sell me upgrades or changes (even though the furnace is very old). I will call them again. Excellent service and very professional. I've had good experiences with them. It was a coupon special this last time. They were great. I've used them before this one time. I've had them like a few years in a row.

I had an excellent experience with them. When we had the service call, they were her in about an hour and a half. They have done excellent work every time. The people were nice deal with. I recommend them to anybody. They were great. I have been very pleased with their response. We only had one service call and they were great. I thought the pricing was reasonable.

They were fine. I have used them for a number of years. I used them in Boston. The cost varied on the services. For the apartment that I owned at the time, they also serviced the wider building, so it was useful to use them, because they knew what was going on with the building overall. They were probably not my favorite vendor. They weren't great with communication, they caused damage in my unit, and didn't tell me, things that I had to have repaired by other people, but I continued to use them. They were effective, but they were not exceptional in any way.

We found them on Angie's List. Their reviews were not very good, but we didn't have much of a choice, because they worked on our brand. They came and ordered a second part, and when they came back another guy came out, and so he installed the second part, and not the first part, and so they had to come a third time. They then billed us 3 times.My husband called and talked to the president and after 3 or 4 calls they took it off the bill, although it was no fault of ours. Once they adjusted it, it was all covered by the warranty.

We were passing papers on Monday morning. Saturday at 4:30pm two days before closing we had a leak in the cartridge at the top of our water heater. Called 4 plumbers and none responded except Total Temperature Control. First visit was $399.00. They came after hours. No part available. Came Sunday morning and repaired with new cartridge. Approximately $600.00. Costly repair done very quickly. We were very thankful. We were under the gun with the closing of our condo on Monday.

The HVAC system is great. The install went well from start to finish when we had TTC put it in 7 years ago. We put in a 2 zone system on their advice and it's been a good choice. Maintenance of the HVAC and furnace is a mixed event. The actual maintenance and crew I have no issue with. Once you get a crew on site, they are everything you want. But. Getting an appointment for that maintenance is a different thing. I've been cancelled the day of the appointment multiple times. It's very frustrating to burn a vacation day for no reason. Be very clear about your timing when you book. It still doesn't guarantee, but you feel like you did what you could.

They've been great for regular maintenance. When I called for service this past year, they came and tried to fix our uneven heat problem and then automatically charged my credit card with the costs. I had never authorized that (had to use a credit card to make an appointment) and had not received an itemized bill so I had no idea where the charge came from. They would not/could not reverse the charge. It took several calls before I got an itemized bill. Ultimately they did refund some of the charge to me because as we determined that they had charged me for more time than the technician was there. They do good work, just make sure that you get an estimate before you approve any work and that you get an itemized bill.

The system that I have was very old, they now make something called airsource heat pump which is a small unit that fits on the side of the house. They are really nice people I dont live in that area anymore so I wouldn't use them again.

Used this company many years ago to repair a water heater. Have not needed repair since then because I ended up buying a new one a few years ago. Have no recall about price.
