Everything went fine. Emergency temporary repair was done same day. Detailed assessment was made and quote for complete job was received in two days. Once insurance compensation was verified and chimney repairs were completed, the job was scheduled. Roofing repairs were performed on schedule. Workmen polite, workmanship fine, cleanup complete. A pleasure to work with, communicates well, would recommend to anyone.

Ralph answered my initial call immediately, and he was responsive throughout the process by returning my calls, answering my questions, and making any changes or corrections needed. He and his team did a great job protecting the property while the work was being done and cleaning up after. The work was completed on schedule, and everything looks great. I feel confident that if an issue were to develop at any point in the future, Ralph will stand by his work and make himself available to solve the problem.

Busy, busy, busy...will call you when I am free and he never did call me back. I was very upset. I won't use him for roofing when I need a new roof because I felt that he just gave me a runaround as far as gutter cleaning was concerned. They never came out, never called me and never got in touch with me. I did talk to his receptionist and again I may have even called them a couple of times. I definitely got the runaround. They may be busy...I don't know. Give them a C, I want to give them an F but they may have been busy with other things. It was really a put off. The impression that, hey we have already got enough customers we don't need you. That is the impression I got. That isn't very professional too because they left me hanging, it wasn't that they said, I am sorry, we are completely booked out or, we are not going to be able to do it. It was like, 'We'll call you', type of thing but they never did. I won't use him.

I emailed Ralph Burke and he called me the next morning. I sent him photos of my roof holes and he called back with an estimate. That afternoon while I was in Boston he came to my house, repaired the roof and left me a bill. The holes look covered and the process was seamless and easy. Might someone else have charged me less? I don't know but it's done and I'm pleased.

I sent a request for a quote on his website. In less than 48 hours he called back and even though he said he was just too busy to take on my job, I appreciate that he called back because too many contractors don't do that when they are busy.

Ralph responded immediately to my concerns about the shingles sliding off the house for the past five years. knowing I needed more than a repair, I asked him for an estimate which he submitted to me immediately. A few weeks later, Ralph burke's crew replaced the roof. They did so with expediency and professionalism. The debris cleanup was impeccable. I was impressed with a crew that really knew what their job was and did so with proficiency. It has been raining all night so I checked the attic for leakage, especially around the chimney, Not one drop of rain was in my attic. A job well done. The Burkes - Dan and Ralph were highly recommended by my brother and his brother -in law - they had used them for their roof replacements and were extremely pleased . They are very responsive when called, and came out as requested to answer any questions and give us a quote in the Fall. Ralph patched my roof a couple of times and showed me the problem with the shingles. The original roof contractor failed to place the nails on the shingle nail line. The shingles were sliding off my house from a roof that was only 6 years old. Ralph was professional and never commented on the ability or character of the bad contractor, he just showed me the problem on the fallen shingles. It appears that the only shingles staying on my house are the ones Ralph replaces. His response time was great and his price was reasonable. It is time to stop fixing shingles and I have asked Ralph to replace the south side of my roof. Ralph will be replacing my south side of the roof which will give me peace of mind. I look forward to writing another review on his work which has been proven to be excellent.

Went well. Ralph is very thorough and spent significant time with me prior to when I committed to going with him; we were re-roofing in response to leaks as well as to address some ice dam issues - Ralph ensured that we locked up a reasonable approach to insulation prior to the re-roof, as a necessary step to ice dam mitigation. The two days of the job, Ralph's crew did their work professionally and thoroughly, completing exactly as spec'd. Time will tell if it holds up to storms, etc., but thus far would recommend without reservation.

Couldn't have asked for more. Ralph had actually come to our house a few years ago because we were worried about the age of the roof. He was refreshingly honest and said that we could replace the roof but we had a few years left so it wasn't really necessary yet. This past winter was tough on our roof so we made the decision to go forward. Ralph came by the house within a day to personally to walk the roof and give an estimate. He scheduled us for the job two weeks later and showed up right on time. His crew was extremely professional and careful. The cleanup was especially impressive. You almost couldn't tell they had been there. The whole job took three and a half days start to finish. Ralph never asked for a deposit -- just full payment at the end of teh job.

Overall I was satisfied with the job he did. He did what he was going to do for the price he said and he seemed to be more knowledgeable than some of the other people. I recommend him.

My elderly father's ceiling started leaking the day of that recent ferocious rain storm and that afternoon I called and left Ralph Burke a message, never expecting to hear from them right away since I knew their phone must have been ringing off the hook. To my surprise, I received a call back within a few hours! Ralph patched the leaks on the roof a few days later after things dried off and now everything is safe and dry. Since I live out of the area but pay my father's bills, Ralph agreed to leave a bill in my father's mailbox and a family member called me to tell me the amount and I mailed Ralph the check. I was pleased he was so easy to deal with in that matter. Friendly and professional, exceeding my expectations... thank you, Ralph!

Talk about customer service! Ralph called within 1 hour of my email (via his website) and offered to come by later that same day to look at our leaky skylight. Upon arrival he quickly identified the make of the skylight, some potential problems (which he explained in detail) and called the skylight rep. to get some "tech support" on possible solutions. After spending time working through solutions with me and my husband, it was decided we'd hold off on doing work as Ralph didn't want us to spend $$ unless we needed to! So if/when we DO need to replace the skylight, I know who I'm going to call.

I scheduled them to come out to look at a small leak that I believed was coming from the chimney area. They scheduled a time for that very Monday. However, I cancelled the visit for reasons unrelated to Burke. I called them and apologized and they were very understanding. I'm writing this to say how impressed I was with them getting back to me as soon as they did. I know there were some reviews that said they didn't.

Contacted the company mid-June and set up date for a quote. Was called the date they were to come to look at roof and told that they were not coming. We discussed job at length on phone and was told that they would come out the following week to give a quote. Received no call back so I called again and spoke to secretary who said she would deliver the message. Also, wrote a message on this website to request a quote. It is now July and I still have not received a call back. Obviously will be using another roofer. A simple call back stating that they were busy or not interested would have been the professional thing to do!

Ralph was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the whole process of replacing the roof and answered all my questions. Ralph showed up with his crew at 7:00 AM and got straight to work. The whole project took a couple of days. The crew cleaned up after themselves each day and after the job was done, Ralph came by to inspect the area around the house to make sure no debris was left behind after the final cleaning. The roof looks great and I have great confidence that it was last for many years. I also want to recognize Mrs. Burke (Ralph's Mom) who took my calls and brought by the color boards so I could select the right color shingles and she also came by my home to take care of the permit for the roof. Meeting with her really assured me that the Burke family business was the right one for me to choose to replace my roof.

Got a call back promptly after leaving a message over the weekend and scheduled for an estimate a couple of days later. Ralph was very insightful and gave a great suggestion to install oversized 6" gutters and down spouts on one side only to avoid dumping water on our driveway that would freeze. The gutters were installed a week later and they did a quality job. Ralph also answered all my questions about my roof and even nailed a few new shingles that the wind blew off the ridge of my roof. I would not hesitate to give him a call about any future roofing/gutter needs I may have. A+
