Description of Work: Discussion w provider concerning small leak in kitchen due to severe winter evolved into known roofing problems (serious garage roof multiple leak correction; screened in porch roof punctured by falling tree limb) Providers expertise and on-site evaluations led to whole roof replacement. The men hand nailed the Certainteed Landmark shingles, replaced flashing, replaced roof ceiling vent, etc.; did a great job. The men were efficient, hardworking completing in 2 days. Attention paid to nails, debris On-site talks with provider on status of work. I could not be more pleased.

Description of Work: Ralph called me back the same day and was able to meet me that day to view the problem. |He proposed a couple of solutions, we agreed to try the simplest and he sent someone as soon as the weather permitted. |So far the repair is holding, but if it doesn't, I'm sure he'llpromptly respond.

Description of Work: After more than two months of waiting and three "no-shows", they finally re-fastened a gutter (at considerable height) and installed avalanch plates. They made the right recommendations did quality work. They did not appear to "cut corners" and they left the premises neat and clean when they were finished. The amount charged was exactly the amount estimated.

+ -1 morePrompt and professional. We called Mr. Burke because of previous roof repair work two years ago. Our call had a quick response. Mr. Burke provided advice and samples. Once we had decided, work was scheduled for about a week later. His crew showed up on time and got the job done quickly. Most impressive was the way the crew picked up after itself. When they left, there was no sign that a major work had occurred, other than a nice roof.
Description of Work: We replaced the entire roof of the house.

+ -1 moreGot 4 estimates to get roof done. Burke was among 2 in the middle $100 apart & came in exactly where I had estimated the job should cost. Very prompt in coming to do estimate. Checked out their references with Angie's List & the BBB before calling & was satisfied that they were reputable. After I called them back to give them the job, the mother dropped off contract (optional but I asked for one) & samples to choose shingles from & then pulled the work permit from the city. They called the night before they started & finished the whole job in a day & a half. Cleaned up the yard spotlessly. I liked that they had their own trash truck so no dumpster drop was needed. They even took a personal check & didn't ask for a certified one. Overall experience was highly satisfactory. Would use them again anytime.
Description of Work: Stripped & replaced one layer of asphalt shingles on all roofs, including shed. Added ridge vent to main house roof. Removed trash & cleaned yard.

+ -1 moreBurke Roofing was the lowest bidder. Of the three bidders, Burke was the only company that did not ask for money up front. They cleaned up the yard after the job was done. We were notified 24 hours in advance of the work and the job was done in a day and a half. Burke and his mother were friendly, provided samples, and neighborhood locations where the roofing could be seen. It was a pleasant experience.
Description of Work: Removed old roofing on home, addition and shed. Installed new six foot wide ice and water barrier, heavy weight felt paper, and 30 yr Certain Teed architectural shingles. Installed ridge vent. Installed new gutters on house addition. Reflashed vent pipes and chimney.
