Crew was punctual and efficient. Everyone seemed to know their job. Owners (Ralph and brother) were part of the crew.

Punctual, honest, not expensive. When we need a roof, we'll call Ralph.

They were excellent. I am happy with my new roof.

We had a small leak with no apparent cause. I called three roofers with high ratings on Angies List. The first to respond came to the house, looked quickly at the roof, and said the ridge vents were the most likely cause, and should be replaced. He promised to provide a quote. We never heard from him again. The second to respond (Burke Roofing) came to the house, went to the attic with me to see exactly where it had leaked, and then onto the roof to look things over. He was candid that there was no obvious cause for the leak, but that the ridge vents were loose and that lead end caps had never been installed on two ends of the vents. He recommended re-nailing the loose vents and sealing the ends of vents where the caps were missing. His price seemed reasonable. A week or two later, he came by and took care of the repair as promised. At least a month after my initial call, the third roofer finally called. I suppressed a giggle and simply told him that we had made other arrangements in the meantime. I thought that Ralph Burke was very reasonable and practical. I'll definitely give him a shot at any future roof work.

He was quick to get me a quote and it was a really good quote. He did a really good job.

I contacted three contractors. All responded, but Burke was the most friendly and responsive. They returned all calls and delivered as discussed. The personalized service went a long way to raise my comfort level. I would use them again!

Contacted Ralph Burke roofing and I was called the next day. I set up an appointment to meet the following Monday at 5PM. Dan, Ralph's brother called around 4PM and informed me that he was running about 45 minutes late and most likely wouldn't be there until 5:45PM. (GOOD COMMUNICATION) Dan showed up at 5:30PM and after looking over the roof, he provided a detailed estimate of the project, outlining the materials and exactly what he would do. (QUICK ESTIMATE) They were not the most expensive of the contracters however, I had several that were cheaper. I called Dan and let him know that I would like to go with him the other quotes were less money. Dan meet me half way on the price difference and we confirmed the shingle color that we wanted and decided to have the work done in the middle of October. Dan called and left a voice mail for me on October 4th, Sunday evening letting me know that he would be onsite with his crew on Monday morning at 7AM. I didn't get this message and I didn't confirm. He showed up anyway which is my only gripe. I felt he should not have shown up to do the job without first hearing from me that is was OK. That being said, he did apologize and we moved forward. I left them in the morning and by the time I showed up after work they were done. The job looked great, everything was cleaned up and I looked closely around my yard for nails and shingles and couldn't find any. As I was walking my property, Dan showed up and went over all that they had done and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. This was completed in one day! I highly recommend this company and I would and will do business with the again. Write their name and number in you address book as keepers.

From first time they answered my phone call to completed repair, Ralph Burke Roofers were a pleasure to work with. They made an appointment for estimate of repair work for only a few days after I called. Mr. Burke came prompt to his first appointment, thoroughly assessed the roof area where the leak started, offered to let me climb up to see for myself (I didn't, but appreciated the offer), and offered an estimate that seemed very reasonable. He didn't try to inflate costs -- said the roof itself was in good shape and the leak seemed to originate in the finish work which was shoddy -- edges not sealed, caulking not done properly, etc. So that's what he fixed. Torrential rains 10 days later tested his work pretty well and leak does in fact seem to be fixed.

Their price was very competitive. They did good work and they did it fast. We got one cheaper quote but we didn't like their work. I would definitely use them again.

Ralph arrived on time to give the estimate which was very competitive. He tells it like it is. He was the only contractor who wouldn't quote to lay shingles on existing roof ( the others quoted reluctantly) as they feel that that is not a quality job. We had the work completed within 2 weeks of the quote and the job took one day. They arrived on time, worked all day and cleaned up thoroughly at the end. It looks great.

We had several internal and external leaks to address. Ralph came out promptly and did a very thorough inspection of the roof and internal damage. He gave a very honest assessment of our ice dam problem (new to us having moved here from the South). He explained what caused the problem which made it clear that the solutions have more to do with your roof's temperature and thus not generally fixable by a roofer. Our other leaks were due to gutter problems. He gave us a very reasonable quote to replace 2 gutters. He arrived promptly, completed the work and did a great clean up. You could barely tell they had been in our driveway. Ralph is a very knowledgeable, professional and careful business owner. He was here and involved in doing the gutter replacement so we knew the job was going to be done properly. We've had experiences where the owner came out to do a quote, made a great sell and then sent workers out who did a substandard job. I highly recommend Ralph and when we need a roof replacement we will surely use him.

After listening to many sales pitches, we were most impressed with this company's straight and personable approach to getting the job done. All of our questions were answered professionally without any attempt to sell us more expensive materials or work. Their estimate was not the least expensive, but from the first meeting we were impressed with their approach to doing the job. Our biggest concern was getting an ice and water barrier which would prevent our windows from flooding after an ice storm. We were extremely pleased to have had no ice problems at all this past winter. From the estimate through the clean up, this company did an excellent job.

Our family has used their services thrice to replace our roof while moving from one house to another. The price they charged was reasonable and their work was excellent. The workers were punctual and professional. They did one thing that I didn't like but overall it was good.

All went according to plan. They delivered what they agreed to do on time and on budget. Can't remember what the actual price was, though.

Our roof was overdue for replacement. No leaks, but the shingles on the sunny side were all curling and were very brittle. Ralph Burke had replaced the roof on my parent's house and that went very well. So I asked the Burke's to give me a quote for replacing my roof. They came when they said they would and the quote seemed reasonable, so I asked them to replace the roof. They said they could replace the entire roof in one day. They came on time on the day scheduled with a crew of guys and they did, in fact, have the entire roof replaced and new gutters installed by the end of the day. In terms of project execution, my only complaint is that the holes they punched in the continuous guttering for the downspouts are smaller than they should be. I discovered this when I tried to install some leaf screens. But that is a very minor complaint. Bottom line, I think they did a great job. Came on time, got it done on time, and charged what they said they would. I recommend them highly.

Our roof began leaking during a period of heavy rains earlier this summer. A few roofers told us that the entire section of roof needed to be replaced for about $2500. Ralph came to give an estimate and said that the roof section was fine. He then noticed an area where water could enter by the gutter -- he sealed it up on the spot for us and we haven't had a leak since.

I went fine. It took longer for them to start then I had hoped, but they were waiting for me to choose a color for the roof. Once I called with the color it was done within a week. They are very responsive. They always picked up their office phones and their cell phones.

The task went very well. Ralph Burke who is personally engaged in every one of his jobs, provided an estimate immediately, came when promised and finished in just a few hours. His estimate was considerably lower than others, mainly I believe, because most of the others wanted to do a major job connecting the roof over the extension to the body of the house, which had never been necessary before. He was also much lower than others offering a similar plan.

I was hoping to hire his company, but never receieved an estimate. I even called to ask and still never received it. Disappointing!

He came in to look at the roof and climbed up and looked...He was very prompt I showed him where the water was coming in and come to find out it was a HVAC issue. I have used them in the past. They are great and very easy to talk to. They are the most reasonable company. Very easy to understand the estimates.

After a recent windstorm I called them, hoping to hire a local firm with good Angie's Ratings to fix some missing shingles (it was raining and leaking). The woman said she'd get Dan out to look at it the next evening. I called the next aft. to confirm and Dan returned my call to say he'd only come if it stopped raining, otherwise he'd come the next morning. It stopped, but he didn't show, and rain kept dripping into my finished attic. The next morning he didn't show (though I did see a truck drive past the house twice). I called around noon and it turned out he drove by but didn't even stop and also didn't have the courtesy to call. Rain was still dripping into the house. He said he'd call me in a couple of days to set up a time to come do the simple 1hr repair job, and I never heard from him again. I had wanted to hire a local firm so I'd have someone to redo the roof next year, but they burned me on this simple job and lost a customer.

We are very pleased with the service. There was little mess when they left and the finished product looked amazing. They were on time and very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called and spoke to a woman who said they might be able to squeeze me in, as they were already doing a job nearby. The next day she confirmed that they would be by on the following day. Ralph arrived on his way home and reinstalled the shingles that flew off. He also left a general report as to the condition of the rest of the roof.
