After purchasing our new home, we wanted to freshen it up with an interior paint job. Fortunately, we found Rick Orcutt. He gave us a detailed and very fair estimate for the work, and then his team executed the job beautifully. We were amazed by the quality of their work. Rick Orcutt is an absolute pleasure to work with. He’s punctual, responsive and professional. He makes sure work is done correctly. We would love to work with Orcutt Painting again.

Rick and his team were easy to work with and delivered with quality. My wife was about to have a baby when we hired Rick to pain the interior of our new home. Rick was incredibly flexible to work around our schedule and ensure the house would be painted before we moved in. He kept in regular communication, was easy to reach, and was very responsive. When the job was complete they left the home clean and neatly stored the extra paint and brushes in the basement. I was also impressed with Rick because about a month after the initial job we discovered a patch in the dining room where some air bubbles had gotten into the paint. He came back promptly and repainted the entire wall for no charge. I highly recommend.

I used Orcutt Painting to paint my entire place, in addition to staining and varnishing, and I cannot express enough what a beautiful job they did. The crew was always prompt, courteous, and professional, not to mention super neat and clean. And Sam was so easy to work and communicate with! His priority is understanding and meeting his client's needs - always giving his undivided attention, answering questions, and explaining things. Without hesitation, he goes above and beyond expectations. My home looks beautiful and I wouldn't hesitate to use Orcutt again – I highly recommend them!

Orcutt Painting did an excellent job and am delighted we chose Orcutt for the work. The quote/scope of work was detailed and then well executed. Clearly the team took pride in doing a good job. The work was done consistent with my schedule. And at the end, the clean-up was thorough and all furniture was moved back in place.

He and his crew were fabulous. He came out and gave me an estimate that he stuck to except where I expanded scope which he met with flexibility. He gave me recommendations and feedback. His crew were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves and did a great job.

My husband and I were beyond thrilled with the work provided by Rick and his team. They are responsive, punctual and extremely professional. We were so impressed with their attention to detail and the overall quality of the work. While working in our house they were respectful and extremely neat. They were so accommodating of our ever changing schedule because of all the other work that was being done in our house and we couldn't be more appreciative! They completely transformed our home and it looks absolutely beautiful. I would hire Rick and his team again in a second!

Rick and his crew were excellent -- I can't think of how they would do better. Rick gave a solid and detailed estimate and his price was what he said it would be. The crew did an excellent job preparing the walls and trim -- filling in small gaps in the corners of the trim on windows and doors. The filled small holes in the walls and then sanded the filler so the surface was smooth. The lines between the gray walls and the bright white ceiling were perfect. The guys didn't leave drops of paint on our recently varnished hardwood floors. This was a very professional job and Rick and crew were a pleasure to work with. I wish all the companies I choose for other services are as good.

Fully documented contract timely presented as promised after initial visit. Foreman introduced by owner on first day was excellent communicator. This was extremely important because owner became ill during the project. Crew on the job promptly each day. If foreman had to leave informed me when he would return. Quality of work was outstanding including daily clean up.

Rick Orcutt responded quickly to my inquiry. He came to see what needed to be done and had an estimate the next day. We agree on the job and set a work date of Dec. 6th. They came worked and hard til the job was finished. All looked good until the next sunny day. I saw problems in the paint and emailed Rick. He responded the very next morning. He came to see the problem and set out to fix it. I was not happy will the color/finish I had opted for and asked if I could change it. He said I could and for a very nominal price repainted will another finish. The crew came again fixed the problem and painted the room with the new finish. By the way, the day that Rick came to see the problem he also gave me back my payment check. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH ORCUTT PAINTING.

We have used Rick and his team a few times in the past and have always been highly satisfied with their work, so when we moved into our new but older house he was the obvious choice. Always professional and responsive, they did a wonderful job. We will always use Rick as long as he and his team continue painting! Highly recommended.

Overall we were very pleased with Orcutt. Rick was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns as was his on site foreman. His team arrived promptly every morning and worked hard throughout the day. They were able to complete the job in just over a week which was fantastic given the amount of wallpaper we started with! The only constructive criticism if we had to come up with something would be that furniture protection/coverage could have been a little better. When we went to reassemble the rooms we found that a lot of our furniture/beds wound up really dusty. Obviously, dust is expected given the type of project but just seemed like items might not have been covered sufficiently while work was happening in the rooms. That said, we wouldn't hesitate to hire Orcutt again in the future!

Rick, the owner, showed up very soon after initial contact for estimate and showed up to do job on the appointed day on time. He is very reasonable and reliable. Will be my go-to guy for future painting workpain

Rick made an appointment to evaluate the home, clarify my needs and make recommendations. Then he and his team showed up as scheduled to do a walk through and ensure all the tasks and specifics were right. Very clean, very professional. I had originally hired him to paint the walls and trim in 5 rooms, but then decided I needed two hallways done too - and he was able to add them to the job without issue. He scheduled a walk through with me just before they finished to ensure I was happy with the work, and was prompt on delivering invoices and guarantees. I plan to hire him to come back and do some final work next year.

Exceptionally well. Rick is very precise in his estimate, making sure he and the customer understand exactly what will be done. He scheduled the work to meet a tight deadline on our part and brought in more painters as needed. The crew that works for Orcutt is top notch and does a beautiful, careful job.

Rick and his team was great to work with! This was the first time i hired painters and he gave me some good advice from timing of the job with other project i had going to explaining the downside of painting my kitchen cabinets, and really everything! They were also very fixable with my timing and was able to move the job up for me as well. The work was done quickly and turned out great as well.

I met with Rick to get an estimate for painting of a new master bedroom addition. I had to call at the last minute as I ran into an issue with the painter I was going to use. Rick arrived at my house the day I initially contacted him and was very thorough on reviewing what needed to be done. He provided some great feedback especially when it came to some challenges I had trying to match stain from an existing stairway to a new stairway. Although I didn't end up going with his company this time around I would consider them in the future.

Sam is thorough, careful, and pays a lot of attention to detail. These are high end properties and the finishes have to be perfect. Sam takes the time to explain the benefits and drawbacks of various approaches. He is also very trustworthy and respectful of my tenants. I have hired him several times and he is now the company I go to for all painting, staining, and finishing. Prices have ranged from $300 to $3500.

Orcutt Painting is the best painter I've used in Boston over the past 20 years. I needed the work to be done very promptly due to health issues. Rick responded immediately, sent Ray over for the estimates, and they started with a two-man crew within a week. We had another estimate and Orcutt was substantially less expensive. The crew was prompt and worked straight through until the job was complete. The crew was extremely polite and cleaned up perfectly. The preparation and painting job was first class and there was a walk through after completion to catch any problems. There were none. Orcutt is my permanent painters now.
