We bought various furniture pieces from different sellers off Craig's List, and needed to get them all to the house. Setting up the move with George was very easy, he's a nice gentlemen who is very accomodating and advised of pricing in advance, which was accurate. There were a couple issues due to a specific employee, and George took immediate action to ensure they do not happen to other customers (see Provider Response below). The truck was supposed to meet at the first location at 1pm; instead the driver called at 1pm to let me know they were running 45 minutes late (understandable delay as it was a rainy day and they had a previous job scheduled ... but the call should have come earlier). Then, when 70 minutes had gone by and still no truck or follow-up call, I was unable to contact anyone for an updated ETA; they arrived an hour and a half late at 2:30pm. Once they arrived, they were professional and got immediately to work. My main issue came at the end of the job; when creating the bill the driver also figured in a 20% tip and pressured me into paying it ... I had intended to give them $60 to split, which my research indicated was pretty much standard for that type of job. When George found out about this he offered to have the tip money collected and returned to me, and advised me of the steps taken to assure this does not happen again (see Provider Response below). I declined the money (hey, lesson learned) and have no doubt that management was unaware of the employee's actions prior to this.

Jand J responded to a request to provide moving services on short notice. The crew was professional and did a very good job. They worked non-stop from the time that they arrive until the move-in was complete. They were also responsible, respecting the properties and working in coordination with maintenance services at both the pickup and destination.

They were prompt, polite, and careful with our furniture. They did a good job and were fast as well. The price was good as well.

Jand J arrived on time, handled everything quickly and professionally. They packed everything well and were careful moving items in our house.

They were great. Their price was very good comparative to the other estimates that I received. They are a small company; so they were more responsive than some of the larger companies that I attempted to work with at least on getting an estimate and scheduling. I definitely would use them again in the future.

Moved the original stove from the garage to the house. Then, when the STATE OF MASSACHUSTETTS wouldn't allow me to hook the old stove up, moved it back out to the garage and moved the new stove in. Great guys!

3 very polite strong guys came on the first day with 10-15 moving blankets (not disposable) through them down into the kitchen, and 3 rolls, I believe, of shrink wrap. Within one hours they had used all their material. I instructed them to get more. They said that was it and maybe if they could get the key for the office in Wakefield they could try their luck there. I asked them at this point if they could disassemble the beds - the only remaining items to be disassembled (we had done the entire household already). The answer, "Sorry we don't have any tools, someone took the truck with the tools this morning!" I wish I had a video. It was a comedy show. Professional movers who were suppose to pack all the household items in boxes, disassemble and pack all parts of all furniture of my house for an international move, came without material and without tools. It is an incredible feeling to be so stressed out, so powerless and yet have to continue with the process. So they suggested they use card board - my husband agreed (they were suppose to be the professional movers) 2.5 hours later they had done 4 dining room chair legs, sculpted with card board - all three guys chatting and talking together. I had a fit! Called the owner and complained about the situation. At this point I went out to 2 different moving company store and bought moving blankets and shrink wrap - total wrong kind of material for international moves, but the container was coming the next day and we had no other resources. It is giving me stomach cramps to retell and relive this nightmare. Before I had left I had asked how many more blankets and rolls of plastic wrap they needed. I was told 15 blankets and 1-2 rolls. I bought 30-40 blankets and 4 rolls or wrap and everything ran out again. My rugs went into the container without been wrapped and were ruined! I was frustrated with my choice and upset with myself for buying this dream that magicians would come to my house and with their own material would box everything, disassemble all our furniture and prep for the container - the next day the container would be nicely loaded up, with the partition for safe travels across the oceans.

The men were polite at both end of the trip; I'm sure we made it difficult with the kids running around at the unload. The cost was good, as they do not charge for the time it takes to get to the loading site and back to home base from the unloading site (Some other companies figured in an extra 1.5 hours for this.) They rent a truck, which must cut down on costs.

The 2 man team arrived ontime and ready to work. They carefully wrapped items that needed to be protected. We had two delivery points and each went smoothly and efficiently. They exceed my expectation in everything they did. They were polite and respectful at all times. We finished in 2 hours and we got a reduced rate. I would definitely use them again.

The three men arrived a little later than planned (we were there 2nd job of the day) and worked hard until the job was finished. They were helpful - worked with us - were polite - professional.

George and his crew showed up promptly and got to work. They worked until late the first day but were unable to finish the move in one day. The amount of junk we had stored in the attic through off the schedule. They came back the second day and completed the move. They took good care of furniture and wrapped everything in blankets. We were pleased with the process

Jand J was easy to contact on their web page. George was extremely responsive and followed up with a phone call. Team was able to fit us in between jobs. The job took them about 10m from start to finish. I highly recommend this company and would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in a responsive moving company.

Move went better than expected. Most of communication was done via email - very responsive, quick replies and estimate done through website. Answered all questions, and explained all charges. 3 guys, 1 truck = move completed in under 5 hours. The guys looked very young, figured it wouldn't go well. Wrong - they were very professional, polite, experienced and worked very well as a team. They were a little late (wasn't a big deal), but they did call to let me know they were on their way.
