+ -1 moreExcellent. I was very happy with Safe Side Chimney. They were honest and said the chimney didn't need to be cleaned now (no charge for inspecting). They checked the dryer vent- it had a large kink that made it unsafe. They put a new vent piece on and a metal arm on the back of the dryer to avoid future kinks. The price was very affordable. They were easy to reach on the phone and arrived at scheduled time. My mom was also happy with the work that she had done too.
Description of Work: We had our chimney checked to see if it needed to be cleaned and we had the dryer vent checked for cleaning as well. My mom had similar work done on her house and a cap put on her chimney.

+ -1 moreI had a chimney sweep scheduled. They scheduled the arrival time between 9-10am, the employees showed up right on time at 9am. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I wasn't able to get the work performed due to some damage in the chimney. They explained the damage, the potential cause and provided me with a competitive quote for repairs, explaining what is most critical and what could wait. Overall, I felt that Safe Side had our best interest in mind and didnt perform unnecessary work (the cleaning) to make a quick buck. They were informative and definitely provided more details about our situation than other companies had provided in the past. Even though no work was able to be performed today, I am very happy with the communication and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

+ 1 moreJohn Palker, the owner came out and inspected the chimney and said that my chimney was fine and did not need to be cleaned. I was amazed at how honest he was. It's nice to know that there are still honest people out there. He installed a cap on my chimney and did a great job. I have sent others to him and all have had a fantastic experience with him. His company is the only company I will use for chimney maintenence and repair. Thank you, John! :)
Description of Work: I wanted to see if my chimney needed to be cleaned. I decided that I wanted to put a cap on my chimney and he installed it. This was probably 5 years ago, so I don't know how much I paid. PLEASE NOTE: I PUT A RANDOM DATE IN MY REVIEW AND JUST PUT THAT HE CHARGED ME 1.11 BECAUSE ANGIE'S LIST WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO PUT IN A QUESTION MARK. I CANNOT REMEMBER THE DATE OR COST OF THIS JOB. I DO KNOW THAT IT WAS VERY REASONABLE AND WELL WORTH JOHN'S EXPERTISE.
