The job was completed within 2 weeks and the job only took 1 day to complete. Very professional and punctual and going to contact him when I need to have the siding and windows done on the house.

Description of Work: Replaced roof. It went pretty well, they started and finished in 1 day. The only thing preventing a higher rating is that I found a bunch of old or un-used nails in the garage, around the yard and I can see them sitting on my roof. But the price was right, the workers where very cordial and the owner was very straight forward and direct (not a lot of pandering sales talk which I find annoying.

I have a large house and the crew stripped, prepped, replaced skylights, and roofed in two days. Clean-up was exceptional. Rob was involved from initial visit, quotes, and on site during portions of the job. His advice on which products to use, colors, and important versus unnecessary upgrades was right on. During the job the crew worked incredibly hard with impeccable attention to detail. I wish every contractor I hired was this professional and talented. Thank you.

+ 1 moreWe have a newer house only thirteen years old, and had to replace the sub-par shingles installed so we got three quotes, but Rob's quote stood out because his contract was clear, his references impeccable, the warranty was comprehensive, and his attention to detail was obvious. For example, due to a gutter issue I inherited from the builder, Rob was the only contractor to say he would replace the entire front gutter vs. just patching it. Despite his busy schedule he was able to squeeze us in within weeks of signing the contract. His team showed up on a Friday morning, and the roof was done by the time the sun was down, and the property was cleaned so well we didn't even know they were here. We would strongly recommend Noreaster Roofing of Uxbridge for all your roofing and siding needs.

He went out of his way to get here quickly so that a renovation that we had going on wouldn't be delayed... AND he did the entire roof (with what seemed like an army of men!) in one day. It looks great and so far, well it's functioning like a roof should. :)

+ 1 moreRob was knowledgeable and honest when discussing our need to replace the roof on our home. We spoke to a few other roofers but we preferred Rob's genial manner and thorough approach. He kept us in the loop throughout the scheduling and permitting process. When the day came to do the work, his crew, together with Matt, the crew leader, arrived exactly when they said they would. We have a large home with a separate garage, several dormers, and an addition. All the old roofing was removed without wrecking any of our landscaping (amazing) in a matter of hours. The new roof went on beautifully and quickly. It was obvious from watching that these guys knew what they were doing and they worked well together. When they were done (1.5 days), they cleaned up thoroughly. I have black mulch which made it difficult to find all the old tar paper but they got it done. We had a tiny glitch in that we all misunderstood where we expected new gutter and where we were keeping old gutter, but we quickly came to an understanding and the job was completed to our satisfaction. Our home's curb appeal has been improved 100%. I would recommend anyone use this company.

+ -1 moreThe job went exceptionally well. The crew arrived on time. Rob was there at the start and end of the job. I was amazed that they were able to do all the work in one day. When the job was complete, Rob walked around the house with me for a final inspection. We were very pleased. A couple weeks later we noticed an issue with a bathroom vent and suspected it had been closed off during the roof install. We called Rob and he came within the next few days and fixed the issue. So, we could say his followup after the job is great too. Best of all--we have had our new roof for over one year now and NO LEAKS! It looks beautiful, and we would definitely recommend Rob at Noreaster Roofing.
Description of Work: Rob of Noreaster Roofing replaced the roof on our 2,400 sf home with a 30-year architectural shingle roof. His crew tore off the existing roof and installed the new roof in the same day. They also cleaned up afterwards. Although Rob's estimate was not the lowest (another roofer gave us an estimate for $500 less), we felt good about hiring him for the job based on a neighbor's recommendation and his willingness to answer our questions by email as needed. Trying to choose the right color for the shingles was daunting, and Rob was very helpful about giving us addresses of other homes on which he had installed roofs so we could drive by and see how they looked. We were also able to go to the Harvey showroom in Southboro to look at full size sample boards of the shingles, which was extremely helpful. Rob also offered to have a custom-color drip edge made for the roof.This was an additional cost (about $1,000), but well worth it. The standard drip edge colors are white, black, and brown, and our house trim is an ivory. The white did not match, so Rob ordered the ivory for us. We were glad we spent the extra money.

Description of Work: We contacted Nor''East for a quote in late April. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the work until June. Rob was very gracious and worked with us through the whole process. When we were unsure of the color of shingle we wished, he provided addresses to examine new roofs in a variety of colors and brought over several large shingles for us to examine. He spent a great deal of time explaining the process and what we needed to do. He was the only contractor who wanted to look at the roof both on the outside, but inside in the attic. When the work was begun, it was completed when he indicated it would and he was on site to examine the work and make sure it was done correctly. They cleaned up well and given this project ( old shingles must be tossed to the ground), the landscape was left in pretty good shape. We will comment on the actual roof later. We have not had it that long to make a good judgement. . Rob has also indicated that any problems, he will take care of them and will be sending us a guarantee in writing. The roof s beautiful, the work appears well done and we believe that we have a roof that was very well done. Thank you Rob! We appreciated your care, concern and the careful work of your crew.

+ -1 moreWe got several quotes. Rob's was the best. He also had a lot of experience and good reviews from what I could see. We had some delays due to other contractors needing to be hired, but he was patient and did the work quickly when we were ready for him to come in. My only caution is that he may recommend a carpenter who works with him. I only advise that you really check that person's price against other quotes. Rob's price was very competitive. The carpenter's price was not. We had other work to do, and went with someone else.
Description of Work: Screen porch with almost flat roof was always leaking. Rob did a fantastic job, he recommended a product intended for this type of roof, and it has held up through several very heavy rains and snow. I highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreHe gave me a price of $600 over the phone on the first call. The second call he quoted me a price of $900. When he came to my home it went to $2,000. The worst part was that it took the workers only 30 minutes to do the job. They left the snow on the ground, so I had to shovel it up. I shouldn't have hired him for that price, and I feel he took advantage of the situation. He didn't tell me it would only take 30 minutes. He told me the name of the supervisor, which he lied about. He was very unprofessional. He patronized me when I complained about the amount he charged for the job.
Description of Work: I hired this company to remove snow from my roof.

Description of Work: We called several local roofing companies and decided on Nor'Easter based on comments from people who have used them. The best part was that though the reviews were teriffic the job that was performed was even better. The crew arrived on the scheduled day, started work at 8:00AM and was finished by 3:00PM. The original roof was removed and the new roof was installed. When the crew left I scoured my property for nails etc. but did not find any. I could have chosen a company a little less money but the customer service, quality of materials and maticulous installation was well worth the money.

Owner was on the job site during the entire process which was VERY helpful. Any and all questions/problems dealt with immediately. Entire job completed in one day. Dumpster arrived at 7:00 AM, owner and his crew arrived by 8 AM, Entire job completed (including cleanup) by 3:30 PM. Extremely happy with the entire process and would definitely recommended this company to my friends.
Description of Work: Removed existing shingles from the entire house. Installed ice and water shield and felt paper where needed. Installed drip edges around perimiter of roof. Installed new pipe boots. Installed new step flashing around chimney and also releaded chimney. Installed 30 year architectural shingles. Installed ridge vent. They were not the lowest priced but they were very good. They got the job done and did what I wanted. They did a good job cleaning up. The roof is doing fine and there were no complications. + -1 moreWe had been searching for a contractor to repair or replace our roofs. I found Nor' Easter Roofing through Angies List and met with him the following day. We signed the contract a few weeks later and they schduled the work to begin on an agreed date. They arrived on the first day as expected and banged out one third of the job (amazing!). They finished ahead of schedule and the quality of work was exceptional. There were no surprises along the way. The sign of a quality contractor is a good cleanup and it was absolutely spotless. You'd never have known they had been there.
Description of Work: The company replaced two roofs on our school campus. One on the main building which is 175 square and the other on a small modular building nearby.

+ -1 moreRob and Nor-Easter roofing came recomended by another vendor of ours, who had used Rob and his team on his own roof. He was so impressed with Rob and his team that I called Rob that night. Rob came the next day to measure and look at our interior leaking problems. He gave us a quote that evening in our kitchen (while also entertaining my two year old daughter that really took a liking to him). Rob gave us a fair price and took time to reccomend colors that would work well with our home siding color. Although he was not the lowest bid we recieved, he was the easiest to work with and I felt that we were getting a good value, great customer service and great workmanship. Rob set our expectations realistically (and warned us it may be a few months out). He called when he said he would (the day before the job) and his team showed up when they said they would that next morning. They completed the job in one day and didn't leave a trace! Rob followed up the next day with an in-person visit to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly reccomend Rob and Nor'Easter Roofing. I had a flawless experience!
