The whole job was excellent

Went Awesome. I would absolutely hire them again. They have all the right machinery!!! These guys showed up half a million dollars in equiptment, and did the job right, clean, and took it all away for an extremely reasonable price!!

Pete and his crew (one of his sons looks like Jason Varitek!) did a great job, and they took care of cleaning up debris around the yard. They were professional; very knowledgeable within their trade; educated this customer re: tree care which was welcoming, and were very friendly. I highly recommend Mass. Stump and Tree Removal. I would definitely hire them again!

We were treated as customers rather than just another commodity job. - Worked quickly and efficiently, rather than slamming the job through or wasting time going too slow. - They have a very good "eye" for knowing how to trim out a tree canopy for good profile and symmetry. Though the trees had extensive damage, the repairs make it look like no damage had happened -- they look very natural. - We *highly recommend* Mass Stump & Tree Removal; and anticipate using their services in the next steps of landscaping and tree work.

Pete came out promptly when contacted to provide an estimate. The work was performed professionally and in a timely manner. Access to the trees was easy, as they were near the street. Workmen were careful to avoid damage to my mailbox, septic system and power lines.

Paul and his boys did an excellent job. My stone wall received minimal damage, and they performed a little extra work to move big stones away from the old root ball and out of the garden area it was sitting in. That step was huge for me, and Paul just did it, no need for debate.

Mission accomplished! The weather wasn't cooperating, as it was cold and raining, but Pete showed up with his team and equipment, and they took the trees down for us. Pete is really great and I continue to appreciate all the work he's done for us, and his flexibility to keep his prices low by allowing me to do what I'm capable of for the cleanup. I'm very pleased.

The team arrived, as scheduled, and went about its work in a totally professional manner. The team worked well together to complete the job, as promised. I called Sunday at 6pm, and Mr. Tankis came over that night to take a look and had the job completed on Tuesday, which would've been the next day but weather prevented due to safety. Mass Stump and Tree Removal prizes safety over all else, ensuring the job will be done without any issues. The team of Gentlemen that arrived were extremely courteous and explained everything they were going to do ensuring I was comfortable with the job. I will be hiring them again soon to do more work for me. A true 10/10 experience, I cant recommend this company enough.

The work went very well. Called the night before. Showed up on time. Did a nice clean job. Clearly explained the estimate. The tree company was a father and his two sons. Pleasant and professional. Would definately hire again and recommend.

Both times went very well. They clean up nothing I've ever seen. Could not expect anything more. If need arrises, they will be called again. If you ned tree work, Pleas call them.

Judy was absolutely wonderful. Her husband was on another job as well as her sons. She was able to make last minute arrangements to have another one of her sons meet me at my residence for an estimate. Not only was the tree removed and secured to be transported, I also received an education on caring for trees. Pete advised me about the thinning and showed me exactly which limbs would be removed and which would be trimmed, and had me approve the work when he was finished. Since I heat with wood, his crew cut the large limbs into stove lengths for me. The clean-up was all I could have asked. This company operates on the old-fashioned values of good work at a decent rate. I am very satisfied.

It went great. They called back the same day after i left a message, showed up to scope the project and look at the tree, came back the next day and did the work quickly and efficiently, cleaned everything up, and did it all for the estimate given. If I need more tree work in the future I'll call them first.

The service was very efficient and went smoothly without a damage to my pool fence and adjacent properties. All the logs and brush were removed and they also used a large portable blower to clean up the property and my driveway. They used a lot of machinery to quickly perform the job. They were done in three days and I had a lot of trees removed.

We are a 130 unit, duplex condominium development with 63 acres of Common Area. We've hired Mass Stump & Tree for all of our tree removal and stump grinding needs for several years and have always been very happy with their work and prices. Communication is always present, they come when they say they are coming, and they do a great job. The owner, Pete Tankis, has been in the business for over 40 years and knows what he's doing.

This is the second time I used this tree service. Service was very professional and the personnel were very easy to discuss the work with. Gave advice on what trees should be taken and which should be left alone. From the conversations it was clear that they had years of experience and in depth. Will use them again when needed and would highly recommend.

He is now approaching 70 and has been climbing trees all of his life and is quite the monkey when it comes to trees. He is in shape and climbs a large tree in less than a minute. He cleans up after himself. He grinds everything up and it leaves in the truck with him. He is clean and tidy.

Very good job. More to come....the stump is to be ground down in April. Complete report at that time.

Pete was quick to come out and give a quote. He accessed some of the branches from two neighbors driveways. In both cases he checked with the neighbors before using their driveways, in one case he took down an additional branch as a "thank you" to the neighbor at no additional cost. Final bill was not presented until Pete had an opportunity to speak with me and make sure I was happy with the service, which I was. Final bill did not exceed the quote.
