Pete and his team did excellent work pruning some tall trees that over-hang my fenced in yard. Mass Stump and Tree have state-of-the-art equipment that fit through my standard gate and did NO damage to my moist lawn. Pete's team cleaned up all of the cut and I would certainly hire him for future work. Pricing was fair and he showed up when he said he would. A++

Peter was very communicative - he called twice to make sure we received his insurance certificates, and offered us a discount from the original estimate when his schedule opened up. He and his crew showed up on time, dropped the 5 trees where indicated, and did a very professional job. Will definitely consider using again and recommending them to family and friends.

Working with Pete, his two sons and two other employees was a superb experience that met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations.

This is the second time we worked with them and they do a great job, are reasonably priced and made sure to get out as soon as they could. They cleaned up much of the debris (leaves) in my yard.

The results exceeded my expectations. As anticipated, It took several days to complete the job and rain delayed some of the work. Communications on when they would be here and what would be done at each stage was excellent. They cleaned up very well in the front yard where we agreed they would, and did a bit more than they had to. To reduce the cost, I said I would remove the trees and clean up the back yard and doing it is giving me a greater appreciation for what they did in the front. Their price was a bit higher than other quotes for cutting down the trees but they recommended some modifications to my requested work that made a lot of sense, resulted in a better outcome, saved me a lot of work and left the area in much better shape than simply cutting down the trees. In the ratings section I gave "PRICE" an A even though they were a little higher because I felt the value for the price was great. The final bill was exactly what was quoted and I was very happy with the work. I'd highly recommend these guys and would certainly use them again.

I called Mass Tree and Stump Grinding to have a dangerous tree removed and some trimming work performed. I have used their service in the past. Pete came out a few days later and gave me an estimate.. I okayed the price that day and he said they'd be out within a week to 10 days. They came to do the work in the promised time frame and took care of the tree. The access was very difficult but they did not have any problems with the take down. They crew was polite, professional and competent. i would definitely hire them again.

I had 7 trees cut at a very reasonable price, they gave me a day when they said they would be here and they were here that day, they were very professional and friendly. The work was done with no damage to my property and cleaned up, you couldn't tell they were even here. I would definitely commend them to friends and family.

We selected Mass. Stump & Tree Service after reading many favorable reviews about this companies services. We had overgrown arborvitaes, maple trees, and dead plum trees removed, and their stumps ground down in our front and backyard, and 3 other large maple trees pruned for better appearance. They came right on time with a 4 man crew and all of the necessary equipment, including a huge crane truck, tree chipper, and stump grinder. In a little over 4 hours they had completed all of the work that I had requested. I was impressed by their professionalism in everything they did, from expert pruning, to their careful work in removing a stump that was intertwined with our irrigation system valve box. There was no damage done to any of our underground pipes or cables, or any of our flower beds and gardens, even as they were pruning branches from trees right over these areas. When they finished, they cleaned up all the twigs, roots, and branches left on the lawn, only leaving the shavings from each stump removed. Since we live Shrewsbury, the logs from our maple trees that were cut down could not be removed as they could be hosts for the Asian long horned beetle. They did offer to transport the logs to the approved disposal site in Worcester, but we elected to keep the logs in our woodpile for firewood. We will certainly use this company in the future for all of our tree work as they are a great family team, devoted to customer satisfaction, and at a reasonable price.

Excellent! A friend told me about them and I thought they couldn't be as good as he said. One man came and looked at the job and gave me a price and said they would come the next week and they did!
