At the start things seemed fine. They showed up as they said to open the pool at our new house but found our filter was cracked. So they removed the cover and found an algae/mess disaster in the pool. I'm not sure what they did at that moment, as their communication was terrible. They came back two days later to install the new filter and that was that. They never told us if they actually treated the pool at all. We went back to them throughout the following week with water samples and pictures trying to get the water cleared up. They seemed disinterested in helping us and never offered to come out and see what they could do after we spent over $1000 with them on the opening and new filter. Luckily we found another option in Sutton at Heritage Recreation. They took the time to really help us and in only 5 days our pool was clean and ready to go. If we had kept going back to Band L who knows when the pool would have been cleared up. Band L's chemicals and supplies are overpriced and the technical knowledge and customer service is lacking.

We performed a normal pool opening on July 1st and used extra chemicals (no extra charge) because the pool was very green. Upon inspection, our techs discovered that the filter was cracked and needed to be replaced at a cost of 599 (totalling 815 for both services). We were able to get back there the NEXT DAY to install the new filter and add additional chemicals to help clean the water (at no extra charge). We have a very accurate and detailed water testing system, but we don't have this name in our records for ever testing water.

It didn't; they did not show up. After a few hours when I called I was told they and quot;forgot to takeand quot; my contact information so they didn't send anyone and couldn't call me back. That's unfortunate, because I specifically remember giving them all my contact information, and that they mentioned they had been servicing my address for the previous owner for years! I offered to give them one more chance and reschedule, but that I wasn't willing to take a whole day off and wait around again. I requested a morning, not even a specific time, just a and quot;morningand quot;. They said they couldn't do that. I don't consider this an acceptable level of service. After a no-show, costing me my time, absolutely no flexibility or offer to make things right whatsoever.
Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment for a pool closing, took the morning off to be home, and they no-showed.

I think they are very responsive and good with their business. They have a store and they just pick-up any chemicals needed. They have been in the business for 26 or more years. I am happy with the price as well.
Description of Work: Our pool was installed two years ago and B&L Pools provides us pool services in a regular basis. We hired their services again last summer.

A+ We used Band L to open our pool this year and for all our service needs. Band L answered my questions over and over again until we go them the go ahead to install it.
Description of Work: B&L replaced our aging Eco-System ESC salt chlorinating system with a brand new state of the art Hayward Aqua Rite system. B&L was very helpful in troubleshooting our old system and fielded many phone calls with questions as we had just purchased the house over the winter and where new to pools and even more salt water. They talked about all our different options and were very helpful. The $2,000 included included the Aqua Rite System, Salt cell for our pool (25K gallons), install and removal of old system. It does not included salt if you are converting from regular water to salt water.

THE MEN THAT PERFORMED THE WORK ON OUR POOL WERE COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT. THEY WERE ALWAYS AVAILABLE BY PHONE IF WE HAD QUESTIONS. THEY PERFORMED THE WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER.
Description of Work: AFTER HAVING OUR POOL LINER REPLACED AND DECK RE- CEMENTED, B&L RE INSTALLED OUR SAFETY COVER FOR OUR POOL. THIS REQUIRED ORDERING NEW BRASS ANCHORS FOR THE DECKING AND PUTTING THE COVER ON. THE GENTLEMEN FROM B&L ALSO PERFORMED THE STEPS TO 'CLOSE' THE POOL FOR US (ADDING CHEMICALS,FLUSHING OUT PIPES GENERAL WINTERIZING).
