this company was recommended by a friend who uses him for lawn work. in the end the work looked pretty good. however, the $3400 estimate turned into a final bill of $5800. The owner, Peter Lekkakos, will tell you that i added on "more and more work." but what i added on was flowers in 3 flower boxes and an increase in the size of the patio. when we had initially met i told him what was needed for size, but he didn't have a measuring tape with him. they were installing a patio that was smaller than i wanted, so i had to ask them to make it bigger, which increased the price by a few hundred dollars, $500 or $600 at the most. anything else that was in the final price was included in the estimate in a way that left it unnoticed by every condo owner in the building. no dollar amounts were given for those items in the proposal. we were all shocked and had to meet and discuss before paying the bill. we agreed that the owner is dishonest and that the estimate was misleading and deceptive. however, unlike me, the others didn't want to mess with a legal situation. so the bill was paid. part of the offer for the job was 4 weeks of biweekly maintenance, including weeding and raking. the work was done in august, the first visit was yesterday (october 17). Peter Lekkakos will claim that he made 4 visits, but i know what my property looks like on a day to day basis and i had been waiting to see if the promised maintenance would get done before contacting him again. we got 1 of 8 promised visits. oh, and at least three of the stones on the repaired wall (three so far) are loose and have yet to be resecured. he is a liar, and he can't be trusted. if i had come to angies list first, i wouldn't have had this problem. i have also filed complaints with the better business bureau AND consumer affairs. doing business with Peter Lekkakos and Proscape Landscape in Lynn Massachusetts was nothing more than a disappointment and most definitely a mistake. don't do it.

I had them here for the last seven years. There is absolutely no worries; it is taken cared of. In the morning, if it snows; it's plowed. They clean up in the spring. There is no worries. I just look at the window and they take care of it.
