WE applied for a rebate of $400.00 through "Next Step Living" on a $15,000 furnace, hot water heater and AC unit. After a year of aggravation with next step living we filed the paper work to Mass Save through an El Paso TX company: "Gasnetworks" in January of 2015. The work was completed in December of 2014. We waited a year for the rebate and then called Mass save in March of 2016 The person at Mass save said that the Texas company was no longer processing the paper work and that they now were handling the paperwork. Incidentally, their records showed the paperwork that I had submitted for a thermostat years ago that I never received a rebate for. They told me that the Texas company had not handled the application properly and that I should refile all the paperwork. Which I did. around March 18, 2016 I got a letter back from Mass Save denying our rebate because too much time had passed. I filed the proper application within 30 days of the completion of the work. We paid an exorbitant price for the equipment and service,, but that's a whole other story. They mishandled the paperwork for a year and then punished us for their incompetence. I would never recommend either Next Step Living or Mass Save.
Description of Work: They did nothing for a year while we waited for our $400.00 rebate. then told us that the subsidy that we sent the paperwork to lost our paper work and that it was too late to refile for the rebate.
