They were prompt courteous and professional. Removed 2 large trees and removed 6 limbs. Cleaned up everything. Laid mats down so the lawn received no damage from the vehicles. I would use them again of needed

All work done professionally, and as promised. Did a customized job and added some extras. Will hire Greanleaf's again.

A very good experience. Rich is very professional and competitively priced. We actually spoke to 5 arborists to determine what really needed to be done with some of our trees, and Rich provided the balanced feedback (he didn't insist on cutting as many trees as possible like some companies do) and best price. His crew was great, fast, safe, and professional, with appropriate equipment. There was no damage to the property and we were very satisfied with the job done.

We had 11 large oaks and dozens of smaller trees safely removed without any property damage. The largest oak was 7' at the stump and the smallest was 2' at the stump. Rich communicated well during all phases of the job. Even though the crane they used could not reach one of the large oaks, they removed it by climbing, and did not increase the quoted price. Be sure to understand stump issues and expectations before starting a job of this magnitude.

Rich the owner arrived to give the estimate. He was right on time. He analyzed the one tree, which was dead, that I wanted removed, but then he noticed a second tree nearby, which was looking very unhealthy. He determined that there was significant rot inside of the truck, so I elected to have that tree taken down, too. We also discussed a couple of other nice, healthy trees that I have in my yard, and it is apparent that he has deep appreciation for and a lot of knowledge about trees. Rich gave me an estimate of $1100 on the spot, which included removing the two trees, and grinding four stumps. That sounded like a good price so I took his offer. He said he'd call in a week or so to schedule a time when his crew would come and do the work. Sure enough a week went by when he called back. His crew came on a Friday to cut down the two trees, and then returned on Saturday to haul the wood away. For an extra $60 they ground up a large brush pile that was festering in my backyard. That was very helpful. On Monday, a man came to grind the four stumps. They noticed two small stumps in the area so they ground those too at no charge. I was very pleased about this. During the process, Rich was in constant touch with me to let me know what was going on. He wanted to know if I was satisfied with the work, which I was. Actually I am completely satisfied. I wish all contractors were this conscientious.

I called and immediately talked to a human instead of a machine, set a date and time for an on-site review and the owner, Rich Gambale, showed up to the minute at the appointed time. The work was done professionally, carefully and to my complete satisfaction. A climber went up the trees, cut and lowered branches with complete control over the long and heavy limbs. I wanted the usable logs for a wood stove and the crew (3) cut and stacked them. The ground was raked clean, branches chipped and I was told several times that if I had any concerns, they would come right back to take care of them. At the bottom of their invoice is printed the statement, "Thank you for the opportunity to EARN your business" and they certainly have done just that.

Greenleaf's came over to our home to give us a quote, and Rich explained why some trees and branches should or shouldn't be removed, which ones would be problematic, etc. They were very responsive and scheduled the job quickly after the offer was accepted. On the day of the job, they were running a little bit behind from an earlier job, but were very professional about it and called ahead to let me know of the delay. Once the crew arrived, they worked efficiently, were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Overall, we're very happy with the work performed.

Working with Greenleaf was easy. The owner came out 1-2 days after I first called and provided a quote after spending time going over what work I wanted done. The work was scheduled for about 1 week later (vs some other companies I had provide quotes which required 6+ weeks of waiting). On the day of service the crew arrived late but the owner called in advance to notify me they would be late. The work ended up taking two days since the first day was a half day. The crew was polite and clearly experienced. They worked quickly and safely. They did a great job with cleanup after the work. The only unexpected side effect was that a part of my lawn took a lot of wear but I expect after a few weeks it will grow back in fine. Overall I would recommend them to anyone. I interviewed several companies and felt confident in their ability and was pleased with the results.

For the tree trimming, they came out and educated me on why I should or should not cut different branches. They we amazingly informative. Sadly the tree is in worse shape than I thought. While it's got life left to it, I know what to watch for and can call them back when the tree needs to be removed. The crew were fast and left the yard very clean. We had two tall pine trees removed from a rental property. Rich and his crew got the trees out and only left very low stumps. All the debris was gone leaving the yard in great shape.

The tree was split, and Rich advised my husband to install a cable support, which my husband has done with other large trees. Rich came out in the middle of a huge rain storm and didn't even charge for the trip. Rich has come out several times for other things and is generous with advice. Rich, we appreciate your advice but at some point, don't you think you should charge us? :-)

I had a great experience with them. Basically I used Angie’s List to find the good ones and I’ve had super success there. I’ve recommended them to my sister too.

I was not home to watch the actual work, but the aftermath was amazing. The tree was trimmed and all the sticks and dead branches were gone. I had actually forgotten they were coming and was surprised to see the tree looking healthy for the first time since I bought the house. I believe the price was fair, especially since I thought I was going to have to spend $2,000 to $3,000 to have a tree removed, and I can now allow my toddler son in the back yard. From what the babysitter said, watching the workers climbing the tree and swinging from branch to branch kept my toddler quiet and entertained for over an hour. My parents had also used this service in the past to remove two giant trees from their yard. My father is the cheapest man I know and even he thought Greenleaf's price was fair and work was top quality.

All the work was completed quickly and on time. The oak tree was trimmed, the Silver maple was removed , the cedar tree was cut down and hemlocks trimmed. There was a little bit of damage done to the fence, but it was quickly repaired by the company , no questions asked The owner went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with the work done. Could not be happier. The entire experience went well. We would definitely highly recommend this company and would hire again for more work to be done on our property. .

The crew was punctual and very professional. The owner was super knowledgeable when he did his estimate and we were so impressed with the entire service. The pine tree was well over 60 ft tall and the crew worked fast, efficiently and safely. We will be suing Greenleafs again in the future.

Very prompt. Did the job 1 week after estimate. They removed 2 large pines and 2 medium sized dead trees from my back yard. I was impressed with how efficient the crew was. They used a crane and log truck to maneuver the logs in a tight space between the house and a fence. No damage and they cleaned up so you'd never know they were there. The crew was friendly and professional. They used large sheets of plywood to protect the driveway edges and lawn from the weight of the trucks. Only damage was a small rut created on the edge of the lawn by one of the trucks backing in but Rich stopped by the next day and repaired it. I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did!

The crew was fantastic. A couple of the trees were very close to my house and quite large, the crew did an excellent job of planning how they would drop the trees without causing any damage and this they did quite competently. The crew was very polite and responsive. They moved things that I had not and they cleaned the yard thoroughly after they had cut down and removed the trees. They also cut the oak into about 12 foot logs and stacked them in the back yard for me. I also asked Rich the owner of the company a couple of question on some maples I had in the yard and he explained to me what was going on with one of them and on the other he made a recommendation to remove a root that was girdling the tree. I would hire this company again, they did exactly what was asked and priced it very fairly and they did an outstanding job all around.

The process was very good. I needed 2 trees cut down and both were fairly close to my house, so precision was important. Rich was very responsive and came out quickly to provide a quote and was also able to schedule the job quickly. The team of 3 guys showed up a little late (I was told 12 and they showed up around 3) on the day of service due to weather, not a big deal. They were very professional and dropped the trees exactly where they said they would. They came in with a backhoe to properly guide the trees to fall in the right area. They were quick, professional and efficient. I would recommend them to a neighbor or friend.

Rich communicated well throughout the entire process. He was on location with his crew twice before the project day to go over the logistics. The cutting of the canopys was a custom job as I could point to the branches 1 by 1 that I wanted removed for more sunlight. It doesn't get any better. His pricing was quite fair as well. He responded promptly to my initial call, scheduled an estimate date. He arrived as promised and gave me a written estimate. He gave me a rough estimate of when he could do the job. He called me back with an agreeable date and time. He was terrific about calling before he showed up. The job was done professionally and clean-up was excellent.

It all went great..very professional, curteous, reasonable and finished work on time. I was really worried what if they dropped the tree at my house and I stayed out for a little bit to watch. After watching them for 30 min..I was confident they were right for this job. Thanks to Angies list and Greenleaf both!

It went great. Scheduling the estimate was easy, as I was able to start with an email. Rich returned all calls promptly. Rich and a crew of 4 arrived on time, and worked hard to complete all the work. Before starting they talked with me about how they would approach it, and whether the crane could be used in the back. As the crane fit into the yard, they were able to do a little more work in the back than we originally planned on. They cleaned up all of the branches and needles, so that it would be difficult to tell that work had been done. The final price was a little higher than the estimate, but as more work had been done, I thought that it was fair.

He came earlier than he had projected, I was pleased about that. I was happy with the end results of the work. I would use them again in the future if need be. They were punctual, professional and courteous. They did a thorough job cleaning up.
