Owner was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He gave an honest assessment of the work needed to be done and an upfront estimate of the cost. The workers themselves were top notch. They were friendly, answered all of my questions, and the services provided could not have been better. They cleaned up all tree trimmings and made sure I was happy with the work. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this company and would hire them again without hesitation.

Of the four bidders, Rich was by far the most professional. He arrived when he indicated he would, walked the site, gave me a written quote with details, provided a current copy of insurance, discussed the work sequence and followed up at the agreed-upon time. The two crews that handled the work arrived when Rich indicated they would, were professional and completed the work as specified without adverse impact to the property. Communication was good and cleanup was acceptable.

Pretty well, overall. Sticker shock, of course, but lifting the lumberjack and 8 trees over the top of my house, I was glad they were as skilled and competent as they were. There were some communication challenges and some deadwood could not be removed with the equipment that was used. Part of the work was subcontracted out.

The process went extremely well, from my first phone call to Rich the owner to the workers leaving the job site. When we agreed to have the trees removed Rich gave us an approximate date and kept in communication with us as that date became closer if there was any changes. He came out a few hours before the crew to see if we had any questions or concerns and to mark the trees. He also gave me name of a stump grinder he recommends. As for the crew who took the trees down, they were very professional, friendly and efficient. The area they worked in was cleaned up afterwards and my plants surrounding the trees were not harmed.

Rich promptly returned my message to arrange a time to get an estimate and we were able to schedule. He was very responsive to schedule a time to have the work completed. On the day of the removal, the staffs were very courteous, clean and friendly. The work was completed quickly and they cleaned up wonderfully afterward. I was happy with the work before they left for the day. Rich was very professional and called later in the evening to make sure everything went well. Overall, the experience was great and I will definitely use this company again.

It went well. We will have him again eventually. We live on a very wooded lot, and the trees have not faired too well from the dry weather the past few summers.

At Rich's initial visit to view the tree we wanted removed, he gave us a price. He set up the date for the work and his crew was there at 7:30 am with a crane, logging truck, chipper and lots of very able workers who each knew their job. It was very impressive to see them disassemble the approx 80 ft. tree with precision. They had to lift the logs over the power lines with the crane. It was amazing how quickly they were finished and cleaned up. I would not hesitate to recommend Greenleaf's Tree Service and would definitely use them again if needed.

After viewing my tree, he declared it worthy of an A and said it would be living for a long time. I was extremely impressed by his almost immediate assessment of the tree. From my lack of knowledge about trees, his honest assessment and professionalism was refreshing.

They were a couple minutes early than their timeframe, which is a plus to me. They did a great job of maneuvering around the power lines and other existing trees. They were very thoughtful in their planning of executing the cutting of the trees. They did a great job of clean up, and even cut up one of the trees into 1-foot logs for me to have for my fire place. My only complaint is they broke one of my driveway markers and didn't tell me. I noticed it was busted into several pieces as they were leaving, and didn't say anything to me. Other than that, I'd hire them again.

The crew were punctual and worked until everything was completed. They removed an extra small tree (at cost) that would be an eyesore once the others were gone. They did not use cranes or heavy equipment that other services wanted to do, instead preferring climbers (which was a key reason we chose them).

Entire process was great. Started at 7 and by 1 the crew were starting to clean up. The entire crew were great. And I would hire again. Although not cheap.

Started at 7:30 am and finished at 5:00. Three pines were taken away and five oaks were stacked neatly in a pile in log length. (You will need to hire someone else to cut the logs or cut yourself if you decide to keep the wood for burning. And stump removal is an additional cost ) The cost was high but 2 trees were between 3 houses and were quite high. A crane and grappler was used. It was an extremely hot day with high humidity and sweat was not an option. There was a crew of 6 workers. .

Just as promised. Rich and his crew did a professional job. I will use them again.

4 crews showed up on time, starting the work at 8:00 am, left the property at 2:30 pm. Non-stop working, they cut down unwanted trees and pruned others nicely. They brought a truck with a bucket and chipping equipment, and when they left, all logs and branches were removed and I was really impressed by the professional work. They actually did more than I asked without telling me so, Nick cleaned out gutter nearby, and took care of 2 hornet nests that I could not reach. It was also entertaining to see Michael climbing a tree for pruning, since we could not bring a bucket truck close to the pool. Rich's estimate was reasonable, and he was very careful around the septic system, discussing how they could do the jobs done using which equipment, etc. I will definitely recommend them, and will ask them again to do more work for me for the future.

This is not the first time we have used Greenleaf's Tree Service, and it is the only one we will use. When you find the best, you no longer have to look at others. They are hard working and very professional. We are so thankful to Angie's List for helping us to find Greenleaf's Tree Service. When I look at our front yard now, I am so pleased that I had the old trees removed that we planted thirty years ago. They were fine when they were small, but no longer a plus on our property.

Show up as scheduled; on time. Completed the job as scoped out. Did even more work that they had too, which was appreciated for no added cost. Nice people, would recommend them to anyone who needs tree services.

They were very courteous and professional. They were hard workers and did a great job! They went above and beyond what we asked them to do. I highly recommend them.

The owner, Richard Gambale, came to advise and give an estimate for tree removal. He is a MA Certified Arborist and upon inspection of the wood lot behind and beside the house, we discussed and he pointed out two more damaged trees that were not in good shape, he took pictures , we agreed to the additional removal, of a total of 4 huge trees using a crane to access. The crew arrived on the agreed time, went right to work, they had arranged a police detail, all branches and debris were chipped up and removed. Tree length Logs were removed the following day. All heavy equipment operators were careful not to cause any damage to the driveway and landscaping. Nicest group of workers, friendly and professional. I am thrilled with the work they did, and the price. I will definitely use them again in the future. Most happy with this company and the owner. Money well spent and no worrying about the trees coming down during a storm and damaging the house. I will hire his company again.

This company deserves superstar status. Rich the owner is very knowledgeable and communicates and commits very effectively. Pricing is reasonable. Eric, a crew chief, focuses strongly on high quality work that will make a customer happy. Crew members are very competent, friendly, hard working, and fast. They did a great job with "extra" touches. I shall certainly use them for any future tree work. They are far superior to other tree companies that I have used before.

Rich is a knowledgeable, conscientious, and consummate arborist. He was able to trim our old mulberry tree, removing all the dead branches, while pruning the tree to retain its natural symmetrical shape. Moreover, he removed two small trees, underbrush, and bittersweet vines, many of which had been growing wildly in the area for over 15 years and were rather thick, cutting all to ground level. Rich recommended excavation in that area to prohibit future regrowth. He also had several practical tips on maintaining other vegetation throughout my property . I've used Greenleaf's Tree Service for the removal of trees from large to small as well as underbrush and vines for the past four years, and will continue to patronize this caring and professional business.
