Description of Work: Not reliable. I trusted him to be professional and reliable and he wasted my time. Scheduled twice, never showed up. Called to cancel first time after the arrival time he had scheduled. Scheduled second time, I waited all day and they didn't show up.

Description of Work: I contacted the provider on 10/08/2014. The office had the owner call me. I told him I had 8 trees down and wanted an estimate. He said he could come out on Friday between 7:30-8:30. I said 7:30 because my husband had to go to work. At 8 I called the office and was told the boss had left early for a job. I was given the cell phone number which I called and left a message. He called me back and said his chipper was broken and he should be able to come out by 10:30. Why would he need the chipper to do an estimate? He said he could come out on Monday. I suggested the weekend and he said he does not work weekends.

Description of Work: Called about tree removal. The owner came for an estimate the next evening. He is professional and helpful. Showed me what need to be done and gave me an estimate. I didn't use them because the estimate is higher than another company.

Description of Work: I might use them in the future, but for all of the trees that needed cutting after the Halloween storm, it was cheaper (by half) for my brother and I to rent all of the heavy equipment and cut the trees and grind the stumps, and chip the deadfall ourselves. We got 3 or 4 quotes that all came in within a couple hundred dollars of each other.

Description of Work: Just had two large trees felled and cut and stacked for firewood and had numerous dead branched removed from other trees. They had a full team on our premises, a climber, a bucket operator, chain saw operators and a ground crew that raked and blew the debris into piles for their removal. All work was done in a timely manner. The yard was spotless when they were done. They were very professional and focused on their work. We highly recommend this company and give them a superior rating.

+ -1 moreI had a very dangerous tree leaning toward my neighbors property and it needed to be removed very carefully. After having no luck with any other tree companies, I called Greenleaf's and Richard showed up promptly and gave me a price of $700 to cable, climb and remove the tree. I accepted and he said he would be in touch within the week. When he called back he said that he was concerned about the safety of the job and that he knew of a crane company that was in town that he could sub the job out to. Again I accepted and he was on site for the entire operation which was quite daunting. He very easily could have just said 'sorry the jobs too dangerous' but he saw it through to the end and everything went well. He obviously cares about doing a good job and I would recommend him highly.

+ -1 moreI received Rich's name from a friend, we had used a tree service in the fall that we were very unhappy with, and needed someone to clean up the mess, and unfinished work they left. We had several very large piles of brush from previous company left in our yard and many trees that were half cut, plus 2 very large trees that had fallen the previous year. I left a message for Rich on a Saturday, he returned my call the same day and was out to give an estimate that same afternoon. He did a walk through of the property, pointed out potential issues we could have with some of our trees in the next few years and quoted a price for the work requested of $500.00. We scheduled a time for a week later. Rich called 2 days prior to scheduled appt, had some equip. issues. He fit me in that weekend. He said he would arrive a 9a. He and his team of 4 arrived on time and got right to work. The job took about 4 hours. Rich needed to leave the site for other commitments. His team worked non-stop, they were polite, curteous, and very professional. Rich called during the time that his team was still working to check with us to make sure everything was going smoothly, which it was. Just prior to finishing the job one of the crew did a walk through with us to make sure everything was completed to our liking. They cleaned up prior to leaving. This was one of the best experiences I have had in hiring. The professionalism of both Rich and his team was commendable. I will use them again and again!
