+ -1 moreEverything went as planned. This is the first review that I have written because I was shocked by the other reviews. The work I had done is beautiful and professional. Would definitely use again.
Description of Work: Refinished walnut desk top and made a repair to drawer. Refinished small walnut table to match desk. Clean, repair, upholster (with my fabric) 2 arm chairs and 4 side chairs matched teak color of faded arm chair. Repaired lock on glass china cabinet in my home. Picked up and returned in their truck.

+ -1 moreThere were delays. The delays went on for months. They tried to charge extra over the estimate. They seem to forget that we paid 50% upfront. And now after 6 months the main piece, an antique table, again has cracks in the table top.
Description of Work: They were to refinish a number of pieces of furniture. This included repairing cracks and restoring the pieces to their original state

+ -1 moreHad to send back the table for restaining as it did not match the pedistals. In the end the leaf did not match the rest of the table and they inflated the price $300 over the estimate.
Description of Work: I needed my mahogany dining room table refinished. They took the pedestals to match the stain..but when they brought it back it did not match. It was "way off" and did not have any shine to it. I had them take it back (the delivery people agreed with me that it was "off") When they redid it and brought it back, the leaf did not match and the price had been inflated by almost $300. I was very dissatisfied and would never use them again.

+ -1 moreBelcastro refinished and repaired a desk that had been kept in a basement for decades. They've seen it all, so they dated the piece, knew the type of wood, recommended repairs, and offered a no-pressure choice of services and prices. They were always available throughout the process, and wanted my input on proper coloring and repair types. The result was amazing and looks better than anything I could have bought from Pottery Barn or any other high-end retailer.
