NIck came out, took measurements, and gave me a book to look over my choices for door styles. We discussed the openers as well. I went with CHI model 2216 - 2 inch thick insulation. I also got a new opener - Liftmaster 8550. It's quiet, wifi capable and has a battery back up. Nick came back on 11/7 and installed the new garage door and opener for me. He went over the features and functions with me. No mess left behind, prompt, and courteous.

in addition to the angies list providers i also shopped others who were recommended. the experience ranged form "now way id ever hire you" to "very possibly yes". bill and another angies list company were at the top of the list. while the prices were close, bill's was a little higher. i was getting a superior door opener and better spring system. bill always returned my calls and emails, even when i was in the shopping phase and doing close product comparisons. honestly i can't say enough good about him. when it came to installation he showed up 15 minutes before the scheduled start and ended within minutes of his estimated end time. the site was left impeccably clean, old garage doors and all debris was removed. bill took the time to explain how to do the advanced set up for the remotes so i can hook up my and my wife's cars. be it residential or commercial this guy is top shelf. i do not believe you will go wrong hiring him and following his expert advise.

Bill was one of four contractors I contacted to do the work. Although my interactions with the other bidders was satisfactory, Bill impressed me with his attention to explaining the details of the job, and his patience with helping us understand the various options. There was no pressure at any time to "award him the job". His final price was more than competitive, and I felt like I was getting the best contractor as well. I was not disapointed with the final result. He was punctual, courteous and professional at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

This is the second time we've used Bill to repair our garage doors. He's honest, reliable and competent. Would recommend him highly, will use him again when we need garage door work.

We've had the pleasure of using Bacon's Gargage Door Co a couple of times now and I wanted to make sure I submitted a report to let other members know about the quality and responsiveness of this company. I also own a business and since our customers are the first priority, I only want to work with others who do the same. I'm happy to say I've found that with Bacon's Garage Door Co. My company has used several garage door repair guys over the years....we have many little fork lift "incidents" where our doors are damaged from time to time. We dread calling the local guys as they never come when they say they will, do not take the time to explain what's going on.....but certainly don't hesitate sending a large bill almost immediately after! Needless to say, we would take our time in calling for repairs, which most likely made our doors even worse! We heard about Bacon's Garage Door through a friend when we needed another door installed. I reached out to Bacon's and immediately received a call back from the owner, Bill. He came out within 24 hours as promised, gave us the estimate and charged exactly as stated...not like other companies and their added "extras". This new door is shared by our neighboring company and they are very happy with it as well! Not too long after the installation of the new door, one of our other garage doors ceased to work. We didn't hesitate to contact Bill again and he came right out and fixed it. He made suggestions as to how to maintain it to maybe help limit the service calls. How many companies actually do that? Considering their business is to repair, they usually hope things malfunction again, and soon! I find Bill to be an honest guy that does excellent work, prices are very reasonable and is there when you need him. Really, other than it being free of charge, I'd say that's the best scenario for any service based company! I would highly recommend Bacon's Garage Doors to everyone.
