Slow in returning call. Came out to collect data for estimate, but never gave estimate. I called him repeatedly, and he eventually left a message saying that he would get me an estimate in a couple of days, but never did. If he didn't want to do the job, he should have just said so. I would not have faulted him for saying so. I cannot rate his work since he never did anything, and I spent the money with another contractor. However, I was disappointed and annoyed that he strung me along for two weeks. He might well do good work, but his customer skills need attention.

Ralph did a very good job quoting this job. He was very detailed with his drawings and design. He worked very hard to get subcontractors lined up to do the concrete work, etc. Unfortunately, even though Ralph's price was probably reasonable, it was more than we could afford right now. He original estimate was just at the limit of our budget, but once some of the subcontractors had gotten their pricing back to him, the total had risen out of our range. Ralph was very good getting information to us, whether through email, phone or site visit. I would call Ralph again for another job in the future.

I have used him several times over the years. The work is done well. He does all of the designs, which are innovative. He is also conscientious.
