They are hard to reach but they will call you back promptly. They were the nicest guys to deal with and even moved furniture around. They were fantastic to work with and they came when they told me they would be here. They called to let me know they were on their way. It worked out well.

Called promptly. He had to reschedule, but gave me plenty of notice and arrived five minutes early on the day of service. Very polite and took excellent care of our home. I would call on Tom again if I needed additional plumbing expertise.

I called Tom on Monday morning and he promptly returned my call. I discussed my problem with him (a leaky shutoff valve in my basement). Tom agreed to make an appointment for me for the upcomong Saturday. He did this even though he usually does not schedule appointments on the weekend. He did this so I would not have to take time off from work to be home. I appreciate that he was willing to do this for me. If I have any plumbing needs in the future I will definitely call him to do the work.

I called Tom on 12/10 to see if he would be interested in fixing a leaky T joint in my pex water line. He told me he was tied up that day but could do it the following morning. It was not an emergency so I agreed. Tom arrived at the scheduled time, diagnosed the problem and repaired it. He was in and out in less than a half hour. I have had other skilled professionals charge me and quot;minimumsand quot; of 3 hours so when he said $100 I was more than pleased. He will be hired to do our remodel in the spring.

When we noticed a very septic odor in master bathroom we looked on angie's list for local plumbers. The first one we called didn't return two call so we moved on to one a little further away from us - Tom. He promptly returned the call and set up time to come out and take a look. Showed up on time and sized up problem, came out two days later when someone could be home and fixed the problem successfully.

Came on time. Fixed problem promptly.

He offered a free estimate, but he sent me a bill for $150 for the estimate. He was totally inept about everything he was doing and he didn't know anything about the high-efficiency heating system that I had. He suggested me to replace the expansion tank, but there was nothing wrong with the expansion tank. It was the most miserable experience that I had and I would not recommend him to anyone.

We found Tom on Angie's List and he is every bit as good as the wonderful reviews we had read here. After several attempts to reach recommended plumbers who don't respond even when you are referred by a long time customer, I called Tom. He returned my call the same day and came to our house the following week (it was not an emergency). Most of the delay was to allow us to obtain parts that Tom recommended after patiently walking through the work to be done. His questions and instructions gave me confidence that he was not only knowledgeable but also interested in keeping our cost down and, by allowing us to purchase products of our own choice, ensuring our satisfaction. Tom arrived at our house promptly on the appointed day and he was very pleasant and efficent while here. He worked quickly and seemed to be very competent. Now, a few weeks later, we still are very happy with his work and remain impressed by his helpful approach. We definately will call Tom for our future plumbing needs.

I had a weird experience with Tom, apparently he had done some work on my mother's plumbing and when he sent the bill, I paid it but wrote a note saying that I thought it was awfully expensive. I didn't remember that when I called him but he did show up for a look at our home and we went through all the things I was looking for. He seemed very professional, curteous and I thought he was going to send an estimate for the work we discussed. I have not hear from him since our appt which was over a month ago. Apparently the items I was looking for weren't worhy of his services. Won't call him again.

All the work Tom has performed has been well done and the projects all went well. One entailed an unexpected surprise in the discovery of a previously unknown drywell draining a sink. Tom was able to get the sink back in operation by rerouting the drain pipe and capping the drywell without the need for major construction.

Tom was friendly and extremely professional. He went about his work efficiently and he was focused; he didn't waste time. While working in my home, he took care to protect surfaces and spent his time working on my repairs NOT talking on the cell phone which so many contractors do today. He assessed the situation, suggested alternative solutions, and then proceeded with agreed-upon work in an efficient manner. I highly recommend Tom De Fronzo and would hire him again.

He had to locate our shut off which was hidden behind a wall. He did a great job! We are pleased and the price was good. The job worked out well!

Was clean, punctual, fast, and did a good job. Felt price was fair but no bargain. Unlike other plumbers I've used in recent years, Tom had a good attitude and did not make me feel like my job was too small for him to care about.

I called Tom about the broken drain pipe under our utility stone sink in the basement. He came by the house the next morning and replaced the pipe. Fast, speed service combined with quality work. I'll definitely call Tom again when we have plumbing issues.

Tom Defronzo was wonderful. He is a really nice guy. I kept adding projects for him and he did everything we wanted done, the way we wanted it. He was on time and flexible. He helped us find the most cost effective way to get all of our projects completed.

I had recently purchased my home, and when I'd had the inspection done the home inspector mentioned that I should have a plumber take a look at the water storage tank. Additionally, we had some hot water issues in one of our showers (not enough hot water) and no cold water in our kitchen faucet. Tom came over on a Saturday, was highly professional and spent about 30 minutes looking at our tank and the hot/cold water issues. It turned out there was no work for him to do -- a water filter needed changing in the kitchen faucet, the hot water was set at about the right temperature, and the tank was ok for now. Tom was very professional, spent time explaining the issues to me, and didn't charge us a dime. I'll definitely use Tom again when something actually needs fixing.

I called Tom DeFronzo for a problem I was having with my shower leaking into the basement. He returned my call within 2 hours and set up an appointment for the following day. I appreciate his flexibility. He came when he said he would. He finished the job within an hour at a reasonable rate. He was friendly, polite and professional. I would definitely call him again!

Tom was very responsive to our initial phone call and we were able to set up an appointment right waway. Tom showed up right on time and was able to address our problems promptly and efficiently. He advised against doing any immediate repairs on two minor drips that only showed up occasionally. He did take down the parts and equipment information to do full repairs, if needed in the future. Overall tom was friendly, professional andresponive to our requests. His pricing wasn't inexpensive, but fair for the service he provided..We would highly recommend him.

This was my second experience with Mr. Defronzo. I called him on a Sunday to report that my hot water heater had let go and was leaking on to my basement floor. He arrived exactly on time the next day (Monday) with an assistant and replaced my old tank with a new hot water tank. He cleaned up any mess that was made as if he had never been there. I was very pleased with the end result. I am thrilled to have found a reliable, trustworthy plumber who I can count on.

Promptly returned call while on another job but was able to come that day. I scheduled him to return several days later, which he did. He is a good guy to work with and up front with what needed to be done. I don't recall what the job cost, but it seemed fair. I have called him for other jobs and will do so in the future.

Having been told that I had three gas leaks by my local gas company, (and having the gas turned off to my stove), it was important to me to get a qualified plumber to my home asap. I joined Angie's list specifically because of this job to find the right plumber. I was impressed by the ranking and reviews that Thomas Defronzo had received, so I reached out to him as well as another plumber. Thomas was the first to call back and made an appointment to come promptly the next morning. He showed up when he said he would. He and his associate were very professional. And when they completed the job, I felt that they had thoroughly assessed and repaired the visible problems. I would definitely use them again because I feel they know their business, and I greatly appreciated their sense of urgency regarding my gas leaks.

Tom was very accommodating when making the appointment, and then arrived promptly at the time scheduled. He and his partner worked together for 1.5 hours and got the job done just as I had hoped it would be. Best service I have had with a plumber to date. Professional, courteous, competitive, efficient.

A wet ceiling caused by an upstairs shower leak started the whole sereis of repairs that I had been putting off. Tom returned my call the same day, gave me an estimate the following day and began the projects the next. It is a bit of a rambling 2 family house and he did not seem to mind all the small fixes.

My husband and I bought two new toilets thinking we could install them ourselves...We found that to be overly optimistic! Tom and his colleague installed them for us, and he was great to work with. He quoted $400 including two new on/off valves, whihc we thought were leaking. It turned out they weren't leaking and he did not replace them, but the bill was still $400. When I asked, he explained all the charges and it seemed to add up...two guys for several hours plus a few parts made sense at $400. Everything is working great...We have saved about $400 on water bills in the 6 months since the replacements!!! The toilets were almost 40 years old, and the new ones are special water-savers, but we're still shocked at the savings...Get your old toilets replaced now!
