 + -1 moreMy expectations were exceeded on all levels with this company. I have worked with several contractors on other projects in the past and am usually left disappointed due to lack of professionalism or inferior work product etc. I am pleased to say that I had the complete opposite experience with this project. In addition to Jason's attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism he is also a very honest contractor (which can be very hard to find in this business). I would recommend this company without hesitation to anyone that is looking for an honest and talented contractor.
Description of Work: Demolition of an existing home and new construction of a custom home.

 + -1 moreJason, the owner of the company, was very easy to deal with. He is honest and straightforward. He does what he says that he will do. He and his crew arrived punctually. The crew worked very well even when Jason was not present. They were industrious. They were always pleasant to deal with. Jason did the job at the estimated cost. There were no surprises. They kept the site straightened out and cleaned the debris as needed. The job is very well done. We have had a number of violent wind and rain storms since the work completion and everything was tight and dry. I was very impressed with the overall job performance and would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Removed old roofing shingles and installed new ones. Replaced a wrought iron railing.

gutter repair, roofing, chimney repair
 + 1 moreLater, I had an inspector come, and they informed me that there was no chimney liner. There was a birds nest in there, it hadn't even been cleaned. He just chipped off the mortar, and slathered on new mortar. He didn't even point the bricks properly. Yet, I was still charged $5,000 for the chimney liner that was never installed. I Was pleased with how quick they did the roof, but after the employee got disgruntled it was all downhill from there. All the other work I didn't approve of that he went ahead and did makes me think he's a fraud. He thought I would never know the difference. A stainless steel liner was required when I converted from oil to gas, and it was then that the inspector discovered there was no liner.
Description of Work: I had a leak coming from the valley of the roof, so I hired him to fix it. He is a slate man, so I hired him, and I was very pleased initially. That was supposed to be the end of the work, and the roof was repaired, and everything was fine. He then complained that he did not have any more work, and the company man said "I'll find you more work." He then ran around the house. I thought he was looking for more slate, but they chipped the mortar chipped off the chimney and took off in a pickup truck. They said they had put in a chimney liner and charged me $5,000. When I confronted him, he said he had never heard of a chimney liner. He then had somebody come paint my house without my permission. I told him I didn't say anything about painting, so he didn't charge me. I had them pull off some gutters for me for an additional $400.00, and then the jobs were finished. I was already under a lot of stress from being cheated by other companies. My doctor advised me that I should have had him show me a contract to prove that I had signed off on chimney work, but I know I never did, and that was a hard lesson.

 + -1 moreInitially, we called Santosuosso to do a patch job on our roof. They completed it the same day as our request even though it was a very small job and probably more effort than it was worth. At that time, we also had them give us an estimate for a total roof replacement. We received the estimate promptly (within 2 days) and found it to be substantially less than our neighbors paid for a similar sized roof (1500 square foot cape with full back dormer and attached porch). The workers arrived punctually and were polite and efficient. The job was finished in a very timely manner and they cleaned up all the debris very well. We found this company to be very honest and professional. There were several opportunities for him to increase our price and perform services that we really didn't need (e.g., replace all our gutters when we asked about their functioning). We have recommended them to all of our friends and will continue to do so. The roof looks beautiful and we haven't had any problems with it in the year that we've had it.a

I acquired this home through our Family and knew it needed alot of work done- I wanted to find someone that I could count on to provide a great service and affordable price for our budget. They were very good about calling me back and scheduling a time to come out. They were also diligent with keeping the property clean and picked up at the end of each day.
Description of Work: Removed old Shingles from Roof and replaced with new. Also, Gutter Repair was done.
